moisture prevention for GX-E-CS2

I picked up a pre-owned compressor. This is a GX-E-CS2. No manual or instructions.
Looks like foam filter in then handle to catch moisture.
Is there a better moisture prevention system for this compressor??
Also, the fill probe fits loosely in the bottles. Just need new O'rings????
Seems like it might be hard to line up the hole in the probe to the hole in the tank.
Is there a trick to this???

I did get what I need to run AC and DC.
Thanks
Good Shootin!!

N/A  Haenel 311 broken piston need help plz.

I bought a rifle in a pawnshop with a torn piston. Probably the piston cap was not securely fixed at the factory, that's why the piston was torn off. These are the consequences, the thread of the piston cap was worn out, I did not find any other damage, the thread on the piston is intact. I only ordered a new cap. The rifle is in mint condition, this is evident from the blueing of the piston. They tried to repair the rifle, but they could not disassemble it completely, they also could not reassemble it correctly, since the rifle is very complex in design and experience in repairing these rifles is needed. Many parts were lost during assembly and disassembly. The missing parts did not turn out to be a problem and I ordered new OEM ones. My question is the following, is it worth putting the cap on the thread lock? I am afraid that there is some invisible defect in the piston and the cap will be torn off again, will it hold reliably? Or maybe use JD glue or epoxy?

Introduction

Hello all.

I recently became interested in air guns back in April, after accidently coming across the sport with a parallel hobby. As luck would have it, a former colleague sent me his old air rifle to use as a learning platform. Fast forward to today, and I now have 4 air rifles (including the first), a portable compressor, a not so portable compressor, a 9L tank, and a high pressure "bike pump" (used once, almost died, bought the portable compressor immediately).

I've been extremely blessed with some of the folks I've met locally, providing me with a ton of information as well as opportunities at gear I probably wouldn't have come across so early in the hobby. Thankfully, or regrettably, I have very limited impulse control and have seized most of the opportunities that came my way.

I look forward to learning and growing in the sport, I even have thoughts of competing at an event in October. We'll see what the cards hold.

Regards,
ZV

Edited to add my rifles are PCP's, hopefully answering the question before it's asked.

Brocock/BRK  Can moisture in a PCP affect accuracy?

The back story.

I am a newbie to PCP guns. My first one is a Ghost with a Hawke Airmax 30 WA SF scope I have had for a couple months. I am not a serious shooter, rather a backyard duffer/plinker.

My Ghost was grouping pellets like I was a pro shooter for about three tins of pellets. Then one day my groups moved about 1" left and 1" low. Consistently. So I zeroed the scope again and all was good for 50~60 pellets. I was still grouping good but would get a stray every five or six pellets. The stray would be 2" or so off the group. One day my first pellet was 6" low! Later I dry fired the Ghost not realizing my mag was empty. A large puff of vapor came out of the barrel. I am guessing vapor as it looked like thin smoke.

I fill the Ghost using a GX cs4i in my air conditioned shop. Thinking the drier air in the A/C would be good enough without a separate moisture filter. That thinking was apparently wrong.

When I bought into PCP I had planned on using nitrogen to feed the compressor. I modded the compressor so it would accept my nitrogen tank/regulator or use the compressor like it was designed. I did this for when I was filling the Ghost outside in my humid Florida environment. So I emptied the Ghost and refilled it using nitrogen yesterday evening. Went out this afternoon and shot about fifty pellets. Every five shot group was back to what it was when I first got the Ghost. The POI did not move back but tight groups and no strays.

So, for you experienced shooters, was moisture causing my bad groups?

FX M4, impact problem at 100 yards

* Hello everyone I hope you have a nice afternoon, I'm here looking for some kind of help or recommendation what should I do with my FX M4 .22 700mm sniper, I'm currently shooting 32 to 34gr slug, my highest point of impact is at 50 yards with a velocity of 960fps, at 50 yards I can make about 30 shots very consistent accurate, the problem is when I change to 70, 80, 90, 100 yards, the point of impact Automatically MOVES TO THE RIGHT About 3 centimeters, the further away you have the target the more it continues impacting to the right but the consistency of the groups are almost perfect 23.78mm MOA at 100 yards, but I need help or know how to do so that it does not make this impact to the right my M4 has many improvements.

HOW TO:
1- Barrel swap for a 700mm STX heavy duty barrel.
2- Carbon fiber barrel.
3- M3 barrel clamp with two bolts.
4- Carbon fiber barrel tensioners.
5- SUMÓ DONNYFL silencer.
6- Slug power kit.
7- Digital pressure gauge behind the grip.
8- TRS rail.
9- ARCA rail.
10- New telescopic sight.

I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP. I honestly don't know what to do with this problem anymore, but everything is working correctly afterward. I would appreciate your answers. Thank you.

GX-E-5K1 Compressor issues

I recently purchased an E5K1, which as far as I can tell has the same type water-cooled system as the K2 model. I used the compressor only to fill up my airguns (Umarex .30 Gauntlet and .50 Hammer) never used it to fill tanks. Unit setup was easy, and I thought I'd finally got a compressor that would last. I was impressed with the quick fill times, cool and quiet operation. That lasted a grand total of ONE hour operating time, according to the on-board hour-meter. The water pump stopped working, or would turn off after a few seconds. I could tell water was only circulating intermittently by watching the spinning/stopping of the flow indicator on the side of the compressor.

I'm really starting to question the quality / quality control of Chinese compressors at this point. I started with an Air Venturi Nomad, which lasted until the warranty ran out. This was followed by a Spiritech VE3, which quit working after several months. I was able to get a refund on that through Amazon. Next came a TUDIVING TXEDT032, a water-cooled beast with an engine about the size of a volkswagon beetle. Surely, I thought this would handle filling my guns with ease. Not so. Just after the Amazon 30 day return period expired, it gave up the ghost, refusing to produce more than 3000 psi. After monumental efforts, a refund was issued. Since I'm starting to get paranoid with all these failures, I decided to buy a little TUXING TXET063 4500 PSI digital compressor to use as a backup to the next compressor I set my sights on: the mighty GX-E5-K1... not the monster the K2 is but surely this one could handle my meager requests. By now, I'm starting to think conspiracy theories, that the Chinese are trying to destroy our great nation by sending us faulty air compressors. I'm in the process of returning ANOTHER air compressor. If I've learned one thing it's ALWAYS get the extended warranty!

If it was only me having these compressor problems, it would be one thing. I'm just a relative newcomer to airgunning, with only a couple of years experience and 23 dead coyotes under my belt; I don't know a ton of other airgunners. But I have a buddy whose a fellow airgunner, and he too has run through about 5 or 6 compressors. He has another buddy whose had similiar experiences.

Can anybody shed some light these compressor issues? What do you guys with lots of experience use for your guns? What compressors are the most reliable, having long service life? Thanks so much in advance!

Parallax Wheel

I’ve settled on buying an Athlon Heras 6-24x56 SFP APLR7 MOA for HFT and now looking at parallax wheels. The JD Custom wheels seem to be used by a lot of shooters. Is the magnetic attaching system it uses reliable, i.e., when removed and then reattached do the hold points on the wheel return to their correct position? Does it solidly att to the scope? Are there better options available? Thanks, Tom

Thank you HatsanUSA.

I emailed HatsanUSA to enquire as to the availability of a oring kit for my Hat.At44. I was having some difficulties locating a complete set. My email was answered by Kadden who informed me that they did have them. Kadden requested a copy of my receipt and address. This was on a Thursday evening. Sunday, father's day, the complete oring set in my hands. 😁
So I just wanted to come on here and give credit to HatsanUSA and Kadden for making MY customer service experience easy and very fast to get the product to me. I don't know if Kadden is a member or if the HatsanUSA people read these but just want to say Thank you from a very happy Hatsan owner.

RTI  RTI Priest 2 and Prophet 2.1 parts compatibility

Hello good men and potentially women as well, I've got a bit of an issue with my Priest 2 which I'm hoping you could help me solve.
The hammer in my gun broke, to be exact the part that sticks out on top of it simply snapped off, is there way to fix it to make it functional, even if not for very long?
Also, what's more important, I'm obviously looking to buy a new one and on RTIs shop the ones for Prophet 2.1 look considerably more rugged so I'd like to buy that one, does anyone know if they're compatible? They kinda look like they would be but you never know.
And lastly, just to be sure, I wanted to order the pivoting part of the trigger, part number 46 to be exact, I'm fairly sure it's the exact same part between the 2 (there's no Priest 2 specific parts apart from a few select ones) and the same question for all of you, is it compatible?
