PCP Rifle  WTT Edgun Leshiy 2 .30 450mm

Hello I am thinking about (mainly) trading one of my edguns, being that i don’t use them all and someone else could enjoy it! This one is my 450mm .30 cal. It is very accurate and reliable. I have really only ever shot 44.8 jsb around 870 fps. Has one black slug magazine, the carbon fiber hand guard, 300cc bottle, vertical ergo grip, and a carbon fiber blow back shroud that goes over the barrel (made by another member), and i also have a spare 250mm .30 barrel that’s included. Moderators, and scope setups can be discussed as well including the thermal. I am mainly interested in trading for a .22 cal. However .25 would also be considered. I am interested in m4 impacts, pantheras, things of that nature. Thank you!!

  • Question
why do people that say they don't know still

try to answer questions, wouldn't that be called guessing?Does guessing really help? I guess it if your guess is the right one,I am just guessing because it could be wrong .My guess is the person guessing just wants to be to have the freedom to guess. Why guess, lookit it up...."Just the facts, ma'am":ROFLMAO:

N/A  Another newbie looking for advice

Hi ya'll. I've been lurking here for years and am finally deciding to get into pcp's. I'm a long time gun hunter and shooter, do some reloading and have shot a lot of 3-D archery. My old bones are making 3D difficult and I'd like to have a shooting sport I could do on my small hunting plot if I didn't feel like putting all the gear together to go to the gun range. So, here we are. I imagine that some folks may be annoyed by these "where do I start threads" but we all have to start somewhere, so I appreciate your help and patience.

First, I want dependable stuff. While I like to tinker, I do not want to have to be working on stuff all the time to keep it going. Of course, my biggest concern is compressors. I will never spend much time rebuilding compressors ; I think that would kill my interest in the sport. Is it reasonable to think that a moderately priced unit (GX 3-I for example) would likely be reliable for filling 1-2 bottle fed rifles a few times a week ?

Next for a gun. I'm looking for light, reliable with high shot count. I'm talking a plinker, walk-around squirrel gun that I'll also shoot paper with out to maybe 75ish. I'm torn between a budget rifle to see if I really like it or jumping into a higher-end rifle as a do-all , at least for now. I like what I see with the shorter Stoeger XM1 in 22 with a 40ish regulated shot count. I've been in the archery rabbit hole for years so I kinda know where this is headed, lol. I like the bottle version of the FX Dreamline as well but I know there's a bunch of good choices in between these two.

I'm trying to be smart about starting out on this but there are so many options it's almost overwhelming. The amount of knowledge people have on this site is tremendous and I appreciate your input.

Accessories  WTS SOLD pending funds -T.R. Robb pellet sizer - .177 and .22 - Pellet Gauge head size trays in .177 and .22

I have the T.R. Robb pellet sizers in .177 cal. and .22 cal. as well as the Pelletgage.com trays for checking pellet head size in both .177 cal. and .22 cal.
I am no longer using either of these products so it's time to find them a new home.
The two T.R. Robb sizers were just over $100 when I bought them and the trays on the Pelletgage.com website are selling (new) currently at $49 each.
I'd like to get $120 for all 4 of these items and I'll pick up shipping CONUS.
I don't do PayPal, so USPS money order, cashiers check or Zelle. Personal check after it clears.

Ballistics calculations

A question for the wider community as a whole.

When sitting down and working out your ballistic tables for your airguns what information specifically do you find useful and what do you want to discover exactly.

I see lots of programs and apps for calculating this stuff but I am not sure they are all that useful. What am I missing.

PCP Rifle  WTS WTS Daystate Revere .22

WTS .22 Daystate Revere Safari edition. Absolutely nothing wrong with this airgun, just don’t shoot it enough. This is the non-regulated model and it shoots like it has a regulator. I get a good fifty shots per fill. It gets 860 fps with 18.13 JSB and 900 fps with JSB 15.89 grains. I want $750.00 for it. Scope, mounts and rings are not included, but if you want them we can negotiate a price. I will accept paypal f&f or a check if you don’t mind waiting until it clears. If you don’t want to use f&f then add $30 to cover fees. I have good feedback so you can purchase with confidence. I will ship in the original box with fill probe, magazine and single shot tray. I normally eat the shipping but the last one I sold cost me $100 to ship, so if you live east of the Mississippi add $25 for shipping and west of the Mississippi add $50 for shipping. I pack well and ship quickly. Thanks for looking .

Beeman  How to tell if a springer needs tuning?

Hey all, not sure if this has been discussed before but I couldn’t come up with anything in my search. Long story short, I caved and bought a used R9 off AoA. When it arrived I discovered that it’s one of the OG Huntington Beach models in excellent condition.

Now I know this is an older gun, and I know AoA tests every used rifle before shipping, but I don’t know the history of this rifle and I haven’t had a chance to fire it yet. At the risk of screwing something up, I have a couple of questions.

1. How can I tell if this gun has been previously tuned, or needs to be tuned? I’m not sure how to assess the condition of the spring or seals, for example. Bear in mind I’m pretty new to this so still learning the terms.

2. I’ve seen advice to apply blue loctite to all of the screws holding the barrel in place. In the R9, are these just the flathead screws in the stock near the barrel?

Thanks in advance, I’m excited for this one.

Say hello. What state or country are you from?

I have been a member of AGN for 8 months now. When I read a thread I look out of curiosity on where the members are from. I am amazed they are from all around the world. How about we say hi and state your country or state to show how widespread this airgun sport is and crosses all boundaries?

I will start with Hello from Colorado, USA

Accessories  SOLD Champion's Choice Offhand Stand- Blue- with Pellet Tray

Up for sale is my used Champion’s Choice offhand stand. Here’s the description from Champions Choice:

“This Deluxe Anodized Aluminum stand is used to rest the rifle between shots when shooting the standing position. It is lightweight but strong and designed to take the weight of a heavy rifle. It also positions the ammunition block in the most convenient location. The shooter can deliver shot after shot with absolutely no shift of their position. The stand is compact so that it is not in the way on the range and it collapses to 24'' for ease of transporting. This deluxe stand will extend to 60'' and comes with a pellet tray which can hold either a tin of pellets or a match pellet box.”

As can be seen in one of the pics, the thumb screw for the pellet tray is broken but still functional. I’m selling this shipped in CONUS for $95.00. Payment by PayPal + 3.75% or Zelle no fee. Please PM me with any questions.

HW/Weihrauch  HW35E-Great Rifle

I always thought the HW35 was an ugly duckling and I never could develop any interest in it. But after reading a number of posts on this and other forums by many that swear allegiance to this rifle, I had to see for myself. I recently bought one on sale in .177 caliber on AOA and have spent many enjoyable hours testing it in my 10M basement range. It shot great right out of the box with no twang or any other bad habits both with the factory iron sights and now with an Optisan CP scope perched on top. I've owned HW97Ks, HW95s, R9, R7s, R8s, but this one has become my favorite. Despite it's quirky looking stock and front lockup lever, this is truly a great rifle and I can understand why it's been in production since 1951. It's comfortable to shoot, not pellet picky and accurate. I'm in the process of shooting 20 5 shot groups with different pellets with this and my other rifles to see which is the king. Next up is my TX200.

Googling minimum FPE needed for pellet expansion.

I was last week-years old when out of curiosity I used GOOGLE AI to see what the minimum foot-pounds of energy was needed for pellets like the Crow Magnum, RWS Super H Point, Baracuda Hunter Extreme, etc need for expansion.

To my surprise, it had answers! And as it turns out, my (at that time) stock 392, with around 13+ FPE was below minimum by about 5 FPE (using the Crow Magnums as an example).

FX  Fx m3 compact

Just got a .22 fx m3 compact, I retuned it back to stock tune (ist reg, 150, second reg, 70, 16 on the 2. And 5 and a half turn) and it shot 803-808 fps very consistently on the jsp 18.1 grain. Is this normal? What's the best speed for the 18 grains? I know these are basic questions but bear with me as I'm very new to the Hobby. Thanks for any feedback
