This upsets me because it is not helpful

It is when someone asks about wanting to get a air gun that fits their budget. They state that,ok?
Then we get someone or a couple of people saying get so and so airgun because it's worth spending a lot more money for. Guess what? You just did that person a disservice. They told you they had a budget. It's not up to you to tell them they should spend $1000 over their budget. You do not know why they have a budget. I think these people who are saying to get an airgun outside the budget are just bragging on what they have,, or cannot read.
Another thing I see...a person will post all the information needed in their post and someone will ask a question that is Already stated,Like read the post ,that information is already in there ok I know that we all skim at times.
Thank you for your thoughts ,I am always willing to listen.

  • Question
Best K1 slugs ? Best pellets?

What are K1 owners using and getting best results when shooting slugs when hunting game such as coyotes ? What power setting are you using? What about pellets? What perform most efficiently, what power setting are you using for the pellets? My inquiry would be about the K1 25 cal. Thanks for everyones input.

Air Tanks  SOLD 30 Minute Scott ( 44 cu ft ) SCBA Tank

Selling this Scott tank that even though it is 17 years old , shows little to no use. It has never been hydro tested , nor banged around as evidenced by the condition of the exterior.

I removed the CGA 347 valve and examined the interior to verify that the liner is as new . Replaced the valve with a new 300 Din air gun specific valve and a 20" fill hose , aired the

tank to check function. All is good to go and ready for use. Due to the tank's age (09 / 07 ) it will be shipped empty to comply with DOT regulations . No commercial business will fill

this tank. You must have a compressor that is capable of filling a tank of this size. Also be very careful with moisture filtering as high pressure air and water are detrimental to the

aluminum liners. Selling for $180 including tracked shipping to the conus only . Not interested in trades or offers at this time. Please deal by PM . Thanks for looking............Herb

Snowpeak  Leaking M60B, up to a point

I recieved my m60B last year and used it all summer and fall. Stores it in winter and got it out last month to shoir a pesky groundhog on my wife's garden. First shot, the guge was showing full. After a few minutes, shot the pest again and shot a third time to finish him. Last shot felt weak and I looked at the gauge and it was at reg pressure,150bar. Replaced the o ring just below bottle since i cannot detect any leak. Filled it up and it would leak until it reaches regulator pressure and stop leaking. I cannot find the leak with a soapy rag . Looking for recommendations on how to proceed.
Thanks
Gil

Aussie HW 97

Have come across this interesting fact, about Weihrauch HW 97 that is being available in Australia.
It is required to have holes in the front muzzle tube. According to their law, that is considered a silencer,
therefore some holes are to be drilled. Don't know if the factory provides this alteration, but they have
to have it. Most likely does not effect the performance of the gun, and all it proves is the ignorance of
the people elected to legislate the industry.

N/A  Well I think im gonna have more time to shoot now

Well this is a post I didn't think I'd be posting about. In a month we will be selling our cows. It's been a whirlwind in my head lately trying to wrap my head around it. My dad started the dairy 33 years ago, about 6 months before I was born. It's all I've ever known.

Plan to keep the place for another year and raise our heifers still to sell off and lots of stuff to clean/fix up to get ready to sell. I will be able to have a decent amount more time to actually pest now so that's good at least. Hopefully wipe out our pigeon flock that tries to nest in our barn.

Will have time to actually dial in my guns and test them thoroughly and get them all setup with Strelok. It's been awhile since I've done that.

Huben  Krazcool Mountain metal GK1 25cal carbine

Hello everyone,
I just got this last week from Kelly. The mountain metal GK1 25cal carbine. I had some time after a rimfire match this evening to do some testing of ammo for it. I get one mag(17 shots) where it is set right now on a 4500 fill and power turned out about 2 revs. It loves the hades and the fx 25.4s. Does pretty good with 34s fx as well. It's a great little carbine for my squirrel hunting. Kelly did a great job with it!

You can see I adjusted as I shot for the first 3 and left it be for the rest of the group. I did tweak it to the left .1 mil after this group to center it up.

PCP Rifle  SOLD WTS Daystate Redwolf HP .30 w/heliboard 1460.00

Buyer disappeared so re-listing at considerable discount.

Daystate Redwolf HP .30 in beautiful walnut stock, has a 700cc bottle installed for tons of shots as well as a heliboard so there are 12 configurable power levels to chose from and each one can be individually tweaked to your needs.

This is the gun Dana used in his review video so check it out for a glimpse of the accuracy you can expect.

Gun ships with original board, battery, upgraded charger, one magazine and single shot tray as well as upgraded pic rail for scope mounting and lower rail professionally installed for easy bipod mounting.

Currently shooting the 44.75 right at 900 FPS and loved the JSB, FX, AEA and JTS varieties.

Say 1460 and we can split shipping. Partial trade considered for RTI Prophet Performance .22 with long range pellet barrel

Discovery Knocked it out of the park with this model

Ordered a newer model from Discovery optics "HD" series, This is a 2-12x24 FFP MPVO.

They nailed it. 16oz.
5y, yes 5, and it's accurate and clear 5yrd min parallax.. Oh yes, it does have a side parallax adjustment wheel, One of the main features keeping me away from these compact little scopes Was the lack of adjustable parallax.5-infinity,
MRAD reticle, simliar to their HT VHR type reticle, no clutter. The glass quality is Insane for the pricepoint of $189.99. The adjustments are 1/10th mil, they are audible, very tactile, very defined, solid, precise. Tracking is perfect per usual with D.O.

Very happy, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to lighten up their piece with a compact FFP optic, without sacrificing Magnification power.

Another ammo horde!

Spring clean up week is going on and decided to upgrade my holding containers. When moving things I knew I had a lot of pellets...but dayum! Didn't know this much! And this doesn't include the lead wire for the Corbin press!

There are a TON of 22 pellets and quite a stash of 25. The small bin in the cabinet are the 177 ammo. So clearly I shoot far more 22 ammo than anything else. Ammo brands from Air Arms, JSB, H&N, FX, AEA, and JTS......so think I am good for a while.

Seems I either need to start shooting much more, or get more guns to have fun with.

I know there have been a few of these, but it's always fun to see how people advance further down this hole.

Air gunner new here

New to the forum and dedicated air gunnin. Avid pewpew owner though..... At least until that tragic boating accident lol.

Currently looking to break into the backyard pesting arena. Current choice on the block is the Urban. Previously wanted the Arrow or Swarm Gen 3, however, thanks to the into on here I've settled on that Urban. I want quiet so I'm steering clear off bb guns. I'd like a marauder but for now I think the Urban will do for my needs.

The Amazing China airguns.

I'm trying to make this post about the China airguns to see why there ,so run down here on the Nation by several members. I have a Zelos ,vand it's a very accurate PCP.
I remember years ago when Gibson was copied by the China Guitar industry the one I bought was a copy of a Les Paul , and I learned that Gibson actually stole some their ideas to incorporate into their guitars. I'm not Defending China in any way just know that some things that come from there are excellent , and somethings just junk. I'm a patriotic person , and would if I could afford it someday I will buy.a RAW airgun. I also learned from the " $2000 Dollar Gun post that I would like to have a Taipan bullpup , and the new tactical one recently seen on the Industry news.
I wanted a Seneca Dragonfly Mk 2 , but seen some reviews where the owners had troubles with that butterfly linkage breaking down , and thought damn that would be just my luck. There are original Sheridan's , and Benjamin's that are still going strong. I might buy a Dragonfly , and copy that linkage in stainless just to make it last a minute. OV.

Backyard Airguns by Mike Jones

Moving to a PCP after 2 springers, I was wandering around looking to go down the wrong rabbit hole buying guns and accessories I had no clue about. Mike Jones of Backyard Airguns saved the day, we talked several times, emailed tons and texted for a couple of weeks as Mike helped me hone in on a specific gun exactly suited for my particular needs and budget. I can’t say enough about Mikes customer service, and professional advice I didn’t know existed in this market. I sent him a scope that he mounted on the gun I bought from him, then he experimented with pellets that gives my gun unbelievable groups. Where else can you find this level of customer service?

Mike Jones of Backyard Airguns, if you see this, I have the greatest admiration for your skills and appreciate your expert advice before and after the sale. THANK YOU!!

Barra  Found a great tune don't screw it up !!!

Did you every stumble across a tune that you don't want to mess with ? I was shooting my new Barra 250Z messing with the regulator and slugs and stumble across this.. Missed one.. would you mess with it ? I was trying different size slugs and this was the .2194... .22 AVS slugs!! Tried the .2183 slower velocity..
