SOLD Evanix VIPER (Serial # EV0003) PCP Pistol

20230109_143507.jpg

I hate to do this, but I am offering my Serial # EV0003 prototype Evanix VIPER for sale. The VIPER video is fast on it's way to 1 million views. This may become a collectors item, as the production versions will be different. This is the 3rd VIPER off the line. Here is an opportunity to own a piece of airgun history. This gun is as brand new. It was only shot in the video, and then back in the box. Includes 2 magazines. If it doesn't sell at $1150, I will lower the price each week until it's reaches the retail price ($975). I know it will sell then. If you didn't see the video, this gun is amazingly accurate. It's .22 caliber and semi-auto. 14 round magazines coming soon.

$1150 free shipping. Paypal Goods and Services OK. You can email me at [email protected] or PM me here or call or text me at 360-844-0962

P.S. I haven't told anyone yet, but Evanix's owner asked me what to name this gun and I suggested "VIPER" ...it was almost called the Evanix "DARK" ...???

Alpha vs Delta

Hello AGN community. I have decided to give daystate a chunk of money, and I can’t decide whether the Alpha, or Delta wolf would be the best choice. I am also interested in hearing about other options that actual gun owners might have. Please point out any negative issue you might have had, along with the positives. Thank you in advance for any information provided. I am looking at .177, and usage would be Field Target, IFP, and other club events.

Two match grade triggers for FX Impact M3 are ready to be dispatched to two users in two different countries.

I realised that after manufacturing, the proper adjustment of the triggers also take few hours then I lock tightened them.

I hope these will be plug and play for the users.

A look back: The Marauder

My First Pcp was a Benjamin Maruader. This was 2010. Having had around 20 springers in my stable. This first gen m rod was my first ever pcp. .22 cal. Those first Maruaders were hit or miss mine was somewhere between and I promptly sent it away. To be tuned and it was. ( Greg Davis was the tuner if any can remeber that far back )

After that it was a floating barreled shooter ( it was a comprehensive tune ). It shoots 14.66 HN. @ 910 -920 fps
( 5.52or 5.53 head ). Nickle size group at 50

I have some modern carbines and bullies nowadays and they are fun. A couple days ago I broke out my old first gen Maruader. Still holding air and shooting pretty accurately. It’s simple and it’s still good. I even like the way it looks. You always remember your first love.

I’m sure others here have had a marauder so share your love for them.

mine seen here with a Barska 3 x12 / Bipod and tank trirail

In search of .177 for pesting?

Hello everyone,
Since I got the squirrel gun figured out, I need your help with another choice. My wife here in last year has gotten into chickens out here at our house. We have 40 some chickens now and they are let out during the day to roam about. She feeds them food in the yard front and back. Since then the starlings and sparrows are everywhere. They are crapping on the equipment and vehicles outside around the barn. I’m fed up and need to start shooting them. My .25s are too much for that and too expensive as far as pellets go for birds. So I am looking for a.177 for this job. I am fine with a good quality springer or a high shot count pcp. Really don’t need high power that’s why a Springer would work just fine. I have a compressor now so I can fill with it. Shots distance is from 20yds to 50 usually. Now they do have a tendency to hang out on our pasture where they can be 100 to 200 yds. I don’t care as long as they stay out of my yards. What do you guys think?

Tune a Beeman R7?

I bought a Beeman R7 recently, and have been breaking it in. The JSB Exact RS Diabolo 7.33 grain pellet does the best, but others work out well. Question: Is it worth the money and effort to replace the original spring, or go with a tune using the Vortek Pro-Guide 4 Tuning Kit? And is that the best, or maybe the ARH Maccari kit? I am going for max smooth, not a harder-hitting gun.

Thomas Air Rifle

Thinking about getting a Thomas. The ultimate, right ? No fliers, no excuse for the ” rifles fault “. 100 % confidence in the pellet going where it’s supposed to go. The proof is in the targets and I have plenty of awesome Thomas targets. All this praise and joy. They’re must be some downside. Can some Thomas owners chime in and give me a reality check before I write the “ reality “ check. I have a 25 cal RAWfor long distance. A 8002 10 meter gun for inside. A 22 cal Dreamline for outdoor silhouette practice. I used to shoot a 30 BR at score matches and I really like the precise shot placement game.
HELP ME!!!

Not gunna happen(he said as he fell into the rabbit hole)

Pcp plunge.....nope.
Would be fun don't get me wrong. Just out of my price range really. First I would need a slinger then an air source and a closer shooting place....the only leg up I have is that i already have pellets🤦‍♂️😅 I have a decent setup selection wise🤷‍♂️nothing top notch but it's all mine and paid for, plus i enjoy what i already have...why get greedy now?🤙🥰 maybe in the future; just can't see if happening anytime soon.
If anything I would buy duplicates of what I own so that I could tinker into the old ones🤷‍♂️

Collection

Hi everyone, I’m new to airgun nation.. I have a collection of c02 pistols that I pulled out of my closet. I have a daisy Powerline 408, and 5170 (and others Gamo, Berettas, etc) that are in perfect condition (fired maybe once or twice). I noticed that they are no longer made by Daisy. I don’t have a need or use for them anymore, just wondering where the best place to possibly sell them would be? Thanks for your help

Old tom

I have an old tomcat forcing himself on me, right now. He is 19 years old and has been one of my best hunting partners, ever. He wants to be petted and loved. I cannot tell him no, as tomorrow may not exist for him. We must love the creatures who love us. We must take care of them, until death. Bob is 19+, years old.

Longer barrels is it just me ??

Hello this is my first post in this section. I would like to say I have two FX streamlines. A 22 and a 25 cal. I am finding that a longer barrel isn’t necessarily my friend when it comes to accuracy. At least I really think this is the case. I mainly shoot both off a bench. I find my 22 is much easier to consistently shoot penny size groups at 50 than my 25. I have shot many penny size groups out of the 25 so I know the gun is plenty capable but I can’t do it nearly as consistent. I can only figure it has to do with the longer barrel and more power in each shot of the 25 ?? The 25 even though benched is actually quite hold sensitive. It seems to want more love (held a bit more firmly) than the 22 requires. Does anyone else experience this ?

What is it about SWFA SS scopes that make them suitable (rugged enough) for air rifles?

I have several for my combustion rifles, and after reading here, I understand they have a following for the air rifle folks (i've read all the related threads). From what I know, SWFA does not advertise them as being air rifle "proof" or whatever. My question is what makes the SWFA SS line sufficiently different from other firearm scopes to enable them to not get shaken to death? And is it by specific design or just "luck" that they are GTG on air rifles?

I ask because I hope/plan to get into air rifle hunting for turkey and would like to use a scope I already have v. buying a specialized one.

Thanks.

NLA Testing the water

Hello all,
