Offering my beautiful .20 Beeman R9 meticulously tuned springer for sale as I continue to make room in my vault for more projects. This rifle was tuned using a Vortek PG4-Steel HO kit and vac seal. Internals were hand polished. Trigger was fully disassembled and all parts hand polished and lubricated - breaks like glass.

As shown below, it prefers the H&N FTT 11.42 pellets. This rifle is extremely accurate and deadly out to 40 yards. I have owned this air rifle for probably about 10 years and I am now letting it go so it can be enjoyed by the next pneumatic enthusiast. I have used this air rifle to kill a metric crapload of animals including sparrows, pigeons, rats, rabbits, porcupines, squirrels, crows and the only two coyotes I have ever killed. This gun has been with me across the country, been lent out to friends for slaying vermin or just pure enjoyment and it has never missed a beat. It is a really neat gun.

I have never modified the internals so it is putting out about 20 ft-lb of energy at the muzzle with 18.1gr JSB Diabolos but I did add a section of picatinny on the forearm to mount a bipod. This gun does have scratches and stuff from being actually used and you can see them in the photos. This gun holds air perfectly and has only been drained for hopping on a plane or getting mailed.

This gun comes with 5 magazines (4 in the holder, one loaded) for 60 shots of lethal joy so load up and get cracking. Coincidentally, about 60 shots gets you from the edge of yellow to the edge of blue so having empty magazines is a good sign you need to recharge.

Purchase of this package comes with a compressor for refilling off of a car as well as the fill probe. Might want to re-do the battery contacts but it is a simple fix.

Fx Maverick 25cal 700mm sniper with lots of upgrades and very powerful this beast shoots a 38gr h&n heavy slug 1013 fps for a whopping 86fpe which will give you about 48 shots per fill (or it can be tuned down to 900 fps for 68fpe with the same 38gr slug which will give you about 60 shots per fill) will easily takedown a coyote or bigger. Some of the upgrades include a slug power kit a saber tactical picatinny rail extension a 5 star rear monopod I also have a bullet central carbon fiber tensioner and carbon fiber shroud also comes with a superior heavy slug liner and the original pellet liner also comes with and lighter pellet hammer and pellet probe and comes with 4 16 shot magazines it also gets about 2 and a half mags per fill (or about 40 shots per fill) the only imperfections is a very small nick in the side of the plenum and a few very small spots were the paint got rubbed at the back on the stock (I would take a picture of these blemishes but they are so small it wouldn't even pick up on the camera) also there is a small piece of tape once again not noticable that holds the sidlever pin in place that is not a defect it's how it was sent from FX so I put tape on the hole to keep the pin in .

Long story short if your looking for a very quiet beast of an airgun that you can kill coyotes or woodchucks at 200 yds plus or if you really enjoy banging steel at extreme long range this is the gun for you I just got done shooting this beast at 200 yds in a pretty decent wind and my first group was a 1'' group or half MOA and my second group was a 1.7 inch group which is still sub moa at 200 yds!

Ok so here it is. I just got into PCP air guns. I shot powder guns and hunted from the time I could follow my dad around in the woods hunting squirrels Rabit Deer Etc. In my early 40's I just got tired of it one day and quit for whatever reason. I quit shooting all together till one day I ran into a video of the Air Venturi Avenger by accident. It took me about a year to talk myself into it but finally did it and now I'm excited to get back into this. But and a big but I'm not overall crazy about the Avenger it's a "tinker's gun" I'm not into that I already have a buyer in mind so there's no issue there but now I need to replace it. I'm looking for a rifle that can do it all without a lot of fuss. Whether its just a day of shooting off the bench or hunting I want something that just works. I was considering the FX Impact but I see a lot of mixed emotions out of what's supposed to be the best air rifle ever made. I know I want .25 cal thats for sure and I know I am only worried about pellets not slugs because I will never use it to shoot anything bigger then a squirrel. I think $2500 will be my limit money wise want to see what the experienced experts say. Thanks.

Had today off from work - beautiful day in mid 70s (!) in Connecticut - so I played …

I had created a “40 Yard Challenge” target card. Tried it with my RTI Prophet Performance V1 .22 LR - set a new personal best.

My Prophet .22 was tuned for 100 yards - shooting 25.4g MRDs at 912fps.

Since its shooting so well, I didn’t want to touch the tune, but I had a new (to me) .30 cal barrel and Huma Mod 40 moderator in .30 that I was dying to try out on my Prophet…

… so I swapped barrels and pellet probes and shot my 1st .30 cal pellets with the Prophet. The 1st 2 groups were at 40 yards and the next 3 groups were at 50 - all were 1/2” or less ctc - some were really tight! Using FX (JSB) 44.8g pellets.

To my surprise, when I chronoed the 44.8g pellets they were going 850.2 fps…

I thought they would be going much slower.

In .22 cal it was shooting 25.4g @ 912fps = 47 ft/lbs.

In .30 cal (changing only barrel and pellet probe) it shoots 44.8g @ 850fps = 72 ft/lbs.

So it seems .30 cal is much more efficient than .22 - in that I gained 25ft/lbs of energy simply by swapping from .22 to .30 - leaving hammer spring and regulator exactly the same.

Does this sound correct ?

I have a FX Maverick .25 caliber. I was wondering how close to your regulator pressure do you let your air bottle pressure to drop before you notice reduced velocities?

My 2nd regulator is set for 135 bar. the upper pressure is 155 bar.. I have been refilling at 200 bar. Should I shoot until I get closer to 155 bar?

I have been curious about this new model in the past couple weeks. I also am very aware that this model looks just like a similar makers model here in the US- Cough, cough, EVOL. Anyways, just to pass along info I received, here is the makers response to my inquiry below-------

-Price will depend on the configuration since there will be a huge amount of different accessories and possible setups. But I think that it should be around 1800 euros for the basic setup. You have to see the rifle personally to see the quality and everything which we are doing completely different from the others.

A couple of days ago I placed a WTB ad for a Hammerli CR20 (hard to find) here and on a few other airgun sites. I was contacted on Target Talk by someone who had one for sale. He sent me a three pics and he even put my username and date on them. We agreed on a price and I was planning on getting a m.o. out today.

This morning, during my daily classified search/coffee time, I got another potential seller contact (again on Target Talk). It struck me a little odd to find two CR20s so quickly, but it is a site oriented to target guns. So I thought I’d get some pics and see how much he wants for it. Usually I’m cautious, but I admit I got caught up with finding what I was looking for that I neglected to do my due diligence. After scrutinizing the first scammers photo, the piece of paper with my user name and date does appear photo shopped.

I have this Airhog guppy that is leaking where the valve seats with the tank. I've drained the air but before I go cranking on things I thought I would reach out for advice on how to remove the valve and then what will I need to re-seal it?

I just received an Umarex Origin in 25 caliber. I have a Barska 4x32 airgun scope to go on it. Tube diameter is one inch. Picatinny/dovetail combo rail. The problem I have is trying to figure out the height I need on the rings to attach the scope to the air rifle. Which has an 8 shot clip.
So my question is. Do I need low, medium, or high rings?
