PCP Rifle  SOLD FX wildcat BT Mark 3 25 caliber high power with upgrades

FX wildcat BT Mark 3 in 25 caliber. 600 mm barrel. Tuned to h&n heavies 38 grain slugs. Very explosive on impact to say the least. Includes slug liner and pellet liner, slug liner currently installed. Electronic gauge. Also a slug power kit which includes a heavier hammer and pin probe already installed. Bullet Central tensioner and carbon fiber shroud, also with a carbon fiber sleeve installed over the liner. Very rigid and reduces a ton of the harmonics for an easy tune. Double mag holder as seen on the side of the gun. 580 CC carbon fiber bottle. From what I've seen I'm getting two and a half mags which is 40 shots before it falls off the regulator. The gun from what I can see is absolutely flawless, if there was a scratch I would absolutely list it. The only thing that has been marred is the aftermarket knurled cocking lever is cut out on the inside where it is next to the gun so it was easier to grab without taking my hand off the grip to load around. It will also come with the original cocking lever if you don't want this. It comes with a donny fl FX suppressor, it has a very small aea label on it. I've tried my Donny Ronin and Shogun and the suppressor being much smaller quiets just as much as those much larger suppressors. If a gun is tuned correctly it doesn't spew extra air and therefore doesn't need the extra large suppressors to make it quieter. This gun at 80 ft lb is so close to just as quiet as my FX crown shoots at 45 ft. lb. Comes with four FX mags. Does not include saber tactical bottle clamp, bipod or scope/rings. $1,650 will include goods and services PayPal fees and shipping to your door.

FX Panthera TUNING GUIDE (25.4gr Tune Video)

Hey guys, here is a video describing how the tuning on the FX Panthera works...and thanks AGN members for the help with understanding this gun! Thanks for watching! -Nate

__________________________________________________________________________________________

WARNING: This thread turned into an absolute Horror Show of Drama (in a bad way). For your own mental health: Do not read the rest of this thread, just enjoy this short video!

A risky bet…. Let’s see what happens.

I just applied for this FX Panthera .25 Cal.

A 580 cc bottle in the front and a 300 cc bottle in the rear.

Fingers crossed !!!

Apparently there are two alternatives:

a) a super accurate rifle with a lot of shots per fill; or

b) the acquisition of a bag of problems after paying a lot of money.

I will report the result, even if it was a super big mistake.

What a disservice "EdgunLeshiy" does for the airgun community time and time again.

This guy was the same guy who posted the controversial video using a human dummy in one of his videos.

Imagine what kind of sick human being you have to be to set up a pedestal to mutilate an animal for pleasure? Im no hippie, I have permissions and am pro hunting, but this guy shares a lot of similarities with Jeffrey Dahmer, he too started his psychotic career with the mutilation of animals for pleasure.

You don't have to agree with me , thats ok, this is just an opinion

***MODERATOR EDIT***

Video removed for SELF DEFENSE connection.

I recrown my Bantam .177 non regulated and now it shoots pellets and slugs really well.

Since I bought this rifle some years ago I was not really comfortable with the accuracy.

Last night I thought: What can I do for that rifle to make it more accurate?...... Then I remember I had not recrown it yet.

First thing in the morning went to my studio, took the Bantam unscrew the shroud and the tip that holds the shroud in place and recrown it.

Went shooting and immediately notice that with the JSB 8.4 grain the accuracy was really good. Then I load a magazine with NSA slugs ..... Perfectly accurate also !!!

I just shot to 70 yards, but at that distance now that small rifle is pefectly functional !!

Another medal for the drill and the magic recrowning tip !!

6K Nitrogen tank rental info I just found out.

Hello
My little CS-3 broke the other day and I have been asking here about compressors and not the cheap stuff. I have had some good input but I also entertained the idea of a 6K Nitrogen tank setup. So I called a local welding supply store here in OK. They said they would check on pricing and get back to me. WOW!!!!! NOT happening at all.
Bottle rental is $2.80/day (1,022/year)
Content pricing $120 per fill
Does not cover delivery or filling/exchange charge.

Plus one time cost of regulator 300-500 at least.

So basically I will save up for the Coltri or Airtex.

I thought it was worth checking out since I'd seen some people's threads on how affordable it was except for the reg price but not around NW OK. Now maybe a national supply store might have better deals but they require info to run credit check and personal info and I am not going to give them that for a stupid bottle rental. This company requires that the "account" be open first before the will check on pricing so I'm out on that company.

Thanks
Jon

HW100 Sporter .22 stock vs HW100 .22 Thumbhole stock

Looking for opinions on the HW100 Sporter Stock vs Thumbhole Stock version.
Pluses and Minuses for either?
My current arsenal has the more traditional stocked airguns and I have been intrigued about whether a thumbhole stock offers any benefits for shooting accuracy over the standard stock.
I'll be purchasing one of these in the near future and am seeking guidance.

AA Field 8.4 grain at 50 Yards (TX200 MKIII)

In a previous video I looked at the performance of other pellets such as AA 10.3 Field Heavy at 50-yards. This video checks out the AA Field Diablo 8.4 grain pellets at 50-yards. These are 4.52mm head sorted to 8.4 grains.

There was some wind at times. There was also a biting fly attack which messed with me while shooting target 1. It is noted in the time log. I didn't edit anything out as it seems only fair to take real word events into account. Besides it was a bot funny.

The sighter target has 5 shots for those who prefer 5 shot groups. Target 1 has 12 shots with 2 flyers. One flyers was the opening shot and the second flyer was following the bug attack. It hurt BTW. Target 2 is a standard 10 shot bull.

I am using my TX200 MKIII in .177 (FAC) which was recently rebuilt with standard AA FAC parts. There is an addition of a 3MM washer in front of the top hat. This washer is supposed to help smooth out the shot cycle when using heavier pellets. I think it helps, but it could be a placebo. I have a Vortex Diamondback Tactical ffp 6x24 50mm scope. I am shooting from a bench using an Allen rest with a Protektor front and rear bag. I

JTS Brawn

The JTS .25 caliber Brawn bullpup was announced at the 2023 Shot Show, with a suggested retail of $499. Does anyone know when this will be released in the wild; and what the street price may be?

TX200 MKIII at 50-Yards with AA 8.4 Diabolo

I posted some work with the AA 10.3's previously. I don't shoot 8.4 grain as often but they do pretty well. Here is a video using my TX200 MKIII in .177 (FAC) after being rebuilt with standard AA FAC parts. There is an addition of a 3MM washer in front of the top hat. This washer is supposed to help smooth out the shot cycle when using heavier pellets. I think it helps, but it could be a placebo.

I am running a Vortex Diamondback Tactical ffp 6x24 50mm scope. I am shooting from a bench using an Allen rest with a Protektor front and rear bag. This video checks out the AA Field Diablo 8.4 grain pellets at 50 yards. These are 4.52mm head sorted to 8.4 grains. There was some wind at times. There was also a biting fly attack, which messed with me while shooting target 1. I didn't delete nor make excuses. The video does have a time log and it is noted in the time log. There are 3 bulls. The sighter target has 5 shots for the 5 shot crew. Target 1 has 12 shots as I threw one and felt 1 needed a redo do to the attack. One is an opening flyer, and the second flyer following the bug attack. Target 2 is a standard 10 shot bull.

Fill multiple guns without dumping the air from your large water trap/filter each time

This is an update to some older posts of mine with new information about the defective bleed valve on the small Tuxing filter with the shutoff valve on it. If you buy this part, be sure to replace the bleed valve assembly with a better built bleed valve so as to not have a dangerous situation where the bleed screw can shoot out of the fitting under pressure like mine did.

If you want to be able to keep remove a filled gun from the fill whip without having to dump all the air in your water trap / filter just add these inexpensive components and you are good to go.

6000 PSI needle valve for $15 on Amazon

Intall this just before the shutoff valve as shown in the diagram.

Several other options out there but this was the least expensive I found and it was rated at 6000 psi. It has been working well for many months. Something with a lever handle would be easier to turn off.

One way foster fittings are about $8.
Just add the appropriate quick connector to install where shown on the diagram. I ended up with a male to male to match my hoses.

The small Tuxing silver water trap with a bleed valve is $26.xx with a whip on Aliexpress. $39 without a whip on Amazon. Installed at the very and of the line as shown on the diagram. The bleed valve on mine FAILED and was fired into my hand with significant force. Be sure to replace it for your own safety, or use something else for a bleed valve.

Diagram of where everything goes.

1689860895647.png

As noted above, be sure to replace the defective bleed valve on the silver Tuxing filter with something like this. I think that mine ended up being M10 but you never know what you are going to get from stuff off Aliexpress. Check it first.

Link to the part on eBay.

1687961983989.png

With all those items in place you can remove guns / tanks from the setup without losing pressure in your water trap AND restart your compressor with no load on it, saving quite a bit of time when filling multiple items in a row vs bleeding out the water trap every time. My double tube water trap takes longer to fill than most of my guns! Now there is no more waiting for it to fill.

Disclaimer: This post is for informational purposes only. Use these parts and instructions at your own risk. I am not stating that this is known to be a safe setup or parts. Working with high pressure air / HPA is potentially lethal. You are ultimately responsible to make sure everything is properly configured and you are using safety precautions.

AEA Challenger pro problem

Hey guys. I have an odd problem which I have never experienced on any of my rifles and I need some help. If anyone had the same problem or if they now what it could be please chime in.

Backstory:
A friend purchased his first PCP (AEA Challenger Pro .22) and he wanted to make a nice photo of it. He put it on a fireplace mantle and of course the gun fell on the floor.
The damage he did (or at least that I can see) is that the barrel is bent downwards. No big deal as I've printed him a barrel band to center the barrel.
Everything else seems fine except the power. When the gun first came the reg was set to 90. His rifle is the new model with an external adjustable regulator. As the manual still shows the old rifle he didn't want to tinker and brought the gun to me to fix and check. Well the gun spews bullets. They reach maybe 4fpe on a good day with 300fps. So something is wrong.

What I did:
I tested the gun with my chrono (yes it does work properly) and it's true. You can see the slow ass bullet when it gets shot and the gun is quiet. No bark as some people mentioned.
I turned the reg from 90 to 130 and all the way up to 150 and there are minor changes to speeds (maybe 50fps). I changed the springs and the result is the same. So it doesn't matter if I use the hard (orange-ish) or soft (black) spring. Transfer port is on max by the way but I have tested it on all settings with same result.

Then I tore the gun apart and checked everything and I do mean everything (well I didn't open the reg as the reg gauge shows the proper number based on two different gauges so the plenum should have the proper amount of air). I even swapped out the gauges in case they got damaged. I can't find anything wrong with it.
The only thing I did find out is that the gun is so weak I can plug the barrel and the air won't come out of it and it will blast backwards that's how weak the gun is. I wouldn't do that on any of my rifles but there's clearly something I'm missing.

I have shot a few blanks to see if the air is leaking somewhere else but it's not. At least I can't find it. Also all the orings are in perfect condition (duh since the doofus broke a day old gun).

So if anyone has some insight please help.

Thanks and have a great day.

What cam to analyze the tune?

Pretty much I would not need it for anything else.
Only to see if my pellets/slugs flying error free from the tune = no corkscrewing. So pretty much "one time use".
So far I could not justify spending $500+ for the rig, but also I stoped my club membership and have no longer access to multiple distance ranges to check the tune on every 5 meters if hits the same X.
Anything inexpensive cam on horison that can do slow mo in quality?
