Umarex  Notos pellet probe

I thought for sure some one with there machine shop would make a better pellet probe for the Notos 22??? I put some heat shrink tube on mine and it helps a lot with the pellet sliding in the barrel,,,,
Has anyone put a bevel on the barrel, Where the edges are not so sharp??? Seems like that might fix the problem of the pellet twisting ?? I will have a spare notos barrel in a week or two , I might try it .....
Everybody warned me about the Notos money pit , But its fun to work on and the big key is LEARN...Funny you buy a 2000 or well over gun and a few videos come out .
This cheap 250 dollar gun and there is 500 videos showing you how to tear it down build it up and screw it up just crazy...Lots of after market parts , Some just took the China hit.

AEA  AEA Threaded fill probe and Femal Foster Fitting compatibility

I am having some issues with my Fill Probe. Seems most of my Female Foster fittings are not compatible with the fill probe male end. Most leak when connected (i.e. don't form a proper seal) I have one that works for now, but need to get a couple more.

Anyone else have this issue ir can recommend where to get proper female quick disconnect fittings that are compatible with the AEA male end.

I have read a few posts suggesting there are several "standards" or lack there of so not all fittings are compatible with others. Very frustrating.

Mike,

Umarex  Question about Zelos

I remain very impressed with the power and accuracy of my .25 Zelos. The accuracy is simply insane. Rodents on my property would agree if they could.

The only "con" for me is the form factor. The bullpup design poses some challenges for ergonomics and sight plane.

A couple of questions about this rifle:

1) (No, I have not experimented with this) Is it possible to load two pellets into the chamber, or does having one pellet in the chamber, or if the rifle is in a "cocked" state, is it impossible to feed another pellet?

2) My main "con" about this rifle is the distance between the bore axis and the sighting axis of my scope. I note that for close shooting, I have to dial in a huge amount of elevation, which then puts my scope adjustment near the end of adjustability. I am currently using a zero degree offset picatinny rail.

What is a better mounting solution? 30minute offset? Other?

3) Does a pressurized dry fire of this gun cause damage?

Thanks,

Frank

Tuxing and Vevor from same factory?

So I finally bought a new compressor a year after my first one and I noticed right away that the tags are exactly the same and the Vevor I bought direct from their website and this texting I bought from AliExpress.
Curious is anyone knows more about their manufacturing cuz if all these cheap compressors r made in same factory I will get the best price one instead of paying more for a more well-known name.

EDgun  ❗️Used Edgun Leshiy Classics up on AoA ❗️

No clue if this is the proper place to post this, but just wanted to give people a heads up that (at the time of posting this), that there are 4 Edgun Leshiy Classics posted for sale at Airguns of Arizona. All varying prices and 3 in "Good" condition 1 in "Very Good" condition, meaning scratches/markings on them BUT do not let that deter you if you've always wanted one. Edguns, especially the Classic are built to last and nicks and dings wont stop that.

My Classic that I have recently bought off a member here, shoots like a dream and the lightest trigger on an airgun I've ever fired thus far

PCP Rifle  SOLD MAC 1 - USFT HUNTER unregulated tube gun. ... $ 1,700

I have a few year old barely used MAC 1 - USFT Hunter version, ( straight grip, as opposed to the canted one ) , unregulated tube gun for sale. It is 177 cal, currently shooting 12 fpe, but can easily be pushed to 20 fpe with additional hammer weight screws and more tension on hammer spring. In like new condition with only small marks from use. It shoots nickel sized groups with 10.3 , 8.4 and 7.9 jsb pellets at 55 yards. No issues, holds air forever, as witnessed by the 1400 psi holding on the pressure gauge for 6 months in the gun safe. It is unregulated and I fill to 1400 psi and shoot it down to 1100 psi, ( a whole 60 shot match ).

Shipping and insurance are on you. I live in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Carette 2 help needed

I need help with a Carette 2 compressor. I broke the original electronic control (overtightened trying to stop an air leak). The replacement controller is a totally new unit. Different circuit board, different color coded wiring and a new threaded electrical connection between the controller and the electrical junction box. The net result, I cannot figure out how to connect the wiring.
If anyone has a Carette 2 with the threaded connection in the wiring would you please let me know how your electrical junction box is wired up? A picture or two would be a huge help.
Thanks.

HW/Weihrauch  Aperture disks...

Here's diopters from the early mid '50's, (maybe a second pattern Weihrauch version?), and from the mid '50's to modern times. Note how the disks get smaller, and less sophisticated with time: the knurling on rim changes, disk gets smaller, cross hatching to decrease glare changes or is deleted (I guess rubber hoods become common?).
I've seen schützen rifles from 19th century where the disk is has even larger diameter...
Yup, really trivia here!

HW/Weihrauch  Walnut HW95 ??? What gives ???

I received an Email from AOA this morning announcing a walnut edition HW95. I clicked the link right away. I'd already ordered a lefty HW30 walnut, I thought that I'd consider a walnut 95 to boot. However, whereas the walnut HW30 has a very stylish, "custom look" stock, the walnut 95 is the standard pattern stock in walnut. Sorry guys, that doesn't really excite me very much. Wondering why they went in that direction on the 95 and in the other direction on the 30...
