I know of two pb gun manufacturers that send a test target with their guns...Anschutz and Cooper. I just wonder if any of the airgun makers do the same? I have two Anschutz rimfire rifles and they came with a test target.

Have been shooting the usft for a bit and it is a hell of a rifle, but the feeling is something different. I have a small, but growing, collection of Theoben style rifles and I always enjoy them. So it got me thinking.......which would be better? Assuming caliber and fps are the same...would thr usft or an hm1000 be better for field target?

I know the usft is stupid simple to work on, where as the hm1000 is just as simple and I have done it plenty before.

The stock options for the hm1000 are greater.....as there is no stock on the usft.

Just looking for some ideas or anything from people who have shot both....

Keeping going round and round with rifles...can't seem to keep one around for long.

I have been doing this a long time and have had well over 30 different pcps at throughout my hobby. I have seen alot learned a lot and have my favorites and keepers. What I am looking for next needs to check a few boxes and need a little help figuring it out. As some of you may know I work for DNT Optics and am the airgun guy on the US staff and probably have spoke to some of you. With this next purchase I need whisper quiet so I can test and practice all hours, no reg creep or something that does well on 1sr shot after sitting, holds zero, can be .177 or .22 ane honestly a sub12 option is fine I actually enjoy low power (also full power options are welcome as well because I want to have options to give my team as well) Needs to have a rail of some sort as all shooting will be done from a bench tripod or field tripod. All ideas are welcome and I will include a picture of what I currently have. As always thank you to the community I have the most respect for.

posting my Mutant short in 22. had it for about 2 or 3 months now but do not use it much. i use the hades at 840FPS. the mutant is super quiet for its compact size. comes with the fill probe and single shot tray. im looking for something compact in 177 or 22 caliber. not really looking to sell just yet. no springers please. let me know what you have and are willing to trade for it. the should could use some work since it looks like the previous owner touched it up. if you want more pictures just let me know.

Great glass. Nice clicky turrets. Vortex rubber flip-up scope caps, throw lever on power adjustment. I've sold a couple guns, and have some extra scopes. I had this on my Taipan .25 Long, that I just sold.

So while shooting cicadas this morning (since they are in full swing here) I had some pellets fall backwards into the action. At first I thought that they were falling into the grass but when the cocking lever jammed I realized they were going backwards down into the hammer (I guess that's the terminology). Now they seem to be smashed down in the slot in the pic where the Allen wrench is pointing. Any thoughts? What's the best way of depressurizing or am I ok to continue. Can't seem to get any further than this. So for anyone else reading this never tilt the gun in a upward position while single shot tray loading.

Nice little gun shoots fantastic And it is very accurate. We tested a few different pallets and some slugs.
It did shoot slugs well, although it can be a bit of a pain in the ass with the magazines Being a bit loose.
The 15, 16 and 20 grain slugs stayed in the magazine the best.
we tested each magazine and they rotate and feed as they should.
there is 3 factory magazines, and 3 Eagle vision magazines, original box, stickers, and a I don’t know maybe a proof of purchase card?

I am trying to get a Boss to seal. The air pours out the transfer port any attempt to fill. Like there is nothing between the regulator and the barrel.

I know we can , and will spend whatever it takes sometimes but I was in a hurry , and did not have a pull through like a bore snake , or a patchworm , so I grabbed some weed eater line , and folded that in half , and it worked really good. I pulled the first patch through my new ZELOS , and like Nate said pasty bro. So yeah while I'm waiting for the bore snake to arrive

Has anyone else made it into super short 5" ? I miss the full power but its worth the sacrifice to me for such convenience carrying it around or bring it along with you anywhere. It will do about 55FPE at the start of max power.
Only 7-10 shots on a high power. Or a full mag around 30FPE

This tripod (National Geographic) that I got almost a couple years ago is only $45 on Amazon! They've been as high as $165. It's very solid, stable & reliable. Originally I had a saddle clamp on it for my rifles but attached mounting plate directly to my new (to me) r3 long slugger. A few other people here have recently bought at higher price and are very satisfied.

Say I have a Gun with 2 fill ports. 1 at the end of the Air Tube and 1 past the air tube in the breech area.
Let's say it has a Regulator in the air tube.
Now IF I was to attach a regulated air tank to that forward fill port at the regulator fill pressure?
Is that a dumb thought or could there be benefits like less air used in the air tube itself?

when it is standing upright.....Sometimes I do not have time to search for my scope covers ....what to do, I see an old sock,I cut it to fit, turn it inside out so it doesn't shed lint and there you go a cheap temporary lens cover
