Diana  Looks like my Diana 35 needs some TLC...

I grabbed my old, 1970 Diana model 35 out of the safe last night and sat down at the bench with it for a while. I couldn't get it to stay on zero no matter what I tried. I was beginning to think that the cheap, CVLife scope had bit the dust, but I ran it over the chrono just to satisfy my curiosity. I think I've found the problem. 🤣 Just check out the chrono string below. Look at that velocity spread! Pretty sure it's got a broken mainspring along with a bad piston seal. She's goin' on the bench soon. Possibly as soon as tomorrow.

Rats Shoot With Air Arm S510 .177 Cal low power

I got the replacement o-rings for my Air Arm S510 .177 cal earlier than expected so I jumped to the opportunity to set it up for the indoor rats shoot right away.

I paired it with the Pard008 LRF and it was a deadly combination where I was able to tag 10 unlucky rats with 10 pellets. A perfect outing for me to remember and proud of.

The gun was zeroed for 15 yards and I did POA for 5 - 20 yards to figure out my hold over/under. After a few minutes of POI confirmation, I was ready to hunt some rats for the night. Unfortunately, I had forgotten the SD card for my Pard008 LRF as I left it in my computer loading port. I guess I was too excited and eager to go down to the farm that night. Since I was already down at the farm, I decided to just shoot and do some pest control without any videos capturing.

5 rats were quickly disposed of ranging from 12 - 18 yards. I was also using my OneLeaf NV100 scope as a handheld to scan the area and I realized that it has a SD card in it. So I was lucky in a sense and loaded it into my Pard008 LRF. I was then able to record the next 5 rats kill shots with two amazing shots at two rats up on the rafter, 18 feet high and 25 yards away. Two perfectly placed shot to the head/neck and dropped them like a brick. I was very proud of myself indeed.

This low power 12 ft.lb air rifle is a joy to shoot and I am glad to be able to use it for this indoor shoot.

Enjoy.

offset picatinny mount on dovetail

Have a Stoeger s4000-e, no scope (don't want), dovetail of course. Been looking for a green dot laser/optic sight that would be offset (~45 degrees) so that I can continue to also use the open fiber optic sights.
Can't find anywhere.
Also acceptable would be a picatinny adapter offset that mounts on the dovetail.

Thanks,

Jimmy

Daystate  AZ tuned Daystate LR90 help needed.

Daystate LR90 started leaking out the barrel.

Anyone have any idea how you split the reg/plenum from the valve? I tried clamping between wood blocks and using a wrench in the flats on the reg. Didn’t budge.

It was built by AZ. I would love to go back to non regulated. Can I just remove it?

Also, any id on the reg? Is it a Lang?

Rest of the rifle if anyone wants to see pictures. I think Don Walker at Beeman was the one to originally do the mating of the LR90 to the FWB stock back in the day. AZ tuned and regulated it around 2015-2016. I added the lead to the stock when I got it.

DonnyFL Customer Service Rocks

So I ordered a Yokozuna in .30 from High Preasure Pneumatics and they accidently sent me one in .357. I reached to their customer service 4 days ago and never heard anything. In the interim, I reached out to DonnyFL. Hoan Nguyen (operations manager at Donny FL) reached out to me within two hours and arranged to have the correct moderator sent out to me the same day. I repeat, the same day! I didn’t even buy it from them directly, but they still went out of their way to take care of me. I was blown away by their customer service. I got my moderator two days later and they even put a hand written note in their apologizing for the mix up. All of that to say they have made me a loyal customer now. Just wanted to share my experience!
