Just when you think the Leshiy 2 can't get any meaner...!!

It has just come to my attention that the Leshiy 2 by Edgun now comes in a new caliber - .35 cal or 9 mm!
Now, those of you who watch my YouTube videos or follow me on the Instagram know that I shoot pest birds and invasive birds mostly, so 9 mm may sound like overkill... ;)
But I just couldn't resist the temptation to find out for myself what it feels like to shoot a high-end semiauto in this caliber.
I hope my wife is not reading my posts in the forum
European YouTube video coming soon!

The Hugh Hefner of airguns

Few here don't recall those wonderful Beeman catalogs from the 80s and 90s. Dr. Beeman lured us all into this illustrious hobby with them. He was an evil genius when it came to marketing his product line.
I was looking through a couple of his old catalogs and found them to be amazingly enticing even today....except no way to just pick up an order form and buy one. Sighhhhhh!
Here's a few airgun pic shots from the old docs issues.

How far does a pellet travel after pass thru

I know there are alot of variables that go into this, but let's just say I'm running a .22 cal going 900 fps with a standard crosman 14.3.

If I shoot a squirrel in the head at 40 yards, how much energy roughly would the pellet still have after going through and coming out?

I hit a squirrel in the vitals with a H&N terminator 16.36 grain doing about 20 fpe, distance was 15 yards, and it passed through and hit my neighbor's burn barrel and left a dent. The impact of the pellet on the squirrel was heard, then a second of delay, then hit the barrel which was about 20 yards past the squirrel.

My reason for asking, is if shooting in a residential area, I always aim high so if I miss or pass thru, the pellet hopefully drops with little to no energy.

I've used chair gun app to give me drop and drift on some of this, and even at 250 yards, you're n the 1 fpe range when the pellet would come back down to about ground level if shot at a 30° angle or so. That's on a free flight pellet, not having spent any energy on Mr. Squirrel.

Strange problem M3 .30 Sniper

I bought a brand new FX Impact M3 .30 Sniper. I knew I was going to shoot some heavy slugs, so I ordered the Heavy liner, carbon sleeve and tensioner (and now I am waiting for a tungsten hammer). I installed the parts, got the slugs and went shooting. I started calibrating and setting up the rifle, and after finding the right tune, I noticed I can't make a normal group. The shots were going everywhere!
The slugs I got are 62 grain (4 grams).
After 40 shots, I noticed something strange - When I open the stock moderator of the FX, a lot of lead debris fall out. I started questioning the slugs. Tried measuring them, and at the base they were 7.63 (instead of 7.62). I don't know if this is normal.
A friend of mine is using the exact same setup, the exact same slugs, but there are no debris falling from his moderator, and his shots are a bit better than mine.
Should I change the slugs, or am I doing something wrong? These are my first experiences with an FX rifle.

By the time I was 29

I had an El Gamo Cadet, BSA Mercury S, 1919 BSA LIght pattern, Beeman R 10, R7, HW55, HW70, and a Theoben Sirocco.
I still have all but the R10. And many more
Gamo was called El Gamo back then. I bought the cheap Cadet at a department store to see what springers were about. I think I was 24. Or 23?
I didn’t even know anybody else that had soringers.

Awesome rifle that shoots X’s like crazy. Once I got the right pellet and the right FPS dialed in, it was game on. This gun is a winner. All that said , my OCD has been triggered ( no pun intended). I am letting this rifle go so that I can enjoy the other air rifles that are FUN to me.

After an extremely disappointing airgun weekend ... the used huben .25 makes me smile.

Being asked to shoot for a store regardless of whether or not it's for fun really puts the pressure on and I have been feeling it with how busy my life has been especially at short notice too. On top of that one of the rifles I purchased didn't live up to what my expectations were based on specs and others reviews , I still am waiting for one of the rifles I'm supposed to use, anddddd I purchased another rifle and it couldn't hold air lol (that will be sorted tomorrow)

So I decided to clean both my hubens, took the .25 out to 100 yards and dumped 17 rounds at 67 fpe with 33.95 pellets , 14 in that one hole. I am so happy I have a huben in each caliber lol 😆

Also my airacuda max is still not disappointing either!

Anyways I hope you guys had a great weekend, all in all I'm just bitching and life ain't that bad, also I'm impressed with this group in some light winds so I'm tooting my own horn, toot toot.

What's your favorite Bullpup in .25 or.22 ?

I'm looking to get a bullpup in .25 or .22 I prefer .25. What are recommendations and experiences ? I would be hunting small game . I do shoot a lot at 50+ yards , but sometimes closer . I am concerned with accuracy and I would like a decent amount of power . I have a lower powered .22 for really small pests and indoor use and a modded .357 with plenty of knock down for big stuff. Price isn't a huge issue. Thanks in advance
