Daystate Super Leggero Arrives…

My Daystate Super Leggero arrived today and?? Wow what a solid machine. Having watched the video at AOA at least four times. I simply added oil. Plugged it in and got to filling my 60 minute SCBA from 3000 to 4500 PSI in 22 minutes. Excluding a one minute warm up and one minute to equalize pressure in the fill hose. It is a compact and elegant piece of equipment. I am but a casual plinking/pesting type of shooter. So am sure this compressor is overkill for my needs. That written, I wanted a no hassle, reliable, trustworthy, HPA compressor. Love how easy it is to move around and it is quiet enough to use indoors

Am aware of the other, adequate HPA compressors for sale. I just want my “second” HPA compressor to be my last. I believe if I chose to “gasp!” get out of air gunning I could easily sell this beastie because its built for the long haul. I will post up my user impressions over time. My justification on the price? Heck, two of my PCPs each costs as much, once kitted out. Then I add my other two PCPs and it was a no brainer for me. Simply spending the same amount on a quality HPA became relative…🤓 I suspected that my four PCPs and two SCBAs will be taking on HP “airs” going forward… Airguns of Arizona was simply stellar to deal with and they back the product all the way. That and the fact, that 🇧🇬Coltri and 🇬🇧Daystate are well known established manufacturers of fine equipment. Simply seal the deal for me… Now hopefully my wife will let me live to enjoy it…🫣

HW/Weihrauch  I have my HW50 tuned great,at first I hated it because it did not perform the way people were bragging about it.

I knew it had a great trigger, but it was a rough firing,I had to put at least 1000pellets before it started to calm down.I then put a AH tune kit in it and it was the way it should have been, all good now...light accurate springer.Shooting JSB Exact heavy 10.34 good pellet for mine.
I got done shooting it and grabbed my R-9.20. Wow, so much heavier, I had some old gold can JSB Exact Match Diabolo 0.890gr. I was wondering why so light, anyhow my R-9 loved them .Shooting at 28 yds I was getting all touching, less than 1/2" about ten shoots....My thoughts are that the accuracy was because of the weight of the R-9. Solid, the .20 is a great caliber...I also have a AH tune kit in it.Bought it in 2008 btw The old cocking shoe broke and I installed the new one, they are so much better.

FX  FX Maverick 30

I am new to the Maverick /PCP in general. I have 700 and currently running 44.75 gr JSB. Apparently, the Maverick I bought has a FX slug kit installed by the original owner. I can shoot 44.75 at 75 yards with a group at 8.6mm. I tried to put some 45gr Zan HP slugs in for giggles and the 1st one didn't seem to want to go in almost like it was stuck. I kind of tapped or jiggled it and it went in. I shot and it didn't seem to hit the target. (Later found out it shot high) Next slug went smooth hit target with minimal poi shift. Next few slugs had the same issue with not wanting to feed. It was like they were slightly larger or something. I have seen a video where they talk about the pin probe getting stuck on the mag so maybe this is the issue. Somone else suggested could be rough edges. Was hoping to get some input or somethings to check. I'd like to shoot a heavier slug around 54-60ish with as much fps as possible for yotes but still remain accurate chrono should be here today to be able to check the tune properly but doesn't do anything if the slugs feel this hard to load. Where should I start pellet sizer, tear it down, check mag etc.

Optics  SOLD Discovery 2-12x24FFP MPVO $120 shipped W/rings

Selling my discovery HD2-12x24SFIR

Small Medium Power Variable Optic scope, first focal plane with a side parallax adjustment.

It is a scope with perfect tracking, holds zero, performs well. Only negative, illumination is useless past x6 magnification. Bleeds A bit if your eye isn’t in perfect alignment in the eye box.

I’m selling for two reasons
1. I have a new scope on the way
2. The eye box is picky.

Min parallax is 5 yards, yes it does focus.
1/10 MRAD adjustments.
weighs 17oz.

I have used this scope to great effect, I just needed higher magnification and something more forgiving on my astigmatic crap eyes.

Originally picked this up for $200

I’m asking $120 shipped with a set of $35 30mm discovery picatinny rings. If you require dovetail rings, I can substitute those in place of the pic rings.

Optics  SOLD WTT/WTS Tract Toric

I just got this for PRS and do to back problems again I am getting out of all PRS. It will come with the MDT rings and Vortex scope level. I am starting to shoot 22lr f class and benchrest and need quality SFP scope that's made for that game. I would like to trade for a Sightron S3 series, high magnification moa target dot reticle or something similar in quality. I would sell my scope for 1,000 with shipping in conus. It has one scratch on elevation turret and was mounted and shot one match with it.

Hello!

Newbie to the Airgun world. Been an avid hunter/shooter all my life but never owned a quality air rifle. Time to remedy that. Just joined this forum and have to say the information on here is staggering. I see hours of research in my future!

So far I think I’m headed for a PCP bullpup. Budget will be $1K-ish. Mostly target shooting and some backyard pest control. Would like something that will shoot well out of the box but could eventually be improved with some light tinkering….because I just can’t help myself.

I’ve started reading other discussions and posts but if there is any advice to shorten the search I would appreciate it.

Thnx

Other  father’s day stress shopping..

first off, HAPPY FATHER’s DAY FOR ALL THE NON-DEADBEAT DADS OUT HERE!

now for the good part…. i’m stressed the f out. wife is asking me to frame a 4’x4’ mirror on the garage wall and i have to clean up the garage to get to the wall.. but she’s offering to buy me a gun. any gun of my choice..
i need help.
i just hung out with @Smssibz yesterday and he was gracious enough to let me shoot his .22 brk ghost hp . awesome gun! i also watched him take down a bird at 125 and then another at 200+ yards! this validated my suspicion of .22 being my favorite caliber.
now, wife is putting me to work on father’s day.. hate it, but she’s willing to pay.
that ghost is REALLY nice! are there any other .22 guns you all would recommend that’s slug capable and quiet enough at 200 yards?
i’m looking at the slash but there really isn’t anything on the internet about it. utah air is releasing them on the 18th.. hopefully someone puts out an honest review of it soon.

they should send one to me for a very unbiased review! i’ll do it! i’ll even send it back after the review! @Utah-Airguns
