Karma Airguns guides Duck Dynasty Iguana Hunting in Puerto Rico!

Hey there airgunners,

We just got back from Puerto Rico where we filmed an episode of Duck Dynasty Revival with Willie and Korie Robertson. It was their anniversary trip and we brought the new Karma EQ along with the Karma SLS to help thin out the iguana population. We even got some range time in with the Karma Red Panda before the hunt.

The EQ in .25 turned out to be just right for the job. It had enough punch to drop the bigger ones clean but was still easy to handle when moving through thick brush. The balance was better than I expected. Most of the weight sits back so it stayed steady offhand without feeling like you were fighting the muzzle.

Korie got on a roll and was knocking iguanas out of the trees like she had been hunting them for years. Willie ended up with the biggest iguana of the trip and we had a good laugh about it back at camp.

Abner and the Puerto Rico Xtreme Outdoors crew made the hunt a lot easier. They were spotting iguanas high in the canopy that I never would have seen. Chris Turek, Karma’s brand representative, handled technical support for the rifles, kept the gear running, and provided brand support in the field. He also turned one of the iguanas into dinner for the Robertsons that night.

It was a fun hunt in tough terrain and the rifles did exactly what we needed them to do.

If you have hunted in spots like that with fast moving targets and thick cover, what is your go-to setup?

FX  Huma introduced a good trigger for mk2 and M3

I didn't test it yet but users say that it is as good as M4 trigger and some says, its better than M4 trigger.

AEA challlenger nova.177 loves seneca hunting pellets, whats everyone else using?

So I like to leave my unregulated guns on max power and try to find what's shoots the best starting from there, and of all things my 177 challlenger nova shoots the domed seneca hunting pellets the best, perfectly, and I've tried jsb 16gr pellets, zan 16gr slugs, nsa 15and 20gr, varmint knocker, Griffin, NSA was second place. I just had the occasional flyer leave the group. I was going to try a barrel band but it seems the nova has less gap between the shroud and air tube so the standard challlenger band lifted the barrel slightly and i didn't want to use it
Anyone else have a nova 177? What you use?

N/A  Which is more diminutive?

For those of you who own, or have handled BOTH an FX DRS Walnut and Daystate Huntsman Revere, which is smaller? I've handled/fired a Revere and to me it feels more like a 'youth' rifle than an 'adult' rifle. With regard to the stock dimensions, are these two rifles similar, or does one feel larger in the hand and on the shoulder than the other?

Thanks for a reply.

Snowpeak  Pinty Poppet

Had my Pinty Pup lose air a while back & it wouldn't take air. I dry burnished the poppet/valve & that fixed that problem. I went to shoot it yesterday & it was empty. Once again it just blew air out of the barrel & would not seal. I burnished it again today with valve compound & also polished the valve. No luck! I've tried everything I know including cocking the lever & loading 2 pellets in the barrel while filling but no go. I have an email off to Pinty, to send me another poppet but I heard they don't carry spare parts. Any other suggestions?

Todays Trifecta ... lazy sunday just watching the front yard for pests

Wife & I have a nice yard we spend countless hours maintaining. Tho living semi rural the critters seem to like it too. Holes get dug looking for worms & grubs etc ... non native plants get eaten & browsed on.
Now overall that is fine to a point when & where they become troublesome, and as we enter late summer they have been tearing up the house & yard pretty good.

So today I took random visual yard scans between relaxing and other too do's around the home .... As it would turn out in the 26 years we have lived here I've never had such a day :cautious:

Started about 9am, look out front and digging in landscape a Red / Fox squirrel ... ZAP !! one less.
Then 2pm or so find a very rare to see Ground Squirrel doing similar ... ZAP !! now even rarer.
Here about 2:45pm a pair of Jack Rabbits are all the way to house and in the flower beds munching away ... ZAP !! one hightails it off property, other stays for dinner :ROFLMAO:

Tree Rat, Ground Rat, Bugs .... Trifecta kinda day

N/A  Crooked Barn Pistol

Had this CB co2 pistol out today in the backyard.

I would post pistol / rifles like this on GTA with zero response. All the members would only comment on their pinty rifles and daisy model 25s. 😆

CB with RB grips blast from the past...if u were here back in 2005ish.

When airgunning was fun...sorry.

Rat Pest Control - Non Air Gun Style

Yup, a rare video of mine where I didn't and couldn't use my air rifles to dispatch rats with. I found out rats were coming and going at my plumb trees, stealing my fruits without paying. With the aid of my trail cam, I was able to confirm that I have rats problem on my property.

I am so used to doing free pest control work for farmers and now it was my time to take care of my own problem.

Since I couldn't use my air gun and I didn't want to use poison, I used the conventional way of catching rats - rat trap.
I mounted two traps on the tree branches where the rats move about and I used cheese as bait. But I later switched to peanut butter and had success catching these rats.

Watch and find out. Enjoy.

Corbin- 50 Years of Setting the Standard

Corbin: Over 50 Years of Setting the Standard

When you trace back the roots of modern airgun slugs, one name keeps popping up: Corbin. For over five decades, Corbin Manufacturing has been quietly shaping the ammunition industry — not just airguns, but firearms and beyond. From your favorite brands to the Army, Navy, CIA and beyond.

Built on Swaging, Not Stamping

Most of the market got started with punch presses and mass production. Corbin took a different path: swaging precision projectiles under controlled pressure. That difference in process is why our tooling has been trusted for accuracy, repeatability, and ballistic performance. And why today, swaging is still preferred by top shooters.

The First Call for PCP Manufacturers

It’s no secret — when many of today’s most respected PCP slug manufacturers were ready to get serious, their first call was to Corbin. Entire brands, entire product lines, launched off Corbin presses and dies. Even now, some of the most successful slugs being shot in competitions trace their origin back to our machines.

More Than Just Tools

For over 50 years, Corbin hasn’t just been a supplier. We’ve been a partner and problem-solver for ammunition makers across the world. From hand tools to automated hydraulic systems, our innovation set the benchmark for consistency — and it’s still the standard many others are chasing.

Why This Matters to Airgunners

As the airgun world continues to grow, precision matters more than ever. Ballistic coefficients, terminal performance, repeatability — these things don’t happen by accident. They happen because of the right design, the right material, and the right tooling. More often than not, that story begins with Corbin.

Air Gauges  SOLD Quality Gauges(Joe Brancato and Swagelock) and Fitting $25

I don't know what I was planning to do with these or what size the threads are. They're both top quality though. The Swagelock gauge does screw into the adapter below it in the picture and the JB guage screws into the side of the adapter(although that's not it's intended purpose). $25 plus shipping.

Paypal friends and family or add 4% to cover fees.

Heart/Lung thread

We all know and love the.long going "Head Shot Thread". A head shot doesn't always present itself as the best option. Show off your heart and lung punches.

I'll start

Chipper at 37y. Had been raiding the feeder and digging tunnels all over.the place. Waiting for him to present a shot all morning. Had him in the crosshairs around 9:50 but a chickadee alarm call sent him darting. Just about 10min ago I see him working down tbe berm from a tunnel entrance. Straight to the feeder. I hit him on his return trip. A tree trunk was in the way of the headshot so I chose thoracic treatment. You can see the peanuts and sunflower kernels he was carrying with him

Why does FX come out with so many different rifles ?

Curious as to why, it sames that they have different groups based to the same thing; is each new one better than the old one? Are most customers repeat customers just looking for a new toy? Are new customers going on good reviews? I am wondering because FX has so many new models coming out compared to other manufacturers.I do understand other manufactor come out with new models ,just not near as often.

N/A  Custom gun stocks.

I’m near the end of buying rifles. Have my springs. I’ve been sniffing around for custom stocks for quite some time now. With no luck. A year+ ago when the Pound and Euro fell I tried ordering 3 from Custom Stocks in the UK. Won’t ship over Canadian border, wood restrictions.
They make gorgeous stocks. I‘ve seen so many of yours. Super envious.
Today I e-mailed a few companies here, but they seem powder burners are their mission. 🙏
Does anyone know of gun stock manufacturers in Canada?
Need some jewellery on these babies. Crow

AEA  My gun oozes silicone oil sometimes

Every few days I'll notice a stream of silicone oil down half the length of its air tank. No drop in pressure that I can notice. I lube up the orings pretty good and coat the inside of the tanks. Out of all my pcps (about 10) this is the first time silicone oil has managed to get out of the tank. It's a aea megalodon. Has this happen to you before? Has to be a very very almost non existent slow leak? Because the pressure is at the same spot if not a tad higher.
