SOLD Tuned Baikal IZH 61 - open to offers

I’ve got this IZH 61 from Baikal. Discontinued now (Obama didn’t like imports from Russia especially when it comes from the same factory as the AK-47) and a needle in a haystack sort of find. I’m curious as to what people here would offer for it or if they’ll purchase it at the listed price. It’s got 2 clips each 5 shots. I measured out a seal for it and it’s producing factory level power. I plan on tuning it a second time for more power before selling…send offers. I’m trying to get it alike to an HW30 power output. U.S. only.

We’ll start with $200 shipped but looking for offers

SOLD Walther Reign .22

Looking to sell a barely used Walther Reign in .22 caliber. This rifle maybe has a half tin of pellets, probably less. I never spent a lot of time pellet testing so I’m not sure what it prefers. I picked this up for my boys to shoot but they lost interest. Overall condition is really good minus one small mark on the picatinny rail as shown and a really small mark on bottom of the handgrip area. The rifle will come with the original mag (only comes with one), newer probe with foster fitting, tools as it came, also I do have the original box with paperwork it’ll ship with, the Range Vise is not included. Sale within the USA only, PayPal preferred, and shipping via UPS Ground.

Broke my Maverick, again!

So I managed to break something, again. Half an hour after fixing my original problem (see my previous thread).

I decided to finally swap calibres/barrels, from my original .22 700 mm (28″), to .30 500 mm (20″). Replaced my hammer weight from my Huma-Air 13.2 gram to the 14.5 gram option from the same manufacturer. Also installed the higest-flow pellet probe, the Huma-Air pin probe.

So far, all good. Left the power I had last for the .22 - about 291 m/s (954 fps) at setting 7 with JSB Knockout .217, but dialed the power down to setting 5.

Loaded first slug (ZAN's, do not know the exact weight, but they are about the longest taht would work with a standard FX magazine). It took a lot more force than the .22, but I reassured myself that it was due to the much larger slug surface and resulting friction, as well as the minimal area the pin probe acts upon.

Fired (258 m/s, 846 fps), and again - same resistance when feeding the slug, slightly lower velocity.

So I switch to setting 7, cycle the action, and right at the end, when the slug is already out of the magazine but probably not quite clear of the transfer port, just before the cocking lever locks in the forward position, a loud POP right out from the action.

Otherwise, no indications of what went wrong - rear reg pressure held at preset value, when I took off the barrel expecting to see shredden remains of some seal or other, nothing. Everything seems fine, but I am too chicken to try again, because something is obviously not fine! Don't need the gun to go bye-bye, and even less do I need shrapnel from a critical failure to get cozy with my skull!

B.t.w. - does not neccessarily have to be related to the same problem, but upon removing the original probe, I was quite surprised to see the worn down surfaces, front & back of the transfer port; look at the attached picture - does not look normal, does it??

FX "What the #@%&!!!"

Come on already with the pre orders. In Aug 2021 placed a preorder for the new .177cal slug liner. Here I sit in Aug 2022 and still no liner. I understand getting some hype around a product and getting the word out shortly before its release but this is a little ridicules! I have many different brands of guns a like them all but this seems to be a common thing with FX lately. I would rather not know what coming a year + from now or be honest and say "coming soon" but don't put a product out for preorder when its no where near ready for sale! I still love my FX rifles but this practice is extremely frustrating for the consumers! OK I'll stop bitching now!!! Just going to go to bed and dream about all the fun me and my liner would have... :)

Best Mid level .25 cal

Ok guys so I looking to buy my first pcp. Not new to guns by any means but haven’t owned much more than a Crossman pellet gun from walmart, so pcp guns are kinda foreign ground for me. But looking for something for target and some backyard pest control. Kinda settled on a .25 cal it’s fairly windy where I’m at and have a few groundhogs and mink that need to go. After watching some utube I came across Aea Varmint, seems to be what looking for. What other guns would be comparable or preferred to the Varmint, in a mid level price range.

Buying a new airgun suggestions wanted.

Soo im in the mood for a new airgun as of late and wondering what would be the most recommended in the price range of say 1400$ to 2100$ ?
Ive had edgun, cricket, airforce, hatsan, webly and war but no fx or daystate yet.
Im a lefty and tempted by a impact or maverick but just a bit leery of just how lefty friendly they may or may not be. The cricket 2 tatical and argos as well as vulcan3 and uragan look sweet and tempting purchases.
Im a paper puncher mainly with just a tick of pesting when pigeons decide to decorate my vehicles.
I mostly shoot from a bench but not all the time and like shooting 30 to 100 ish yards.
I would like to be able to do slugs if the urge calls but will be mainly.22 jsb 18.1 pellets.
Soo guys gals what would be the most bang for my money?
Ive been weighing m3 impact vs cricket 2 tatical in the 1900 to 2100 range or maverick vs uragan 2 vs vulcan 3 in the 1800 $ range.
Gimmie some suggestions to sway me one way or another before my mind explodes.
Thanks 👍

First PCP, under $700

Hello,

Im looking for something pretty specific PCP. Sorry if these requirements are way too specific for my budget. I’ve been looking for a PCP carbine to shoot in my city backyard 90% of the time, and 10% out in the mountain. I don’t know if this is possible. If not ALL the requirements are met, i do not want to purchase it, and will stick with just multi-pumps.

The order of importance:
-MUST be EASILY powered down to 500fps on .177 (7.4gr) lead pellets, and EASILY powered up to 800fps with the same pellet. If it can be powered down/up but needs disassembly or extra tools, i do not want that gun. If it can be only powered down to 600fps, i do not want it either.

-must be .177. I am shooting through a chicken wire mesh to shoot rats sometimes. Only pellet that doesnt mess up the wire was 177 pointed pellets.

-must be repeatable or semiauto CARBINE or PISTOL that is light weight. Needs to fit in a 22 gallon backpack. I was thinking Airforce Talon P at first.. but doesnt fit in the backpack, and does not have a magazine for repeating shots.

-Accurate to dime size in 30 -40 yards. (With high fps)

-Under $700 excluding air compressor, scopes, bipod, supressor or any other extras.

-more shots the better.

Again, i think im looking for too much within my budget, but i really have no use if not ALL requirements are met. Thank you in advance!
