I had left my Maverick 22 Sniper sit for a spell while I played with my new Compact 25. I was asked to test some 30 gr, 22 slugs from a local producer. While trying to tune the gun lost a lot of power somehow.
I had it tuned to 160/128 and the IHS @ 5.55 mm with a hammer weight of 11.8 grams ( 11 with spacer) and was shooting NSA 27.5’s @ 960.
Now all I can get out of the gun is 830 fps with the 27.5 slugs. I have gone back to my original tune and get in the low 820’s. I have increased the tune to 165/140 and 6mm on the IHS and can get 830 by messing with the IHS.
i am stumped on what could be wrong. I double checked that the slug port on the barrel was being used, swapped gauges with my other Maverick. Both are the same brand digital gauge and they read the same pressures.
I am tapped out on my knowledge and skills. I have considered a full disassembly but am not sure I have the skills to go through that process.
Does anyone have a thought as to where the problem may be?
The next step is to send it to Utah Air Guns for repair.

I recently purchased a Maverick that came with the Wika guages. It was set to and read 125 on the regulator gauge.
That back gauge is so tiny I could barely read it and installed a Sekhmet gauge this morning. It reads 114 bar.
The rifle shoots exactly the same with both. Are Wika gauges that far off on a regular basis?
I'm assuming, maybe incorrectly, that the Sekhmet is more likely to be the correct one.

Is it just me, or did what gets shown on general post change? It seems to me the number of posts has diminished since the upgrade. Could it be people are confused by the new layout! Just curious.

I have a request to remove one if that’s possible. On any type of gun forum cock (The act of pulling the bolt to the rear until it locks the hammer back. Also seen as cocking which is not on the naughty list or cocked which may be on the naughty list, I’ll know when I post this lol.) is a very commonly used word, and I don’t think it’s gonna be used as a dangerous word here! I could be wrong and AGN has a meltdown though.

Purchased two of these recently - very impressed with both except for one issue....
the power of them seems weak (one is way weaker than the other). I get lots of shots per fill. I don't have access to a chronograph.
I tried adjusting the power knobs but on both rifles, it will not go to the max position (and it needs pliers to turn it at all). It creeps back to the 3/4 power indicator on both rifles.

One of the rifles seems reasonable in power (enough to kill small game) and the other is lobbing them in at 25 yards with very little pop on impact.
Neither seems right though because I am getting A LOT of shots per fill.

Help?!! I am supposed to be hunting iguanas in Puerto Rico and I am not confident these are shooting powerful enough for that at this time.
these are both brand new unmodified NP03 carbines shooting 14.3 and 15.4 gr pellets.

Rifle is great, i just dont know if its for me so tossing up the idea

It shoots any pellets lights out and I have a custom tune for jsb knock out .217 25.39 (group shown 10 rounds of KOs at 50 yards shooting them at 940fps with a lot of oooomph left in the tank)

Comes with 0db moderator , factory case, all manuals and transferable warranty. Have owned it for 1 month.

Zero issues and still in like new shape.

Obviously would like cash on your end or will trade for an Impact and other items (upgrades, bipods, another air gun, etc) . I value the rifle with moderator at $3000.00 because it is used even though very slightly.

I received my Impact M3 in April 2022, the FX bottle is stamped 375 Bar and the bottle gauge maxes out at 300 bar. The rifle is still stamped Max Pressure 250 Bar. My first reg. is set to 175 Bar and my second set to 125 Bar. Should I worry about putting 300 Bar in the bottle?
