I wanted to try new liners with 1:16" twist rate.

These were not available in my country.

I wrote to Johan and he sent .22 and .25 liners. In first attempt the parcel was lot. Then FX sent another parcel with same items. This was received.

My view on these liners is this that these are extremely good in accuracy with pellets and slugs both.

Anyone else tested these lines, please share your experience.

Picked up a tin of the Spanish made CPHPs at WallyWorld today. I use these in my Vixen compact, tuned down to 580, primarily for pigeon hunting. My zero is set at 25yds. Opened the new tin and immediately noticed the pellets are more dinged up so my first thought is the lead might be softer than the US variants. So I squeezed the skirts of each and could not deform the US pellets but the Spanish were easy to deform.

Shot the top row with the US pellets. My US pellets are coated wth beeswax to keep my barrel cleaner. So I shot row two with beeswax coated Spanish pellets. I had LOTS of fliers. So I shot row three straight from the tin with the Spanish lets and cotinued to have lots of fliers and poor accuracy.

Row 5 was shot with AA Falcon 13.4 pellets which are the most accurate pellets for this gun at this tune.

The hollow points on both appear to be equal diameter and depth and shape. The parting lines appear similar. I didn’t weigh sort or head size sort either pellets. At this point the old pellets seem to shoot a bit more accurately than the new Spanish pellets. More testing is needed in more favorable wind conditions.

What has been your experience using both pellets?

RTI P3 performance. gun remains very clean (see pictures, Let me know if you want to see any others) and it is very accurate with the .22 and .25 caliber with slugs.

Hello All,
I recently decided it was a good time to introduce my 8 yr old daughter to shooting. Great time to teach safety, more safety, and some shooting basics.
When I was about her age (granted it was 40+ years ago), I got the Crossman 760 Pumpmaster. I loved it. My Gpap taught me everything. I had it for 10+ years when it finally gave out. I couldn't think of a better way to introduce my daughter than to get that same rifle.
Disappointment is a major understatement. The thing is $40 so it is what it is, but compared to the one I had really isn't even a comparison.
Beyond just the general flimsy feel there are problems that really are awful. Thought I'd list just a few:
The barrel itself can turn/twist +/- 60°, putting the sights near sideways.
The pump handle being completely light plastic feels like it'll break any second.
The bolt/ breach are a little misaligned meaning you need to shove it into place.
Like I said, I didn't expect much but I'd like to at least think it'll last during this early beginner time. The old ones had a metal handle and linkage to pump. That's my biggest issue here. It takes more force now as the handle is short, less leverage. Guaranteed it'll break.

Oh well, things get cheap and corners cut over time. Stay profitable, compete, etc I get it. Mostly it's just me. Memories of this thing are some of my best as a kid at my GPa's house. I want to share that with my daughter but this isn't going to do it.
I'm wondering if I should just grab the Red Ryder and go from there .
Thanks for listening, mostly I just had to vent. That said, I'm definitely open to suggestions of what might be a solid choice for her.

Anyone having this happen

FX Wildcat MK3 .22, with a slow leak from day one. Bought brand new. Leaking from the barrel.
Takes more than a month for pressure to drop down to 100 bar, so I did not go to the trouble to return it.
Big mistake. After a few months of inactivity, I tried to fill it from empty and I could not.
All the air was leaking from the barrel.

I thought that the valve pin had an issue and I replaced the tiny o-ring. ID 1.5mm x CS1.0mm
Same thing!
All air is coming out from the barrel. Even if I cock it, the air is still coming out from the barrel
and the breech pellet hole! If I cover both holes with my fingers no air is escaping from elsewhere.

Any ideas before I throw it in the bin with all the leaking FXs...?

Mainly targeting squirrels and rabbits with my .22.. My question is are slugs that much more effective over pellets or is it overkill for the small game? Current gun pushes 1000fps.Thanks for feedback!

I would like to make this an easy task. Is there a perticular o-ring material that is best for pcp guns. Im thinking about making a stash of all from my gun o-rings and would like to keep is simple.

I have a GX-cs3 compressor that has stopped putting up 4500psi. It stops around 2000. Does anyone know where these can be repaired?

Nothing at all wrong with it, just counted and I have over 14 scopes, many of which are not even mounted. I lost the caps to it a while ago, but the scope is like new. It ought to be, it's almost unused.

It seems that on most of my guns, I'll have it sighted in at a certain distance with a certain pellet but the next time I take it out the POI will have shifted from 1/2" to 2" at 25 yards. Could this be a trait of cheap scopes? I have always economized when it comes to buying scopes. The most I have paid is about $125 with most about half that amount. I guess I've been afraid if I ever bought a really good, ie. expensive, scope I would be spoiled and would no longer be happy with my cheap scopes. If the POI shift is due to my cheap scopes, what would be a good scope for say under $200? Almost all my shooting is 50 yards and less.
