Tax Season… Time for an FX?

Hi all, new member here and first post!

So it’s tax season.. which means I’m looking for ways to burn some dough lol. I got my first pcp a little over a year ago, an AEA .22, that I use for pesting squirrels on our property. Now, I kind of want to get something to deal with the coyotes. I was thinking an FX either the impact or the panthera in .30. Really just like the looks and form factor of the panthera over the impact but I’m sure most people will advise going with the impact? What do you guys think? Also, as this will inevitably be nicer than my AEA I’m sure I’ll want to use it for squirrels too, is .30 the right choice?

SOLD ***Benjamin Sheridan ***

An older friend of mine is cleaning out a few of his older airguns and asked if I could help him. These are in excellent working order. Except the one needs seals. Description on the cards for each rifle in the pics. Please feel free to contact me via text 208899380three or call. I can answer questions to the best of my ability.

Thanks for looking, Phillip

Interesting read

I came across this article on scopes that others may find enjoyable. According to the poster there are very few factories building scopes, they just rebrand them.

Like i really need this.

Like I needed this. Bought this Ruger Yukon .177 for $80. My thoughts were. I have a couple extra barrels from a XS28M. Have the .25 on mine. So I'm going to use the .22 barrel from the 28 swapping them out. Mike M told me no problem will work perfectly.

I probed the muzzle baffle and the barrel is shorter on the Ruger. Installing the .22 from the XS28 the barrel will be longer about 4 inches and the rifle itself should have

SOLD Benjamin Akela .177

Benjamin Akela .177 with refinished stock. Purchased for my son to see how he'd do with the bullpup format, and he liked it so much that we then bought another Akela in .22 to replace his primary AG.

Other than the stock being refinished, I believe the rest of the rifle is stock and untuned. Zero issues with this one. Seals are good; no leaks. While not regulated, it does well in terms of ES and grouping. Pics attached are three 5-shot groups @ 30 yards (1/4" grid lines on target).

Has 3 mags and the Buckrail Scope Rail/Shroud bracket.

7-day inspection period. 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you don't love it, return it.

$375. PayPal F&F or add 3%. Send any questions via PM, email, text, or phone call. Buyer pays shipping. Will be double-boxed and tightly packed. Scope, rings, moderator, and mod adapter are not included. However, the factory barrel shroud cap is included.

local buy/sell/trade forum function.

Just wondering if this forum might consider a local type of buying/selling/trading similar to the classifieds?
I realize there are other options out there, but I don't use FB or the marketplace and avoid Craigslist.
I am also aware that it may be asking too much of whoever lays out the forum and has to moderate.
I'm just old-school and prefer cash or physical transactions wherein one is welcome to test the product on hand without worry of being taken advantage of.
any thoughts on this Idea or perhaps it is in the works ?

Most reliable Big Bore?? Long Term Use

I have been new to pcp airgun s. I bought my Texan during the pandemic and jumped in with both feet. I was in my younger days a long range powder burner hunter Benchrest and gunsmithing. I was very used to long range setup s and dialing elevation. After watching all the awesome long range videos on YouTube I bought my Texan. In short it has been a extremely difficult to obtain consistent accuracy. I shoot slot and that's what attracted me to airgun s. Cost effective cast slugs and air much cheaper than the powder burner alternative. My Texan breaks .... 300 lbs of slugs and two major issues... I bought a Texan for the reputation and accuracy presented online.. In short I need 2 big bores to have one working. So in my eyes Texan Tx2 valve not reliable... Umarex Hammer not reliable.. AEA big bores...not.reliable.. So.who really makes a good reliable big bore??? I haven't had experience with Western Bush buck or Hatsun piledriver or extreme big bores.. I making this post to help myself and new shooters getting into big bores. How many rounds of slugs without break downs. With powder burner bolt actions they never broke just wore out barrels. I want big bores to get better.. The quality of some of the barrels.on many of the big bores are horrible.. I would like the industry to get better.. More performance and less marketing hype. Thanks for bearing with me Airgun Nation friends..

Whats your thoughts

Do you think that youtube air rifle reviewers are sent selected accurate shooting rifles to review or do you believe that they recieve and return inaccurate rifles like everybody else, seems that 50% are only ok shooting barrels, showing budget rifles doing 100 yard groups at an 1 inch is not believable unless it was picked best of 50 rifles. Regardless of break in, cleaning, trigger and ability cannot fix a poor barrel, whats your thought.

Survival Air Guns can suck it.

DISCLAIMER: I can easily document every claim - stated or implied - I make in this thread.

1. Don’t advertise things as “in stock” when they are not in stock.
2. Don’t miss three promised shipment dates.
3. Don’t collect money ($520 in this case) from customers, then not fulfill the order, and then ignore all communications from them.
4. Don’t fly to Vegas for a trade show and sit there like a schmuck for a week while you have dozens of unfulfilled orders and pissed off customers back home.

Charge-back complete. That is all.

Which LW (.22) caliber barrel blank for my RAW HM1000x

Thinking of buying a .22 caliber LW barrel blank for my RAW HM1000x.
Will machine to fit on my lathe, but wondering if another LW Poly no-choke or LW standard barrel w/choke is best?

It's my understanding all OEM RAW HM1000x's come with a LW Poly no-choke, so assumed this was The Choice?

I will shoot both pellets and slugs between 50 and 100 yards only.

Will likely buy a LW Poly no-choke unless someone has already done this and/or has a better idea:unsure:.
