A little bit of role reversal happened today for one reason.

I just could not get a comfortable cheek with the sightmark mounted on the taipan, so I figured with the lower rail mounting on the Caiman it would do better. It does feel 100% better but I still am not sold on it completely even though it is a large improvement.

I think maybe I need to just man up and get a clip on thermal and have glass on both rifles.

Either way they're both ****ing sick aren't they, pardon my French but look at those beauties, and ya, they perform as good as the freaking look.

Just wanted to try to get some opinions on the different Brocock pcp's and why a specific model if your favorite. Im looking at a Commander and just find these rifles very interesting but hard to get much in details about them.

I know I’ll get a lot of different answers but what scope does everyone like on their pcp for hunting ? Has the recoil ever been an issue with taking out reticals?

The gun is deadly accurate with both the 25.4gr and the 33.95gr pellets
One twist of the power knob, 1 turn between the 2 pellets and they are equally accurate, just depends on how bad you want to destroy the target.

The Most accurate results come by using the ZAN 33gr/ 2.14g, .253/6.41 cal Slugs with the power wheel set at 22 turns out. ( you want stupid power, you still have 18 more clicks out left on the wheel ! )

The gun is in Excellent condition, no, bumps or bruises, Never been abused, and only shot off the bench .

I try finding more info on this after stumbling on the pictures, but it's all in RUS?. It's only 21" long!!! the build do look like a TANK, look very similar to a Taipan, like a miniature pitbull bully. It's call Blazar II, I think.

I would like to know if anyone has ever had this service preformed on their guns? Is there a significant increase in accuracy? I am thinking of having this done to my Red Wolf .22 Hp but I would like to know if the gain in accuracy justifies the cost. Thanks

Fx Impact is the PCP of this modern time with most good things like external adjustments, high power and accuracy.

I always kept and updated my FX Impacts. Right now I have M3 in which I have done a few improvements.

To me the main deal breaking from go to gun had always been its trigger.

Sorry to say but Technically not a match grade and not a real two stage trigger.

For some reasons trigger is one of the most important things for me.

I always scratched my head to find a way to make it as good as I need.

While discussing this matter on the forum and myself designing some triggers drawings, an idea of another airgunner clicked me but he had only drawings and never tried to make it.

I plunged into it and with my own input in his drawings I made some parts of the trigger.

After a long time and cost of R&D finally I have achieved a very nice 1st stage around 2 ounces and 2nd stage is adjustable that right now I have at at around 8 ounces.

The good thing is that the trigger alway come back if I don't pull it through the 2nd stage and let it go back to reset for availing 1st stage again.

The 2nd stage adjustments do not affect the first stage smoothness at all.

Still a long way to go to make it better and better. But for now this has made Impact my go to gun.

I wish Fredrik you could use this style or any other better way to make the Impact trigger a perfect target trigger like HW100, RAW and some FWB guns.

I had not planned on buying a new gun until spring but I sold my MK3 compact quicker than I thought so I pullled the trigger on the Wildcat MK3 bottle with the 700mm barrel and the heavy slug liner. I am using the gun solely for hunting and I wanted to shoot slugs. We are right in the middle of hunting season here and I didn’t want to spend a lot of time tuning so the I had the guys at Utah air guns tune it for the 33 grain Zans. I also bought some 29.5 NSA’ and some FX hybrids just to see if certain ones would group better than others. I shot a couple of strings through the chronograph… the Zans shot at an average 978 fps the NSA’s average at 1007 fps and the hybrid slugs at average of 1041 fps. It shot the Zans and the NSA’s grouped okay but man it loved the Hybrids. At 50 yards it shoots hole in hole and at 75 it’s pretty close to that. I head shot a squirrel at 75 yards this morning. I’ve never had a gun that would do that. Check out the expansion on this hybrid slug I dug out of a squirrel I shot at 75 yards. I’m thinking I will just leave it alone for now but do you think I could the other slugs to shoot just as good. My second reg is set to 130 bar. I can get close to 60 shots before it falls of the regulator. For those of you with more tuning experience that me would you just leave it alone?

In attempting to fit an aftermarket stock to my pet 97 I ran into a problem and then created another. The right front retaining screw hole in the new stock was off center by just a few .00”. It had metal screw cups but I thought because I could get the screw started, with a bit more force I could make it work. WRONG. I proceeded in stripping the threads in the “U” shaped retaining bracket. NOW my question is, should I drill and retap both holes (orig 5mm)? If so I’d have to go larger and 6mm seems awfully big. 7/32” maybe? Any ideas? Thanks! UJ

May be a silly question, but anybody have any idea why the crosman domed pellets are so much more than the hollow points? Less lead usage? Seems like they weigh the same but the domed pellets are nearly twice the price. That or I’m just not lookin in the right places.

I know this is a loaded question and, there are more opinions than there are manufacturers. For those who have owed one or been exposed to them, what do you feel is the best quality or best finished or most reliable U.S. made PCP.

i know this has been talked about some and i have read most. would just like to hear all the good and bad if any before i make a purchase. leaning toward the standard as far as carrying and handling being easier but the long not being that long either. so if ya’ll have anything to add id appreciate it. thanks
