Notos loading issues

Recently bought a Notos as it seemed pretty popular here. It's honestly not a bad gun for the price. I have been having issues however since the first day. It will not reliably load pellets from the magazine. It jams badly. The first day I tried it, first pellet, went to chamber it, and it got stuck about a 1/3 of the way (lever forward). At this point I was unable to get the magazine to release, and sadly had to bench it for the rest of the outing until I could figure a way to get it out. I had to go buy a long enough .22 cleaning rod to try to get it to release by going through the front of the barrel. It took a lot of finagling, but finally got it out. Tried again and same result. Ordered a couple of Carm magazines and tried them with same result. Something seems like it's not aligning correctly. I can get the Carm mags to function if I "wiggle" them in all directions as I am trying to chamber the pellet. Not ideal at all. The single shot magazine functions fine. Nothing looks obviously wrong visually. I do notice that the bolt (?) when manually cycling ( the part that pushes the pellet) seems to drop down a little when first going forward, and wondering if this is the problem. When all the way back, I can wiggle it a bit if that makes sense. Any ideas? Trying to avoid having to send it back if it's an easy fix, I'm pretty good at repairing.
Not a great pic, but this is where I suspect the issue is, as the bolt drops just a hair once it first starts to protrude.

2023 USARB Nationals Cancelled

Unfortunately the USARB Nationals we had planned for the Whittington Center this August will not take place this year.
Given the USARB's very limited resources (staff and funding), the time, effort, expense and logistics of coordinating and holding a national event on the other side of the country are proving to be more than had been expected.

Even though fellow shooters like Mike Nisch and Joe Frederick graciously offered to help. We need to find
a location that is closer and more practical for regional shooters and dates that don't conflict with other large events (Pyramid Air Cup in Ohio is the same week).

We still hope to get more regional events schedules for this year but in the meantime, we welcome any suggestions, assistance and ideas from all USARB clubs and their members to help prepare for a National event in 2024.

Thanks for your understanding,

Sincerely,
Mark

PCP Rifle  WTS Synthetic Maruder 22 cal.

Bone stock 22 caliber marauder for sale. It comes with a vortex crossfire 3x9x40 withthe balistic plex and 3 magazines. The tins of pellets are either full or less than 20 pellets short of full. Plus the sample pack. The gun is 2 years old and has shot about 500 pellets through it. Its time to step up in guns. So Im selling it to fund another gun. I'd like to get 475.00 plus the ride .

Anyone keep a pcp in their vehicle?

Would save me a ton of time, not having to stop back at home when I want to go to the range after work. From what I've read on here, safety isn't the concern. It'll take higher temperatures than what a car could reach, to even approach burst disc failure on the gun or scba tank.

But what I did see mentioned was concern over damage to seals. Is it not feasible to have a pcp as a trunk / truck gun?

PCP Metal Art Sculpture

I searched to find if this has already been discussed....couldn't find a definitive answer so thought I'd post some of my unique PCP metal art. Where I worked we had alum, Titanium and other metal plates I could use for back drop stops..

You can almost determine which caliber created each benp. Some negative some positive, still trying to decide if I should enter in the next art show or not.. most likely not.:)

Do Any Of You Guys Reuse Pellets?

Yesterday when I cleaned out my pellet trap I noticed a lot of the pellets appear to have not been deformed at all. I'm wondering if they can be shot again. Maybe their are small deformities that I can't see.
My pellet trap is stuffed with old bed sheets and towels. The pellets get stopped there before reaching the duct seal. Most of my pellets are shot out of break barrel spring guns.

PCP Rifle  NLA Trading FX Crown MK2 .25 cal with Saber Tactical Chassis for FX Panthera .22 cal (…or something else)

I just bought a FX Crown MK2 .25 cal with the Saber Tactical chassis (600mm barrel; very good looking rifle for sure) and was wondering if anyone would like to trade their FX Panthera in .22 cal for it. Preferably want a 600mm barrel Panthera.

When I receive the crown, I will test fire at the range for accuracy and function and that’ll be it.

I may entertain other EVEN trades. Let me know what you have.

Thanks

SOLD!!!

Admiring your collection

Was sorting some things around and got MOST of my slingers in the same one spot at one time. So I stopped and stared...recalling memories for each one...
My lady says "you ok?"
🥴how long was I standing there?😅 not sure, after I snapped back to the NOW, I got a quick pic so that I could once again stare at them in that same exact orientation more times over.
Anyone else just stare at their stuff and let their mind just go?

Walther Rotek .177 (information and analysis area)

Since I've been neck deep in research; it seems like there is not much information to be had on this slinger.🤔Tons of info for the RoteX but not the RoteK.(UK market was RoteX*limited power, USA market being the Rotek**not limited)
While most of the info corresponds with one another; I want to find the differences and compile them for any present/future owner.
If you have/had/handled one in either version; please chime in. I will be conducting more research and posting as follows.

Traditional Rifle  SOLD Wiehrauch HW97 22 cal-SPF

This is the black and stainless model underlever gun. Originally bought this for an associate that ended up washing out on me. However, this gun is a wonderful piece of craftsmanship. Smoothest spring piston I ever shot. I have specs listed in the pics, Comes with a P3-HO kit already installed and it really tones down the twang of the spring. Also comes with a Hawke airmax 4-12 scope. I have also included 4 tins of pellets that have been sorted for head size. Made significant difference for me. I was able to shoot as accurate as any PCP gun I own with this gun, granted it was only 10 yards, but still. Tins are JSB 14.3g, Hades 15.89g, AA 18g, H&N 14.66g. All tins are about 2/3 full. $600 shipped, paypal F&F or add 3.5% fees, or personal check, check would need to clear if we have not dealt with each other before. thanks.- SPF!

Beeman C1s in the Uk

Evening all (y)

This is my first post since being allowed to join your forum so, thank you.

I found this place while looking for more info on the Beeman C1 - they seem to be much more well known on here than on UK forums.

I came back to air guns in 2015 after being away from them for a long while (it was a 'life got in the way' kinda thing), since then, I've been lucky to own a lot of nice rifles, PCPs and springers - my firm favourite now is the humble Beeman C1. I love the look of it, the ballance and how they shoot.

Not the easiest thing to use - they do punish any lapse in technique and concentration.
........ I've found that I get best results with a very light hold at the front and, by shooting thumb up - then squeezing the trigger while applying equal pressure with my thumb. Like I'm trying to bring thumb and finger together through the stock.

Neither of these 2 came to me with open sights, hence the adjustable butt pads, 1 piece mounts and scopes.

I got the first one a couple of years ago - I swapped it with an HW50 with a friend.
He got it from a late uncle - it wasn't in the best condition so, he stripped the metalwork, restored the stock and had the internals refreshed. It's now working well with an older Hawke Sport 4x32 AO scope.
........ This one is a .22.

I got the other one a few days ago through a contact on another forum - he'd already been inside and, it feels like he did a nice job.
I put a Niko Stirling Platinum 4-12x40 AO on this one. I may go for something smaller but, I like the gloss look on it for now.
......... This one is a .177.

The previous owner recommended H&N FTTs in this one - considering our 12ft lb limit, the reading on the chrono today seems healthy so, I'm happy with that so far.

Both rifles are from the first batch, made without safeties. They have fairly low serial numbers so, I'm guessing they're from around 1981/2?

I've never been much of a target shooter - I like to hunt and cook, usually going for rabbit, wood pigeon and squirrel so, I'm looking forward to getting out with my recent acquisition.

Thanks for reading my first post - here's the pictures...........

PCP Rifle  SOLD Leshiy 2 Awesome Package

Leshiy 2 package includes
Original grip, 350mm .22 Alfa barrel, shroud, fill probe and air reservoir.
Westhunter Compact 6-24×44 ffp
2 x .22 mags + 2 extra mag plates
1 x .25 mag
2 x factory mag holders
300cc L2 carbon fiber tank
1x .22 FX Smoothtwist barrel 450mm
1 x .25 FX Smoothtwist barrel 450mm
1 x .25 FX Smoothtwist barrel 520mm
FX barrel shroud
DonnyFL Sumo
Sekhmet digital guage for regulator
Extra regulator valve seat
Regulator adjustment tool
Extra mag cycling spring
Eaglevision m14x 1/2-20 adapter
Imitation Atlas style QD bipod
Waterproof hard case
Original box and manual

This is an awesome little package for anyone who's considering getting a Leshiy 2. It works perfectly and is in great condition. It's pretty much been a case queen.
The FX Smoothtwist barrels shoot way better than the original Alfa barrel. Especially the the .22 FX. I've shot a few full mag (8 shots) sub MOA groups at 100 yards with 16 grain JSBs.
The .25 barrels were typically getting 1.5"-2" groups at 100 yards and can probably do better with the right jetting. All in good conditions of course.

2 of the FX barrels have collars that stop against the front of the receiver and are clocked. This makes for very fast and repeatable barrel changes. I can swap those barrel/calibers in approximately 2 minutes, including adjusting the reg.

The only real blemish is at the bottom of butt stock where it sits on the bench as shown in the picture above.
20230328_124317.jpg

This was from the L2s last trip to the range at 100 yards. There was a little bit of wind off and on. When the wind was off, the 16grn JSBs did great. When the wind picked up, naturally the groups opened up.
