Currently set up to shoot 25gr JSBs at just under 900fps, good for about 45fpe. I have shot it at 1040fps with the same ammo with great results out to 100 yards.

Will come with everything seen in pictures. Original plastic case, original magazine, Orion Magazine, One tin of .22 JSBs in 25gr. It’s in excellent shape & very accurate. Tested at 35 yards, one ragged hole. See “last 5” on the Chrony.

I just happened on his videos while (whilst in British usage) poking around on the Benjamin Akela/Kral Puncher trail, and after watching him very patiently do this full tear-down and reassembly, I not only learned a lot about the Akela/Puncher's potential, but listening to his calm, simple, soothing description made me feel like I was listening to Mr. Rogers while simultaneously rubbing a beloved spaniel's ears. I am sure my heart rate and blood pressure descended to very healthful levels. Ahhh ... Thank you Jake.

Whats the difference in using PG oil over Silicone? Is there a difference? Does using Pellgun oil make the gun shoot better. Will I notice a difference in performance between the 2 oils? What does putting PG oil on the co2 cartridges do that Silicone oil can't? Is PG oil just hype to get you to buy it at a premium price?

I've been lurking around since the early 90s and remembering Jonesing over a Career 707 and Sam Yang 909, not to mention the Beeman RX-1, one of the first gas spring piston guns I ever knew made. I still have both my RWS and Beeman catalogs from back then, my old RWS 48, and a pristine copy of "The Air Rifle Hunter's Guide" by Tom Holzel from 1991. Yet family and work always stood in the way of me easing off into "The Darkside" back then, however all that has changed now. I've retired once and even gone back to work after 3 or 4 years of boredom, and in the last few months I've decided to delve back into this old love, air rifles. While I sit and wait on a modified rifle to arrive courtesy of Brian over at Veradium Air, my lady has decided to make me jealous by ordering a FX Wildcat MKIII BT equipped with a 580cc carbon fiber bottle and a DonnyFL Tanto. God forbid her gun outperforms mine or I may be forced to consider yet another higher end rifle that's lefty friendly.

In the UK we have the HW99s that everywhere else is known as the HW50s. I am a huge Fan of the 50 and have had very many probably in the teens over the years. I have been keeping an eye out but have yet to see any mention of the Galling that scraping grinding noise that plagues so many of these sweet little guns. The fix in the UK used to be seized on by the guns critics as not fit for purpose and those of us who knew better just got on with it and serviced the gun and did the FIX at the same time and just enjoyed it. Gradually over the years the critics seem to have seen sense and they seem to be in the minority now. So I am wondering what do you guys do about the Galling when it arrives?? Here are my two. The scoped 99 is the most accurate I have had and has been with me for many years. The other not for very long. I am about to scope this Gun. Great Guns.

I'm considering a 700 mm Panthera in .22 cal. What brand, size and weight slug are people using? My intended purpose is long range target shooting.

Feels like there is something inside binding up the hammer doesn’t happen every time but sometimes it’s gritty throughout the throw of the cocking lever. When this happens velocities jump about 40-50 fps. Any thoughts? Going to call FX and warranty this sucker if y’all can’t help me out lol
