PCP Rifle  SOLD American air arms Evol .30 caliber 18’’ PRS

AAA .30 caliber 18’’ PRS stock. This Gun is a great shooter. It is not a safe queen. Overall condition is good.
There is some light handling marks throughout nothing major. if you would like to see some close-up pictures, please reach out.
up grades are Huma gauges and a 27 cc power Plenum has been installed. The gun shoots great with JSB, JSB Hades, AEA and FX hybrids.
it likes the 44 grain and 50 grain. As far as speeds. Test results with 44 grain JSB you can push them from 850 ft./s to 940 ft./s. Obviously the faster you push them the gun gets louder and your shot count goes down.. I particularly like it at 880 to 900 ft./s with 44 grain pellets. It can get a bit loud with factory moderator. I was running it with a Donny FL Ronin, sumo and showgun.
$1700. Shipped. PayPal friends and family Venmo, or Zelle.**** Scope, bipod, and bag are not included.***** I will also include a full set of o-ring that I have coming this week. **** the only trade I will consider is a American air arms mini*****

Results  Match Report for Ultimate Field Target at PRGC February 2025

1740362751454.png

Ben Spencer and Phoenix Rod and Gun Club hosted an Ultimate Field Target match yesterday.

I'm going to do it backwards from my normal format a bit, by expressing thanks and appreciation first. First off, Ben, we appreciate you man. When I collectively consider all of the matches of yours that I've attended, you are responsible for a whole pile of really fun Saturdays over the last 5 or so years. THANK YOU BEN. Next is those who were able and willing to help out this month. If I leave anyone out here it is unintentional, please remember that this match report is written based off what I was told and I'm filling in the blanks. I know that Scott H. was on site to help with course set-up on Friday. Scott H, Jesse, and Paul were the target painting crew. Thanks guys. And I'm sure all the usual suspects helped out with sign in and sight in. Thanks to you as well. And thanks to those who donated $$$ for new ropes-that desert sun is brutal on them. Photo credit to Ben, Van, Tony, and Paul. And finally, thanks to PRGC for sharing their facilities with us.

From what I was sent, looks like there were 8 shooters in the 72 shot (sub 50fpe) Full Monty class, 3 in the 48 shot Short range class, and 2 in the 48 shot Long Range class. Ben's use of a near/middle/far target makes this uniquely possible at these matches, where anybody from 20-100fpe can shoot at the same time, slugs, pellets, sub sonic rimfire.
group.jpg

Here are the top three scores for the Full Monty class. Ben, Barbara, and Kent.
winners.jpg

Weather topped out around 80 degrees and I was told that the wind was very deceiving this month. Going from hardly none to swirling very differently at the target than at the shooters box.

Here is the scorecard....
score card.jpg

Had some brave souls in that Short Range class!!! I understand Wes used his WFTF rig, somewhat as a test of the targets to see if they'd go down with such little energy. If I remember correctly, there are targets as far as 64ish yards for the "middle". 12 fpe at that distance would be a CHALLENGE. And not a whole lot easier at 19 and 26 fpe for Jesse and Barry. Nice shooting guys. I always like to see lower fpe when we're talking about an airgun event.

Congrats to the winners.

I think there's only a few shooters missing in the following photos. The gang took and sent me some great shots.

Reximex Silent Force long moderator

Bought a Silent Force long last month from Sharg.pl. Wasn't expecting much from a $23 moderator. Put it on my .22 Shin Sung Career II 707. The Career is most assuredly not back yard friendly. Bought it, fired 1 round and put it in the cabinet awaiting a 1/2-20 adapter. I put an STO Falx on and it REALLY quieted the rifle down. Swapped over to the Silent Force and if there was any difference in loudness I could not tell.

So I ordered 3 more, $98 with tax and shipping from Poland.

Other  New guy looking for recommendations

I have a ton of regular guns but I am looking to get into a decently nice pcp rifle. My main reason is so I can shoot in my backyard which is in the suburbs but I’d also like it to be useful for hunting small/medium sized game. I am thinking .25cal but I am open for recommendation there as well.

My front runner as of right now is the Brocock Ghost HP. Is this a good choice? I also want something that is going to be quiet so I don’t piss off my neighbors. I want something that is set it and forget it type of gun that has very good build quality and isn’t prone to breaking.

Airgun Technologies  30 Cal Uragan 2 or 3

I have a Uragan 2 25 caliber and really enjoy it. I have owned a AAA Evol and a FX Impact Mk2 both in 30 caliber. Sold them both. Each was super accurate. Been searching for another 30 and have been waiting for the Uragan 3 to come out. I noticed that Tony has the Uragan 2 in 30 caliber red laminate for $1400. Wondering if it's worth the wait for the Uragan 3? Benefits and likely higher price? Sure don't like the wait but sure don't want to make a mistake. Thoughts?

PCP Rifle  WTS Like New .22 cal Condor SS - [NEW LOWER PRICE]

For sale is this .22 cal Condor SS. It has an 18" Lothar Walther barrel (1:16 twist). The air tank on this gun has a specially designed valve system that achieves very high velocities. So, if power and accuracy are what you are looking for, this AirForce rifle will not disappoint.

This gun is lightly used, in perfect condition.

6-24x42 Barska Scope $50.
$550 for all, includes a DFL Shogun.

Interested? Message me with an offer.

I (Felix) am posting this ad for markhooper, who did not feel comfortable to navigate through the forum to post it himself. So if you can please message Mark with your interest or questions, that would be great.

Elevated targets on Field Target course

I'm a fan of having elevated targets on a FT course. If there's any wind it seems as they are more difficult. At Sherwood Airgunners we have the option to having about half our targets elevated either by a.target stand in a tree or shooting up/down a hill. Today I added to our elevated target stands by adding 2 on our Highlands course. One is approximately 12ft while the other is about 18ft. Should make for some epic shots.

Umarex  NOTOS Degassing ?

i did a google search, & did not find much , i need to degas so in can install a trigger kit purchased from a member here on AGN, & while i am at it, also install new cocking lever also purchased from another member on this forum , a video would be greatly appreciated, so i an copy onto a flash drive to watch ,as i have a bad memory ( CRS/CRCrap) TIA, roger

Other  Cocking lever location

On my quest for the next air gun acquisition, I am all excited on the rifle until I realize the cocking lever is next to the butt pad on the rear of the gun stock. Disappointed, I move on in my search. You see, though having not shot a rifle so equipped I am nervous it would be cumbersome for me to make function correctly. So help me out please. Am I the only one with this fear of spending my money on a quality pcp only to be ergonomically disappointed? Or tell me to stop your worrying, Your making something outta nothing I will get used to it and be happy. 😕

PCP Rifle  WTS (New PICS) New Saber Tact FX Impact M3 Sniper (Bronze) in .22 (w/ Every S.T. Accessory)

20250411_094615.jpg

I sent this in for an o-ring replacement after only shooting it 2 or 3 times over the 2 years I owned it. Utah Airguns decided the new M3 block was better so they switched out my main Impact reciever block with the latest M3 block and re-sealed everything, and tuned it. So this is essentialy a brand new bronze M3 with almost every Saber Tactical accessory available. It has never been shot since coming back from Utah. You get the case, magazine, Impact rifle in .22 cal and everything you see here. I also have a bag of the original parts from before the Saber Tactical parts were installed. (Tripod not included).

This sat in the case the whole time I owned it accept for 2-3 times I made videos with it. I can send you some links if you would like to see the accuracy of this gun. I never shot it because I have about 40 airguns already, and no free time. Sorry about all the pictures. I just want to show how new the gun is. Just another "Airgun Channel Safe Queen"....looking for someone who will shoot it!

Price: $1895 free shipping. You can PM me here or email me at [email protected] Thanks -Nate

  • Question
Parallax Wheel Interference Issue

I recently purchased a very nice TX200 MkIII with a Sightron S-TAC 4-20x50 scope from a fellow AGN member. The rifle works flawlessly and is very accurate. The only issue is the scope isn’t level with the rifle. This would be an easy fix if it weren’t for the parallax wheel. When level, the wheel interferes with the gun’s stock. I‘m primarily a small game hunter but I was hoping to give Field Target a try in the Spring, so accuracy matters.

I’m hoping people with more experience could layout some options. Here are the ones I can think of:
1) Buy a smaller wheel. The one that came with the sale has a 5” diameter. I think a 4” wheel would do the trick.
2) Carve a chunk out of the stock to provide clearance to the wheel. This is NOT an option for me. This rifle is way to nice to do that.
3) Do they make parallax knob extenders? I figure moving the wheel out 1/4” would do the trick.
4) Rotate the scope out-of-level to avoid the interference.
5) Other…Is there a simple fix to this situation that I’m just not seeing?

Advice needed on caliber selection

I am looking to get back into airguns (loved them as a kid). My main use will be shooting paper on my own property. To keep all the neighbors happy, I will almost certainly need to use lead free ammo (it's a wetland area).

My question is, should I go up in Caliber to compensate for the lighter lead free ammo? If so, how much should I go up if I was originally planning on a 22 caliber? 30 cal or 25 cal?

Would appreciate any advice

RAW Rapid  22cal RAW Efficiency

After well over a year of messing with my 22cal RAW, I'm finally done. I'm using a 21" LW 12-groove barrel that Scott machined for me, as I prefer the balance to the longer 23" barrels. I'm using an SSG in conjunction with a TM hammer. The reg is set to 135 Bar. I set it up to shoot MRD Light pellets at 35fpe (about 95% of max energy at this reg pressure), which average 1/2" groups at 50yds. I also swapped out the RAW chassis and MDT buttstock. I'm happy with the final setup.

I did a shot count yesterday. I'm getting 120 shots with an SD of 7 with a 3ksi fill, shooting down to about 125 Bar. Does my shot count seem about right for this power level?

Thanks!

PCP Rifle  SOLD Logun MKII .177 Price Drop

I bought this rifle a few years back for Hunter Field Target. .177 with a New Element Helix 6-24x50 scope with adjustable rings. I decided to shoot WFT. So built a custom gun for that instead. It has a small blemish on the stock you can see in the pics. Beautiful gun but I don't use it and hate to see a gun this nice just sit. I'm hoping to find her a forever home with someone that will appreciate her. Smoothest cocking bolt I've ever felt. 11 shot in-line magazine built in. Stupidly smooth trigger. Gun, scope, mounts, probe, and hardcase. $800 shipped CONUS.

PCP Rifle  WTS Custom Air Venturi Mini Bullpup .22 only 24" long

Hey guys,

This is a personal project I took on to build a mini bullpup out of the avenger.

It has a shortened barrel, recrowned and lapped.

Trigger modifications for a much more consistent and usable trigger. (Will potentially sell the trigger kit to people if there is enough interest)

Chopped stock

Custom moderator, barrel being shorter than factory is able to be freefloated and maintain excellent accuracy.

Dual mini air cylinders

The scope rail has been modified lightly to get the scope lower using low rings.

On a full fill, I believe it gets 50 shots at just over 20fpe. Loves Hades, and is an excellent squirrel gun.

Comes with two mags. Scope is a 30mm 4-14 SF ffp by truglo, very similar to the Bushnell FFP.

$500 shipped for gun, $600 with Scope reasonable offers entertained.

Get your one of a kind compact 24" bullpup here!

New Beeman AR2079A is looking like a real winner.

Last week I received a new Beeman AR2079A from Airgun Archer Fun in Canada. It is a .177 with a small hpa tank. I already have a Beeman AR2078B side lever CO2 that I really really like so I decided to roll the dice again and go for the hpa version. It took some work to make the 2078B into the great shooter that it is, so I knew what I was getting into with this new one. It’s all part of the fun. The internals on these are rough, but we are talking about sub $200 rifles. They are truly diamonds in the rough however.
This 2079A arrived with the same heavy trigger with plenty of creep and grittiness. Sounds like she is wasting air and the cocking effort is rough and inconsistent. Just what I was expecting; and I am looking forward to tearing her apart and smoothing everything out. However, right off the bat I’m thinking that I have a real winner here. I’ve done nothing so far, not even cleaned the barrel yet, and she’s shooting groups like these. These are five shot groups, at 12 yards, with the included aperture sights. I was rested on bags. I’m sure the bore is dirty, I know the trigger is “challenging“, but I’m really happy with this performance so far. I haven’t put her over the chrony yet but I will soon.

Introduction - New to PCP after 40+ years with Pew Pews

As a grey haired, semi-retired old dude, I'm excited to join this community. I am a PCP newb, just dipping my toes into the sport. I'm starting with a Barra 250Z .25 caliber rifle, a Huma-Air Mod 40 compensator, a Vertex Sonora 4-12 x 44 scope, .98 CI carbon fiber air tank, and a GX CS3 compressor.

While PCP powered pistols and rifles are new to me, gun powder has been a constant. Most of my pew-pews are based on the AR-15/10 platform, with long distance, (+500 meters), as my sport of choice. I also shoot pistols, trap and skeet. My interest in PCP rifles comes from my desire to shoot without the need to drive to the range or dropping two dollars every time I pull the trigger.

The first thing I did with my 250Z was take it apart. As everyone is probably aware, the Barra 250Z is a LONG rifle. And once you mount a moderator/suppressor, the length can become an issue. (FYI, the Barra 250Z absolutely requires an after market moderator to be back yard friendly - out of the box this puppy is loud!) To make the rifle easier to transport, in addition to a quick suppressor mount, I wanted to utilize a LAW folding buffer tube adapter. (a knock off - I'm not using a real LAW adapter that costs more than the rifle). I discovered the buffer tube on the Barra 250Z is not Mil Spec. I could not fit the LAW adaptor, or a standard AR-15 buffer tube. I had to run a 1 3/16"- 16 tap to open up the threads for a Mil Spec buffer tube/adapter.

All in all, the buffer tube was a personal mod - so no real issue. And after a good cleaning and reassembly, I have a pretty sweet back yard tack driver I can shoot for pennies a shot without upsetting the neighbors. Life is good!
