IMHO: The 10 days and 10 posts rule injurys the buyer and seller and creates negative experience for new members. Can someone explain how barring new members from being able fully participate benefits Airgun Nation. This rule creates a lose lose scenario seller lose and Buyer, Buyer loses change to purchase his prize and feel like a member. Instead a collector googles say crosman - search bring him to Airgun Nation but he doesn't know that even after signing up the new member is second tier or less than a full member.

The rule forces participation in your site after it blocks you from particiapating really frustrating situation, think about it is it smart to force involvement. Please name for me one incident in the world where participation is forced and the situation is consider positive. I cannot think of a single example postive reinforcement as result of force complaint.

Can a moderater explain why we barr new menber from contact other members?

moisture in the compressed air ?

1. The ability of 'air' to carry water vapor depends mostly upon pressure and temperature, so an increase in pressure or drop in temperature can cause condensation. - The fact is that the air is hot going in, so it cools in the tanks, and that's the most significant and common event that leads to condensation inside the gun/tank.

maybe too much coffee thinking ? what if you cool the air before it enters your gun or tank ? an inline chiller . compressed air from your compression source enters a chiller (thnk a cooler full of ice water ). Then enters the water/ oil filter then fills the tank / gun ? would that cold air/ water vapor release the vapor into the filter medium before it enters the gun / tank ?
Like i said , maybe too much coffee ?

Relationship Between Donny FL and Sabre Tactical

After watching some airgun videos last night, I learned that the owner of Donny FL is also the co-owner of Sabre Tactical. I had no idea that Sabre Tactical makes gear for military use. Now I’m not sure, but I read about Sabre Tactical starting in New Zealand. Interesting backstory. I wonder how Donny hooked up with this outfit. Anyone know?

N/A  Quietest Airgun

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for something very quiet in .22 caliber to shoot raccoons in my backyard. I don't want my neighbors to hear it. I have no set budget. I currently have a few leshiy 2's and a steyr x pro but I was wondering if there is something even quieter? I've heard the marauder in .22 is very quiet - is this with or without suppressor? Thanks so much!

Which vintage rifle is giving 10 shots in the 10 ring at 10 meters 10 -10. maybe a just a bragging, with target proof?

Which vintage rifle is giving 10 shots in the 10 ring at 10 meters 10 -10. maybe a just a bragging, with target proof? I am the a new guy on this board so I thouhjt I would see if any vintage 10-10 shooter were lurking around on this forum. Probably should show targets if you are going to brag a little in public because 10-10 should be just passe for this members with vintage target rifles and years practice. I did not mean to suggest any of us are getting "old" just because we brought the vintage new we are original owners.

I just cannot see so good so scopes make a "gentleman with a few years under his belt see that 10 ring thing. Remember the bell targets years ago those were fun. 10 shot got you a ring!
Also I am aiming to buy a few vintage pistols from other members who are selling. Funny how many people were showing for old Hyscore pistol so they really popular?

Or is it just CTShooter in on an Ad so folks show-off all their wares kind like CT Shooter ad started a thread reaction? cool interaction I like the Hyscores it would be good to buy more.

Buy More --Wow -- That is a thread topic. Not sure if spending too much on airguns is just a problem in our house. Think I will post that in air pistols too since vintage handgun are and enjoyment I like to indulge.

NLA "Dragonfly" 177 caliber moderator

Just right and just in time for squirrel season.

This resin printed moderator is 30.5mm (1.2") x 89.9mm (3.62") and 1.75 ounces (49.6 gm).
It is almost exactly the same size as a Huggett Atom. It weighs 1/3 less and it is rated at 35 fpe.

I've tested it on my Stormrider and was shooting one ragged hole at 25 yards with no wind.
If your gun will do it, this moderator will do it.

1/2 UNF threads printed (no steel insert)
177 caliber
$40.00 to your door.

This moderator contains 3 baffles. It can not be disassembled. Cleaning is accomplished by soaking in warm soapy water, threaded end up over night. Generally this is done by my testers every few thousand rounds. Particularly egregious fouling could be removed with any household cleaner as the plastic is not sensitive to reasonable use of acetone and/or denatured alcohol.

CONUS only.

I will ship outside of CONUS but we will have to work out that price.

PayPal only. I will send you an invoice after I have your email address.

Money back upon return if you are not pleased for any reason.
Contact me for return postage if necessary.

Think I will post that in air pistols too since vintage handgun are and enjoyment I like to indulge. Wife sent me out to get help so I went to the one of those meetings . . . .My name is 10-10, and cannot stop buying airguns. Hope you guys have sense of humor. My wife jokingly states she sending me AA= Airgun Anonymous. Lately my weakness includes adding Hyscore rifle and pistols to collection even through they are really just Diana Models (rifle) by a lots of makers.

Not sure if this thread should not be posted in the classified ad member forum, lol or haha (pick your laughter). Do not want the moderaters firing squad for posting in wrong section or forum I am really new to this post stuff, So If I can find an Airgun Anonymous meeting I will admit to wanting to buy more Hyscore pistols too (I have few, already), But I want more more more lol haha. I read the membership stuff about new guys not being able to send message for 10 days so I cannot interact and send messages for10 days to other member so all the joking aside I am looking to buy more Hyscore pistol?

HW/Weihrauch  Artillery Hold v Free Recoil

Got my first springer a few weeks ago. Learning how to shoot it and despite 60 plus years of shooting various firearms and some airguns, and being not too bad of a marksman, I am taking some time to master the artillery hold. It is coming though and I do find the challenge of a springer very enjoyable. Heck, I like everything about my HW35 and I have an HW97 coming today.

Still, I know in firearm benchrest, both rimfire and centerfire, the most effective technique is usually free recoil, and if I understand it correctly, it removes the human factor from the process even more. For that reason, despite its efficacy I did not use it much as it was not as much fun as being more involved in the process myself. I wonder though, for those wanting the ultimate accuracy from their springer from the bench why do they not just go all the way to free recoil? Perhaps some of you do and I just have not read of it.

I am also wondering why I am finding this whole air rifle thing so much more enjoyable than my firearm shooting, but that should probably be a separate thread.

EDgun  Inherited some airguns. This Edgun I cant figure out!

Hello. I recently had a couple pellet guns passed down to me, one of them being an Edgun brand Leshiy 1(?) .22 The single shot with no magazine and a digital gauge.

This one was still boxed up however couldn't find any manual. I apologize but I know very little about these and its workings other than what I have been able to search briefly.
It did have about 190bar still in the tank so I found some pellets and gave it a go. Shot just fine. I got a friend with a pump and filled back up 3 or 4 times over the next few days and shot a bit more. It started getting odd POI changes that were not present on that first day (it was hole in hole that first day). Also need to mention after doing nothing other than refilling the tank, it shot very low that I could see the pellets lob out of the gun and hit the ground before the target. Nothing like it shot that first time. Almost like the more air I put in the slower it shot. Then once the air gets a little lower it ramps back up? Should be the other way around right? lol. Anyways I was able to borrow a friends paintball chrony and this is where I noticed large FPS gains/changes.
Here is an example. This was with 21gr weight pellets(all we had that day)
680
677
679
681
683
679
686
685
(Here is where FPS starts to really climb) Around 185 bar per the electric gauge
691
719
745 (165 BAR)
769
798 (159 BAR)
805
812 (143BAR)
796 (130BAR) Also got audibly louder at this point but less FPS?
773 (119BAR)

I ran out of those pellets and bought some lighter ones and did a repeat. Same thing. Lower FPS at the start
743-ish for the first 8 shots or so then went up every shot after that all the way to 902 at the end. If any of this information helps, I can tell you I counted the Hammer/velocity adjustment on the front at 20 clicks. I read counter-clock is more FPS and clockwise is lower? Any idea what is making it do this? Is it fixable? Am I doing something wrong? If there is any other useful info I can provide, Ill do my best. Thanks in advance for anyone's time. This is the only one out of the bunch that behaves like this. I may just end up selling half this stuff anyway but thought Id see if someone on an airgun forum could at least help!

Saber Tactical Pro Universal Bench Monopod - ST0069

I just saw this on the ST web site, and I have been interested in it for almost two years. We (Dave Wilson @dwilson050) and I got to try one of the prototypes out at RMAC 2021, so it has been in development for quite some time. Knowing Thayne and Val, I'm sure they didn't want to release it until it was just about perfect, and both have been using it this year at the 100Y BR tournaments that they have dominated. Looking forward to trying out the production model - I've ordered one already and hope to use it at EBR.

Put a cork in it.....

Went out to Ground Squirrel permission, the Horsemans Assoc.. Had my Maverick Compact .22 with RMR/FX 22 gr. hybrids. Nice day, got there early, saw one at 65 yards, managed to annoy it, missed to the right by 1/4". Maintained our vigil and finally out at 125 yard a few came up, took a shot and...missed by a mile. Ok double checked things and scope was off a bit but...got more shots and more misses, the little suckers went to ground, they'd had enough. I just happened to have a cork in my pocket so, my buddy Pete hoofed it out 100 yards and put it on a log, shot missed shot missed, picked a dirt clod at 98 yards, missed, adjusted, missed, adjusted and poof no little dirt clod, I was off 2.5moa in elevation WTH. Aimed at the cork and off it went, Pete found it but no mark on it. He repositioned it and wedged it in a crack. Shot and nailed it. My elevation is now set and the set screws on the turret that kept coming loose are now purple locktite'd on.

New to me Daystate Griffin

I bought this from fellow forum member kdog and I've only had a it few days but it is a fantastic rifle! I mounted my SWFA SS 12x scope and I've already got about a tin of pellets through it. I shot this benchrest target at 25 meters today, with a slight breeze but nothing to fret over. I used Norma Golden Trophy FT 9.1gr. and FX 10.3 gr. pellets. I shot 4 (5 shot) groups with the Norma and only 2 (5 shot) with the FX. I think the Normas were a tad better (barely), so I think I'll work with those for a while.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Weihrauch HW-100T FSB .22 cal with extras - Mint!

Up for sale my Weihrauch HW-100T FSB.
This is one of the original HW100T's with a fully shrouded barrel.
Mint, like new with only one magazine of pellets fired for initial testing. Multiple pellets through one hole at 25 yards.

Regarding accuracy, the 0.22 shrouded, 12 groove, barrels are without issue (which is my experience my rifle) . The problem 0.22 HW100s have 6 groove barrels.

Purchased as a backup to my FX 400 Royale .22 cal. Never needed it: The Royale never let me down for pest control.

I have a Hawk Nite Eye scope currently mounted. It works perfectly and is a great match for this rifle. Lens covers included.
Here's a review of the scope:

If you are not interested in the scope, I will separate the scope from the rifle and accessories if needed.
Asking $600 for the rifle shipped/insured obro.
Asking $200 for the scope, shipped/insured obro.

Shown in the pics (apologies for the out-of-focus pics..will redo them upon request) is a good-quality silencer purchased at the time of the rifle (0DB silencers were not around back then). Never installed.

Everything in the pics is included (except the hard shell case-sold), including a second, higher-capacity air cylinder (purchased from AOA), a fill port adapter, an owner's manual, and other extras.
I purchased this new from AOA (Shawn) and the pics on the stand were sent to me by Shawn, showing the nice grain pattern. I had my choice of 3 at the time. This one had the nicest grain.

I will ship in a generic fabric rifle case well packed in a shipping box, fully insured at my cost.

Asking $800. OBRO.

I will be happy to answer any questions via PM.

PCP Rifle  SOLD FX Maverick Compact 177

$1.200.00 plus shipping for everything you see.

Purchased from Utah Airguns in May of 2023, so still under warranty. Comes in the original box and all the pieces it came with. Included is the STUD loader, 2 FX 22 rd mags, 2 Orion 21 round mags, and a 177 and 25 single shot loader. I replaced the factory reg gauge with a Wika, but I include the factory one also. Also included are breach o-rings, x-rings for the gauges, and a complete o right for the whole gun ( it is missing the ones for the barrel inlet/transfer port pieces, i used both after I polished it.) Not pictured, but it will come with a new FX barrel inlet 8.8 on schematic (transfer port.) The current inlet piece has cosmetic marks from removal when I polished it. It operates fine, I just wanted to include it for the buyer. There is a small scratch on the barrel housing, the photo is included. Light wear where a tripod was installed before I decided a bag was better for bench shooting. I don't need the power of a dual reg gun for what I do, and I want a traditional rifle not a bullpup.
I have shot a 197 in the 30 yard challenge with this rifle and Crosman 10.5's

Reg is currently set for less velocity right now. It set to shoot 10.5gr around 12FPE.
