Many years ago before I got into PCPs I had permission to go after chucks at the local orchard. And boy did I punish them with my CZ452 .22 rimfire, but had to pass up lots of shots. There were also tons of pest birds I couldn’t engage. The years pass, the orchard changed hands and I lost touch and was out. The two local dairies ceasing operations also put a serious dent in my pest kills. Fast forward to this evening when I attended our Sportsmen’s Club last meeting of the year. There I was able to chat with a fellow member who is the liaison for the orchard. Long story short, they need help badly with chucks inside and around the buildings. And I bet there will be incidental shots at pest birds. So come Spring, I will be pesting at the orchard. Am seriously stoked as the orchard is less than 10 minutes away. My BRKs will be unleashed with a vengeance.

Tagged out on bucks in October with an 11 and 7 point and have since harvested 4 more does! 2 with crossbow and 2 more with my .457 carbine Piledriver! The whole family is eating well this year!
This one last night at 38 yards with a heart shot! Didn't go 20 yards. 120 pounds decent sized deer!

It's always nice to have options. Decided to pull the .30 bbl from the Raw and install an almost new .25 bbl. One can switch calibers in 10 minutes. Didn't touch a thing in setting. The .25 push jsb 25.5 @ 960 fps for 53 fpe. The 25 bbl will soon be headed to AZ for the full bull shroud treatment.

Personally, I only belong to one forum, this one. Been on a few others like AR15, Honda VTX, Ford Diesel. Com. I really enjoyed the VTX forum when I owmy 1800 VTX but none of them were as good as this site.

I’m looking at getting a PCP and shopping for a midrange gun. I like the looks and features of the Air Venturi X Tactical, is there anything out there that has comparable features close to that price range? It would have to be considerably better for me to spend an extra 200-300. Most of my shooting will be in the 30-50yd range at targets in my backyard.

Got this with the intention of using it for one of my rifles but that never happened. 20" LW / stainless / .177 / OD .63" / polygonal with no choke.

You know, we've all done it before .You have some component unused so rather than sell it...(the anwser) You buy something more expensive so you can use the stuff up.

Today I went against my judgment and bought an HW30 .20. I already have a 177 and .22 and i'm quite happy. But I have about 20 tins of the old gold labeled JSB Exacts just sitting there from an R9 I sold many years ago.

probably not the best caliber for an R7/HW30 but the .22 I recently bought is quite nice and needed a companion.

question- has anyone used the lighter FTT pellets? I've thought about ordering a few tins.

After a year or so of messing around with setups, tunes, and so on, I finally have all my rifles exactly as want them shooting damn near perfectly. Put a few mags through each one today as a celebration for resigning from my soul-sucking job. Thought I would take a shot before I mess something up again.

Is there a way to determine the year of manufacture or build date.of a Benjamin Marauder?

The Gauntlet .30 now sports a side lever, a most welcomed improvement I'm sure.

So I ordered the hype and drank the Kool-Aid with the pure intent to hunt with it while in the deer stand or up close and personal and the hole that aftermarket mods for furniture like an AR to be added suit my needs such as low variable scope and stock.
So that being said have just jumped on a hopingem train with that idea!
Any hunters out there please free to five feedback. Not into paper shooting.

Ive never looked into any .177 sluggers and have been curious the last few weeks, what have you guys found that shoot 177 slugs well?

I have finaly started to realize I can shoot my air rifle's alot more the my other fire arm rifles.
I do not have to leave the house.
My first pcp was a JTS MAX in .22 cal. Which is amazing, but I always wanted an Air Arms 510.
They are absolutley beautiful in every aspect.
I was fortunate to find a used one in excellent shape. This one was manufactured in 2013 so it is not moderated but it is amazing.
I picked up a JTS compressor earlier this year, so filling it is a breeze.
Shooting this rifle is just pure enjoyment. It is just a privilage to shoot. It came with a Hawke Sidewinder 8 x 32 x56 older scope which is also amazing.
Currently I am only shooting 12 yards in my basement. I belong to a sportsmen's club so I will have to take it there for longer range.
Funny story, I was shooting my JTS MAX at the club and a fellow shooter asked why on earth was I wear ear muffs ?
I laughed to myself and said because everyone else is shooting centerfire rifle's.
I won the Stock lotto with this rifle, It is the most beautiful rifle I own. It is in .22 cal.
I bought a used AIR ARMS TX200 last year in Beech stock. I was so impressed with Air Arms, I sold the used TX200 and bought a new one in Walnut.
Air Arms rifles are very expensive to me but after shooting them they are worth every penny.
I did have to replace to rubber seal in the magazine already but that was easy.
Now I have to figure out what to sell to pay for the S510 purchase.

Retails for $595 for the FFP version. Is on backorder and sometimes hard to find. In my opinion, one of the best compact scopes without going to the very high end category. This is American made, amazing quality, super lightweight and compact. Basically the same size as a Vector Veyron but much better quality. Very clear glass that doesn't have too thin of a reticle at lower magnification.

These work great on a small platform like the Leshiy Classic, L2, and the Lelya (which I have used it on all) or any rifle you want to keep the weight down on.

First question: I have two pumps and a compressor and several air tanks with gauges, and all gauges show different numbers from one another. It is impossible to know what the actual pressure is.
Does anyone know if pump/compressor hoses exist, that allow a 1/8 BSP thread pressure gauge to be installed on the hose itself somewhere? Or maybe an adaptor that sits between the hose and the pump, or between the hose and the air tank?
I have an electronic pressure gauge that I could install somewhere, and which I think might be most believable, but the most obvious place would be on the hose itself somewhere, which would make it reusable.

Notice, how there is a red colored piece at the end of the hose. This is a filter for oil/water. Should the hose be installed with the filter towards the air tank, as it is on this picture? Shouldn't this end be connected to the pump? What about the bigger size pump filters, like this one:

Should this filter also be connected on the air tank side (to the quick attach probe)?
