For sale is one of the most accurate rifles I've owned. It's the longer length with the rarer Walnut "Skeletonized" Stock that makes it much lighter. At the time of buying, no other guns had this stock. This gun is basically a new and improved version of the Edgun Matador. It has an amazingly accurate CZ Hammer Forged barrel.


The gun was sent in to Ernest Rowe, the man himself, to do his tune job special for the Crickets.
The rifle was;
- Crowned and polished barrel
- Installed custom spring for the action and metal valve spring replacing the factory's
- Installed a De-pinger (no twang or any sound from the rifle)
- Rebuilt the factory regulator to a custom setup
- Upgraded every factory O-ring and completely lubed and resealed the gun
- Installed a custom trigger that was tuned for an amazingly light pull
- Upgraded the gun's fill rate and ported the shroud for extra silence.
This gun only makes noise from the pellet hitting.


He set it up for a custom shot string (pictured) keeping the gun around 50FPE for with only an 11 FPS deviation! It can do 60~ shots before real accuracy loss, this can be edited with the custom power knob I bought from Ernest Rowe to add more power or add more shots. This thing is a tack driver at 100yards and farther!

When I purchased this rifle they were brand new and available to pre-order only, in the range of $1800+ This setup plus the price of the custom tune and extras was nearing 2k~

Is PyramydAIR a top tier airgun vendor for someone looking at this sport as a potential new hobby?

There is a little lever on the right of our Edgun Leshiy 2. When depressed, it lifts a pin that allows the rifle to open (unfold) on a hinge. At that point, the rifle taken down, i.e., separated by a release button into two pieces.

When I press the little lever, the pin does not lift, thus the rifle cannot be opened to swap magazines. It is currently a doorstop. I will not force it.

I lightly lubricated the pin, to no effect.

Any ideas what might be preventing opening the rifle? Phoning the dealer who sold it to me is not an option, for a number of reasons. Thanks!

Unfortunately, college is quite pricey so I have to sell some stuff for now. I have an Impact M3 that’s had quite a bit done to it. 700m, 25 cal, superior heavy liner, an accu tac bipod, not sure which one, and then some internal stuff. Different grip on it as well. Not sure I want to sell the gold bipod. I Have an Athlon Ares on top but I think I’ll keep that. A bunch of 25. cal slugs, NSA and Zan. Then an FX Dreamline in 25. cal that I hardly ever got around to using and is still completely stock. It’s got an Athlon Argos BTR on top. I have a Maverick set up in a 480cc CF bottle and a 500 mm .22 barrel shooting JSB 18 grain pellets about 880 fps. The slug probe and digital gauge are installed right now. The digital gauge is a must if you plan on tuning. Will come with 6 mags, 1 single shot loader, 1 pellet probe, 3 different hammer weights, and a 700 mm .22 slug barrel. The slug barrel shoots the JSB KO 25 grain extremely well. Not interested in any trades. The pellet barrel will be removed when shipped but its very easy to reinstall it once you get it. Will sell for $1,000 shipped within the CONUS. The tanto is not included but can be included for an extra $75. I have sold/bought here on AGN for years and many people know me. Hi all, I am about as new as they come to all manners of air guns. Back story I am 65 years old and not in the best of health, I am blind in my right eye and now have a pacemaker near the left collar bone right at the point where the buttstock rests. I have enjoyed shooting sports and hunting most of my life but now I have restrictions. Now I am looking into air rifles. I have traded for a Benjaman Trail NP .22 that needs resealed, I am also looking at a Umarex Gauntlet .25 PCP to start my journey. I would welcome any constructive thoughts and/or advice as I start down this path.

I'm considering the purchase of a Wildcat MK3 VP in 25 caliber and replacing the aluminum bottle with a 480 cc CF bottle. I like the 600 mm barrel length. Those of you that have that combo and shoot slugs, what brand slugs and diameter does this gun like the best with the standard superior barrel and what velocity? Thanks.

Well, I confess I am not at all good with my hands, not any kind of handyman at all. But this one is strange and I think it is probably something that might be obvious to those on AGN that are gifted with mechanical ability. I have a Williams FP-AG-TK peep that was mounted for a long time on a CZ457 22lr with 11mm. dovetail. I moved it to my HW35 a while back and it worked fine. I removed it to use a scope for a while and then tried to mount it on the 35 again. It would not fit on properly. I did not do anything to it that could have harmed it. I tried it also on my HW30 and have the same problem. Here are pictures that might give a clue to you guys, but I am clueless. Any suggestions?

Well the squirrels have finally decided to hide their nuts (acorns). I was able to "harvest" 2 today about an hour and a half apart. Both headshots although the 2nd turned to the side and I have not moved him. Neither moved after the shots except the familiar nerve twitching. Wolverine R 177 using JSB 10.34 pellets running at 18FPE with a Huggett Sniper moderator. The first was taken at about 22 yards the second at 19. I have a Maven RS.1 2.5-15x44 scope that I can't say enough about. The gun is just dead on at and past 50 yards and needless to say closer.

i finally nailed one of the main culprits wreaking havoc at my chicken coop ..the bulldog didnt disappoint .. from what my neighbor with chicken problems as well has told me theres several of them around ...
..anyway got it with a couple of polymags, an atn xsight4k, and the 9mm bulldog.

Walked into a gun shop, imagine that. Just about to leave and in the corner of my eye I caught this vice. Talked to the gunsmith, he has two. And said doesn’t get any better.
Took one home. I clamped it on the end of my bench. My oh my, this thing is awesome. Very secure and when contorting into different positions and lock it, solid. Check this out. $400. up here in Canada, pricey, but worth it. I’m going to guess $250. to $300. in US. Crow

The UTG 3-12x44 finally bit the dust on my HW50. I'm looking for some suggestions for a new, fairly compact FT scope for this rig. This scope actually ranged pretty well up until about 40 yards. I've tried the newer UTG 4-16x44 scopes, as well as a Hawke AIRMAX 30 SF COMPACT 6-24X50. I found both of those scopes to be fairly mushy throughout the range. Are there some better options out there?

I saw an ad online for an air rifle and really wanted to buy it but how do you guys verify people are legit? He wasn't a member of any of the forums. He gave me a Houston cell number, was using one email for the ad and gave me another gmail address, and gave me an Alaska address, which was legit. But I could do all of that and until you look up my name and address and match them up you really have nothing. Heck my grandson lives with us in WV and has a TX cell number, so how do you verify all this?

I'm in the market for a Compact PCP

I used to have a Brocock Specialist in .22 a long time ago and really loved the gun for my backyard setup, was pretty accurate and the extreme lightweight was great.
I haven't done any "airgunning" in almost 7~ years! I've recently been getting back into it and am amazed with all the new innovative guns and trying to catch up on the information out there.

I've read/seen different things about Brocock lately, has the quality or performance changed overall in the past years? What do you think would be a good compact .22 to go for if I'm excluding FX airguns and bullpup designs?

I've heard amazing things about American Air Arms, and the Mini 22 looks great but I am wondering at the differences in price point how much better are they truly than a Brocock or similar setups.
The Brocock Ranger XR appeals to me purely based on the tactical look and the Pathfinder isnt too far behind...

So TLDR, what would you guys recommend for some compact models or is the American Air Arms Mini 22 nearly the best option out there?

Just starting to read about Benchrest scoring, and I think I've got some of the basics down, but how does 10x scoring work? I know what a 10x shot looks like on the target, but how does it affect your score in a match?

For instance...

Does a 247 beat a 246-10x?

Does a 247-10x automatically beat a 247?

How do multiple 10x targets affect your score? For instance, how would three 10x targets be recorded on your scorecard? 247-(3)10x etc?

So, is 10x scoring used as a tie breaker?
