I have a gaming laptop only 2 weeks only wanting to trade for an airgun .25 or .30

I haven't shot my my leshiy since 8th August. I did measure the pressure to be 170bar. Its stored inside the house. Today the pressure, 6 weeks later, is 163 bar. Is this considered normal given the fall in air temperature? Or should it be reading 170bar? should i be looking for a leak? thoughts anyone?

My outside reactive target course consists of about two dozen spinners and small steel plates on chains, ftom various distances beginning at 25 yards and out to 87. The spinners range from 15mm to 25mm in size. Normally I am shooting at these with a keenly regulated 40 to 70 fpe gun.

Today, in a light breeze, I pulled out the Daystate Wolverine B Hi Lite in .22, non regulated and shooting the AA 16 Gr pellet at only 27 fpe. I never missed one of the spinners all of the way out to 87 yards, and the AA 16 Gr pellet smacked them with authority. Even at the end of two mags, and even though not regulated, it seemed to be shooting dead on.

We forget we really don’t need all of the bells and whistles but please don’t tell our wives that.

BTW - purchased this rifle from an AGN member for my collection a few years ago. It is one of the most accurate rifles I own. He never should have sold it.

What options do i have for Stock Or not stock airgun .25 cal, that is capable 150yards/150meter target shooting. Can be budget, wont have to be super highend. It can eather be for group shooting, or atleast hit size of Football. Would love it to be full auto/semiauto if possible. Is my option only like Huben k1 ? not so familiar with these. Feel free to share your opinion, and if some pcp needs to be tuned, it would be nice to also know how much i would need to do and what. Stock shoots 840/890 fps / 61-62 joule AND assuming they have used 24 grain or something i think ?. Now it shoots those Jsb 33.95's @ 271 m/s average, so like 900 fps with those. It was a Big 1x1m rifle target, and i had to sigh over the whole targer, and got 3 shots from 10 to lowdown on whole thing..

Brand new to air guns and I am researching PCP rifles. I traded for a Benjaman break barrel .22 for plinking, now I am looking for a hunting rifle mainly for hog but might go whitetail down the road. as I now I am looking at .30 vs .35 calibers. Am I looking at what I should be? or do I really need to step up from there? The internet is quite confusing on the subject and I don't want to go with the minimum, but I am disabled ad don't want to much either.

I asked on another board earlier, and hope to find some experts here... I just picked this Daisy Break Barrel up today & wondering if I did ok for $50. It shoots but twangs loud! Seller thought it was from around 1950's? Says "Daisy Model 1000, Rogers AR USA", but barrel says "Made in Spain"...
Seems fairly powerful, .177cal. Chrony 7.9g @805fps! Curious if I could find a spring or piston seal, if needed. This thing is too twangy!

Awesome shooting rifle. Loves cphp, hades, jsb 18gr and jsb monster redesign pellets. I prefer bullpups which is why I’m letting this go. Scope and mod not included but can be discussed.

I see AOA has a HW90K, does anyone know anything about this gun? I don't see anything on Weihrauch's web site on it.

Specs say it's a 12" barrel so it must have some sort of moderator. Of course AOA has no actual or updated image of the gun, just a standard HW90 it appears.

I wonder if you need a winch to cock this thing? Interesting gun.

The season opener is tomorrow. When I see animals like this the day before, I can’t help but wonder, “do they even know what’s around the corner?” I was shocked they couldn’t figure out that I was there.

It's been a few days now. First thing I will say is, wow, is this gun hard to cock and it weighs a ton. I'm OK with the cocking for I've been use to the Crow Magnum and I have the technique down pat. Spent a lot of shooting time and pellets zeroing in the scope at 30 yards. JSB Match DIABOLO EXACT .20 cal, 13.73 gr. These pellets are shooting just fine with I'm sure is at max pressure. I recently discovered that the scope mounts were not torqued to specification for the two mounts so I torqued than myself, 55 inch pounds. That resulted in throwing off my zero by and inch both elevation and windage. Got it back to zero but my elevation is nearly maxed out on the scope. Yep, barrel droop no doubt. Don't they make mounts to compensate for the droop? I have no idea the velocity but from the impacts and that the pellets are punching through 3/4" plywood give me a clue. Fortunate that these pellets are perfect. Good thing to because I had already bought 5 cans. What a super gun this is. Tired of shooting paper. No to destroy some fun targets.....

My wife put a half water melon at my 20 yd mark. It’s been there almost a week. Does it ever attract Horse flies, House flies and wasps. Before lunch I nailed 35 flies and 7 wasps. A new record for me. Some only got wounded, missing antenna, close shave, missing a few legs, what a blast, revenge.Must have been good water melon, helped him digest it.
‘The machine that did all the damage….HW50 black .177. Put a Vortek spring in this puppy. JSB 8.44 grain. Deadly combo. I actually got the idea from a member on this forum to shoot bugs. Love it. There is so much satisfaction. Flies land on the rocks around the melon, big mistake.
The melon is always working. When ever I see it getting busy, walking or drive by, blackie is near by. Doesn’t take long to clear them out. Crow

If zeroed at 100yds what would you think the holdover should be? I tried shooting at 200yds with no luck I could hear the pellet hitting the plywood target hanger but no luck hitting target. I'm shooting a M3 in 25cal with JSB exact king 25.39gr.

Ok so I'm in the market for a multi purpose big bore air rifle. Me and my wife do alot of overlanding alone and have decided to buy a air rifle for several reasons. We camp alone near bears and need something that at point blank range would atleast slow one down. "we just recently had a very close encounter with one outside our tent. We camp alone on in places where phones don't work. I would also like to use it occasionally to deer and hog hunt. However it needs to be small enough to carry with us when we camp and maneuverable in close quarters. I'm debating between 45 caliber and 50. The two on the top of my list are bintac m50c with 22 inch barrel and a Texan carbine. I might consider a Benjamin bulldog if I ran up on one at tge right price. Any suggestions, advice and knowledge is welcome and appreciated. Thanks

Tenacious Airguns

Over the last two months I added to my collection in .22 a BRK Ghost and an Impact MKIII. Both have the 600mm barrel. Both came from The Pellet Shop where I received exemplary service before and after the purchase. Bin talked me through my tuning questions and I am very pleased with their performance.

Shooting the JSB Jumbo Monster Redesigned 25.4 Gr pellets, both are now slinging them within 5 fps of each other at +/- 960. Both show extreme consistency with an SD of 2 fps across 20 shot strings. Both will group 10 shots within an inch at 84 yards and literally stack pellets on top of each other at 50 yards.

I find the FX to be much smoother In the cocking cycle and to have a better trigger. I also feel the FX is more adaptable to about any airgun situation. The larger capacity magazine is nice, too.

The Ghost just feels more solid in the construction and doesn’t seem to be as maintenance finicky, but time will tell. It sure is easy to adjust the velocity up and down. The magazine can’t get any easier to load, insert, or remove.

Bottom line - both great rifles.

The FedEx driver asked if I wanted to refuse delivery, but I accepted it.
Tried to operate the bolt and it wouldn't budge. Applied over 50 pounds of upward pull figuring there was nothing to loose. Noticed the plunger assembly didn't look like anything in any photo's or manuals. The finish on the plunger assembly looks like crap. It was backed out too much as visible in photo. Tightening it down some released the bolt and it operates but it's going to need some work.
Ordered it from one of the biggest corporations that I would normally never do business with but price was too good.
My thoughts are to talk with Crosman. I don't have a way to air it up until FedEx delivers a compressor on Monday, hoping it arrives in better condition.

I am so saddened to report this here.
Josh has several times in the past year or two requested small sums of money to help him out between paychecks etc. I have helped him many times. He has always paid me back. Recently he said he needed some money again and that he would send his Pro Sport as collateral. I know he has one because we have discussed it many times, it's even in his Avatar.
This is a long standing member here with nearly 1000 posts and 100% positive feedback.

Rather than hold the gun as collateral, I offered to purchase it for 400.00 plus shipping plus the outstanding balance he currently owed me. All in, I would still be getting a reasonable but not outstanding deal on this used rifle. All of our dealings were through Paypal and while he was on the phone with me. I know him well and his voice is very distinctive. There is no chance this was anyone else. After all was said and done, today I received the package from Josh. A 2x4 in a trashed piece of cardboard!

I am deeply upset by this. I really do hope he gets some help for whatever would lead him to steal from a friend.
