The price range is about the same as big competition names like Steyr, Walther, Anschutz etc.

I have the T.R. Robb pellet sizers in .177 cal. and .22 cal. as well as the Pelletgage.com trays for checking pellet head size in both .177 cal. and .22 cal.
I am no longer using either of these products so it's time to find them a new home.
The two T.R. Robb sizers were just over $100 when I bought them and the trays on the Pelletgage.com website are selling (new) currently at $49 each.
I'd like to get $120 for all 4 of these items and I'll pick up shipping CONUS.

A question for the wider community as a whole.

When sitting down and working out your ballistic tables for your airguns what information specifically do you find useful and what do you want to discover exactly.

I see lots of programs and apps for calculating this stuff but I am not sure they are all that useful. What am I missing.

Hey all, not sure if this has been discussed before but I couldn’t come up with anything in my search. Long story short, I caved and bought a used R9 off AoA. When it arrived I discovered that it’s one of the OG Huntington Beach models in excellent condition.

Now I know this is an older gun, and I know AoA tests every used rifle before shipping, but I don’t know the history of this rifle and I haven’t had a chance to fire it yet. At the risk of screwing something up, I have a couple of questions.

1. How can I tell if this gun has been previously tuned, or needs to be tuned? I’m not sure how to assess the condition of the spring or seals, for example. Bear in mind I’m pretty new to this so still learning the terms.

2. I’ve seen advice to apply blue loctite to all of the screws holding the barrel in place. In the R9, are these just the flathead screws in the stock near the barrel?

I always thought the HW35 was an ugly duckling and I never could develop any interest in it. But after reading a number of posts on this and other forums by many that swear allegiance to this rifle, I had to see for myself. I recently bought one on sale in .177 caliber on AOA and have spent many enjoyable hours testing it in my 10M basement range. It shot great right out of the box with no twang or any other bad habits both with the factory iron sights and now with an Optisan CP scope perched on top. I've owned HW97Ks, HW95s, R9, R7s, R8s, but this one has become my favorite. Despite it's quirky looking stock and front lockup lever, this is truly a great rifle and I can understand why it's been in production since 1951. It's comfortable to shoot, not pellet picky and accurate. I'm in the process of shooting 20 5 shot groups with different pellets with this and my other rifles to see which is the king. Next up is my TX200.

I was last week-years old when out of curiosity I used GOOGLE AI to see what the minimum foot-pounds of energy was needed for pellets like the Crow Magnum, RWS Super H Point, Baracuda Hunter Extreme, etc need for expansion.

To my surprise, it had answers! And as it turns out, my (at that time) stock 392, with around 13+ FPE was below minimum by about 5 FPE (using the Crow Magnums as an example).

Just got a .22 fx m3 compact, I retuned it back to stock tune (ist reg, 150, second reg, 70, 16 on the 2. And 5 and a half turn) and it shot 803-808 fps very consistently on the jsp 18.1 grain. Is this normal? What's the best speed for the 18 grains? I know these are basic questions but bear with me as I'm very new to the Hobby. Thanks for any feedback

So I put a digital gauge on my ghost a few days ago to confirm a suspicion I had about the reg… Turns out the suspicion was justified. I usually had the reg at 140ish but since I had to degas anyway to put the gauge on it o lowered a bit to work my way up. At 250b bottle pressure, the reg is sitting at 124b. When shooting the bottle down, the following happens with the reg set point (I gave it 45 seconds refresh time between all shots):

- 123b reg at 235b bottle
- 122b reg at 220b bottle
- 121b reg at 205b bottle
- 120b reg at 190b bottle
- 119b reg at 175b bottle
- 118b reg at 165b bottle
- 117b reg at 155b bottle
- 116b reg at 145b bottle

I didn’t shoot it further down yet to let it sit at 145b to see how fast it creeps back up over a couple of hours. Now I get it that this is to some extent expected but assuming the reg will end up at like 114-115b with the bottle at 130b, that’s almost 10b of lost plenum pressure down from 250b… plus it’s almost a linear decline in set point, 1b every 15b bottle pressure or so.

Before I tear into it and look at the reg, anybody experienced something similar and has an idea what can be done about it other than polish and rebuild the reg? The reg was adjusted maybe 4-5 times from new over a year or so that I have it, of course never down under pressure.

RTI MORA .25 cal Standard Review after 4 months ownership

Hi fellas, here is my impressions about RTI Mora 4500 slugs after receiving it.

Again, I’m not sponsored nor I got anything in return for this…well.. if you consider a hat shipped with spare parts as being paid or sponsored, go ahead, it’s up to you.

I really like to be honest giving credits when it is deserved.

This time I will jump to conclusions first then I’m going to walk trough what I like and what I don’t. These are just my opinions and nothing comes from “ What I have been told” but straight from what I have experienced.


In my opinion, having tried/owned most of the major Airgun Manufactures the RTI Mora is a real gem and the best, most accurate slug Airgun ever tried. It’s reliable, consistent, it never ever looses it’s POI even after cleaning unless your remove the shroud, it’s not cold bore shot dependable which means you could virtually hit a target from your first shot without refreshing your plenum and it will maintain the same velocity reading from the first shot to the set Reg pressure with really tight standard deviation and extreme spread of less than 9 fps. If your gun doesn’t do that problems apart, it’s your fault due to an incorrect valve setting.

I’m not saying there is not anything else on the market but this gun suits all my needs.

A further explanation is necessary to explain what my needs are: my Mora is a hunting set up so I’m not necessarily looking for the best accuracy on paper what truly matters to me is power, killing power and a high BC because I love extreme long range hunting. I do not shoot in competitions, I do not care… so if you are more focused on PRS or target shooting this gun might not for you.

Most of my shots are from 80/100 m but inside 200 m range, and a good amount up to 350/400 m on steel.The only slug Brand capable of producing an awesome expandable projectile up to 300 m is ZAN Projectiles, at least here in Europe, other than that anything else stop expanding after 180 m, zipping trough a ballistic gel block like a pencil.

Another thing worth mentioning about this topic is that I do not shoot animals past 200 m normally, way too many variables and I do not like injuring those pests but it happened sometimes especially in the right conditions that I shot them so having a good hollow point slug is key.

Having said that, those Zan 45 gr slugs at 1033 fps delivering 107 ft/lbs or 145 j are unmatched precision and expansion by anyone else. They look like they were made for that fantastic RPB barrel which will stamp those tiny groups over and over again.: it’s a sub moa gun in the good weather conditions

What I like also about Mora is the ability to deliver a tremendous amount of power even with “only 600 mm barrel” and the possibility of running very high Reg pressures, talking about my Mora set up I’m testing the gun with only one Reg: I deleted the first Regulator and I’m running the second Reg with 180 bar pressure. I have to say I was skeptical about a proper Reg functioning, especially because I fill up the gun with 315 bar but it’s working awesome with no issues at all.

My next goal is start making my own Boat Tail Hollow point slugs, boat tails are the future in the Airgun world and I’m looking of high bc hp slugs in the 50/55 gr range. I have 66 pounds of beautiful Zan lead wire laying around in my basement waiting for a .25 cal Corbin die with BT punch to come. I wish I could get my hands on something with the above characteristics but here in Europe there is no manufacturers producing them yet so I’m not the person giving up on something I’m passionate about so I decided to invest on that.

Finally talking about those two things I do no like about the RTI Mora:

The rubber butt pad comes off very easily so I bought a 3d printed adjustable Butt Pad which makes the gun more ergonomic and enjoyable to shoot from a prone position.

The gun is very butt heavy, shooting from a tripod or a post it’s not easy. I did not find a permanent solution yet but nothing that wont be fixable with adding proper weights distributed on the front of the bottle rail.

Last but not least, technical support:

RTI Arms technical support is second to none, I received fast answers from Rok Avbar and Jakob Bončina when I messed around with the gun and received spare parts in one week after I assembled a reg part upside down damaging it.
In 4 for months I had one leak only so I changed only a worn out valve o ring but in the mean time I serviced the entire valve system just to be sure.

Need to ger rid of some things to fund another project. The .22 is the LW Long Range Expensive barrel it has never been used . The .25 is the RPB with the enlarged transfer port good for slugs and pellets, the .30 ls a LW.

i weight sorted a 300ct tin of AEA 29.5 gr pellets, i ended up separately them in 29.5 and 29.6, the 6 off weight pellets i found were in a dime. 60 consecutive shots all touching dimes @55 yards

Just dug my slingshot out after years after recently watching YouTube videos about how to aim.. I was horrible at it back then but now I can consistently hit a 2 inch target at 15 yards.. about 16 out of 20 shots.. I'm going to keep practicing and then try it out on a hosp at my 15 yard feeder
