Not a particularly hard shot at 35yds but she put that pellet right where I was aiming which is really all I can hope for on a "cold shot" from a 24fpe .20 cal break barrel

Good condition used HW30S in an older Beeman R7 checkered beech stock. Gun cocks smoothly (no galling), trigger is great, wood is in excellent shape, metal looks good all over; however, the scope rail area has seen typical usage with scratches and wear. I tried to take the best pic of it I could.

Have no idea of velocity, but it's healthy and shoots like an HW30 or R7 is supposed to. Likes the JSB Express and 8.44 Exacts.

While the higher percentage of shots I take on small critters are DRT kills. There are days like today. After a seriously contentious day at work. I bagged three starlings, the first? A DRT lightning strike. The next? A solid thwack, but it glided until it crashed into the side of my barn. The third took two! Shots! And while they where still coming in to the suet cakes I backed off because I clearly was off my game.

After reading several threads and watching multiple reviews, I recently purchased an Umarex Notos to fill a PCP carbine niche in my small collection of air rifles, and I'm planning to modify it similar to this thread (https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/i-sipped-the-notos-kool-aid.1299436/post-1593550) thanks to several posts there by other enthusiasts. The package arrived during the week, and I wasn't able to take it out and shoot it until two days after it was delivered. The rifle arrived already charged, but was about 500 PSI below full. After cleaning the barrel and mounting a scope, I sighted in and shot the carbine with my FX Chronograph. The rifle was shooting very well with Crosman Premier HPs, just like a lot of others experienced. I was very pleased with the carbine's performance right out of the box. I am planning to modify the carbine with a regulated drop block and CF bottle in place of the stock regulator and tube.

After shooting, I topped off the carbine to maximum pressure and set it against the wall in my office (conditioned space). Overnight, most of the air leaked out of the reservoir. It completely emptied by mid-day. I have contacted the re-seller and am awaiting a response from them. The carbine is completely stock, and the dealer is very reputable, so I expect a repair or exchange to be relatively easy.

Here's my conundrum:

All of the modification parts arrived today (plenum, drop block, and CF bottle). Should I RMA the carbine for a new one that doesn't leak, or just go ahead with the modifications I planned to do anyway? These would be pretty significant mods on my part (in that I have only added a power plenum and tactical kit to an FX Dreamline - parts made by FX for their rifle). I don't know where the carbine is leaking from, but I'm guessing that there's a good chance my changes will fix the problem, since I'm basically replacing the entire reservoir and regulator system (including gauges).

I have had this in my gun safe and finally thought it was time to sell it and let someone enjoy it as it just sits in the safe and should be used and enjoyed. This was the walnut S510 Rossi assembled when he visited the Air Arms Factory. It is .22 caliber and comes with 2 mags, owners manual, fill adapter and original box signed by Rossi. Picked this up new at an Airgun Show 2 years ago when I was shooting springers. It was at the Pyramyd Booth and had a bad spot on the stock about the diameter of a pencil which is shown in one of the photos. I have not messed with it and it is completely stock. Ordered 4 Tins of 18.13 gr JSB Jumbo Heavies, and this is how they arrived.......in an UNPADDED envelope, each wrapped in a plastic bag, with ansolutely NO packing material in the envelope....I have only sorted 1 tin so far and only about half were good and the others are ok for plinking in the back yard....

Up for sale is an excellent condition FX streamline .22 with walnut stock and included UTG 3-12 X 44 scope. Gun is in excellent condition with only a little rust on the outside of the screws for the scope rings. Gun will come with fill probe, single shot tray and I know I have one or two mags for it as well. Will update when I know for sure. Shoots 18.1 in the 880’s. Also installed a stop nut from cape fear airguns behind the hammer spring screw so it cannot move. The gun is also very accurate with crosman premier 14 gr if you turn the transfer port on medium. It will shoot the crosmans around 750 fps here if I remember correctly. I did not have luck with the crosmans above 800 fps though. On high the gun shoots jsb and baracuda 18 gr excellent. Looking for 650 shipped. Will come with original box.
Forgot: This gun has never given me a single problem. Holds air 100 %.

Can you guys give me an idea of which PCP rifles would work for me? I want one for pest duty at 30-40yards. I need it to be accurate, able to sit totally full of air, and not leak for months. I was looking at the Beeman Chief 2 but then read about leaking problems and I don't want that. I would like to stay under $400 if possible. Thanks to you to all for a great forum!!

I just modified one in Walnut with a 70MM Fore End rest for bottle. I can modify for other sizes as well.

The cradle is highly adjustable with sliding grip support and threaded wood bolt that also slides to support the stock butt.

All parts that support the rifle are padded with thick leather.

Dimensions: 24x9x8. Weighs about 15-16 pounds.

Cradle has rails to prevent small parts from being lost. I thread the wood bolt (1.25" diameter) myself.

Cradle comes fully assembled with glue and large screws. Extremely durable.
