The Feinwerkbau 300 Tyrolean is the gold standard of vintage target air rifles. This excellent example must, unfortunately, has to pave the way for a much needed bench pcp. Anyone had to deal with service or warranty issues. What has been your experience what manufacturers and would you recommend.

Mine is been with airforce airguns and I had some issues with my talonp and even though it could be frustrating. Their costumer service and speed in resolving issues and sending you either parts or full gun swap outs it been superb. I forever will be a airforce airgun costumer for their ability to resolve issues right away.

I have an Alkin W-31 Mariner vertical compressor and am trying to fill a SCBA tank w/ a Saber Tactical Valve. Following the Alkin instructions exactly. Start compressor w/ fill line valve closed and tank valve closed. Open fill line valve, wait until fill line gage reaches fill pressure (300 bar), then open tank valve. As soon as I open the tank valve the tank gage reads the same pressure as the fill line gage 300+/- Bar. Is that correct? I thought the tank pressure should read lower and then slowly come up.

Ok, so how much drag does a choke add to a pellet, and is it worth the velocity drop for the possible accuracy benefits?

I know that's all relative to the specific gun. Reason I ask, I'm at a crossroads with my newly built 357 kral.

Ok, so my issue is I now have a giant cannon of a rifle, and it's producing "meh' power for running a 300 BAR fill, 23" barrel, and a heavy dual spring that is so stiff I feel like it will break something soon.

I'm only getting 750 fps max, and if I set the spring tension to anywhere near comfortable, it drops into the 550 range. Not worth it for what it is. I'd accept that power level if it was compact, and just make a nasty little short range squirrel thumper.

Anywho... I know this thing has a heavy choke, and it's damn accurate with the JSBs at 35 yards so far(haven't stretched it out yet), but im wondering if a tight choke is causing me to have such a low velocity? I'd think this gun would be in the 800s with this beastly spring set up and barrel length/fill pressure.

What are your thoughts?

New here and have a question.
Wanted to get back to air rifle shooting, so just recently I purchased an Air Arms 510s extra from an online vendor. The rifle was discounted as a rebuilt version.
It included a limited warranty and short return window. I also paid for them to shoot a 10 round test that looked fine.
It arrived and it looks like new, no marks of any kind that I can tell.
The issue is that it had about 100 bar of air when received, and now a week later it is almost empty, it seems to have a slow leak.
My air tank is getting hydroed so I can't fill it up yet.
Should I get it repaired under warranty, get it returned and get the refund and by a different gun ?
I feel I paid good money for it, so it shroud work without any hassle especially since it was "refurbished"

Went out and dispatched 31 iguanas the other day with my buddy in about 4-1/2 hours. Probably had another 5 that took head shots and ran into residential areas. Lots of pregnant females in this bunch.
Took most of them down with an avenger .25 and a few with an FX impact .30 which is overkill for these dragons because most shots are through and through with .30. Guess I could turn it down a bit and see but .25 is a really great pellet for them.

Here is a as new Weihrauch HW35E in 22 caliber. I fired less than 100 pellets through it. It shoots 14.3 CPHP in the high 600’s fps. I have a left hand HW95 Tyrolean in 22 caliber that shoots within 10 fps difference. So that’s what I shoot. It just doesn’t get used. Original box, paperwork, and sight inserts. I can start with that I use the king heavy 33.95gr as a referanse since those shoot 1 hole groups at 50m @910fps.

I have tried 28gr, 33gr, 35gr and 37gr from zan in speeds 950 up to 1020 and none of them group as the pellets does at 50m.
I have also tried nsa 43.5gr from 950 to 1000fps and its no Luck there either.

I have 700mm heavy liner tension barrel with carbon sleave.

I hope to get my KO mk2 today so I can try them, my supplier have HN slugs and wildman too but they are super expensive and I have not had any Luck with them in my crown mk2 earlier so I have not orderd them yet.

Would realy like to shoot slugs, but as it is now I get a hell of a lot of shots out of my 480 bottle with 2nd reg at 90bar xD
