Issue with GX Pump Air Filter

Today I went to fill an airgun and while the pressure was building according to the gauge on the compressor, the gauge on the gun was not moving at all! At 100BAR, I stopped the compressor and released pressure using the bottom bleed valve on the compressor.

I thin removed the GX Filter and just used a regular in-line filter and it filled the gun just fine., so it's not the gun, it's the filter!

I took the filter apart and everything looked fine, I tore down the top end, and it has a stack of belleville washers in the top of it that looks as if it must somehow regulate the output, but why would it be preventing air from exiting the filter?

Anyone else have this issue? Is this normal, and I just need to let it keep building pressure, or is something wrong?

Thanks...

Pellet testing on pests?

Even though this is about pellet testing, I'm posting this in the Hunting Forum, because it involves pest shooting.

I think we can all agree that no matter what substitute media you use to test pellet performance, it's still just not the same as hitting rats, or chipmunks, etc. So I had the thought of using the chipmunks that I get, and propping them up in front of a pile of soft cloths, or something else that could capture a pellet after a pass through, without further damage to the pellet, so I can see what they actually do when hitting a pest. Maybe even using Play Doh to see how much deeper they would penetrate on a larger pest.

... or have I been watching too many zombie movies?

Karma  Karma red panda second regulator issue.

Good afternoon, went shooting today and notice that I have a regulator issue. When I start a slug testing session. I noticed that the second regulator will start falling off pressure when it's not tethered to a bottle. When the gun is tethered.
The regulator seems to work normal. When I get home and set the gun on my table. I notice that the regulator will creep past the original setting. Gun is in 22 caliber, SHOOTING THE NEW AIR MARKSMAN, 40 GRAIN PRECISION slug first regulator is wide open.
The second regulator setting 2600 PSI.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Rick.
