Airgun Technologies  Uragan-1 after 3 years of hard hunting use.......

developed a leak from the fill port.........
this gun has taken many crows, hogs and deer.
its not a toy, its a serious hunting machine with 50gr KO's
right at 100FPE.
contacted the man zx10wall
that performance tuned and installed the huma reg
before i received it new from Talon Tunes.

sending her in for repair and complete checkup.
i will miss this one everyday while its gone, but i know when it returns
it will be back at it hard core as before.

the gun has always been wonderful to hunt with and i am kinda glad it
needed an office visit from Derrick anyway. i'd rather do it now than in the
middle of hunting season. 👍

Benjamin  Prod trigger change overnight by itself!

Yesterday the trigger was normal, you pull it and it fires. Today it is different. I pull it and I feel a small click and nothing happens. Then when I let off the trigger it fires. I changed nothing. Anyone know why this would happen?
It's almost more accurate now, but I'm really curious what changed. I was killing rats with it last night and it was like normal, this morning totally changed.

Pesting with .20 Veteran

Me and my youngest son just spent about 30 minutes at the extended families feedlot. We were hoping for a ground squirrel but settled for some pest birds. Got a couple euro doves and a couple starlings.

This starling was the most easily retrieved. Taken from a lasered 71 yards with a .20/13.73 @ 810 for just shy of 20fpe. Stiff crosswind that needed 0.6mils of hold off. Got him right in the breast and he dropped like a rock.

I'm really liking this stock on the little Shorty Vet.

From afar they just look black, but in the right light their iridescence is really something. Cabe asked if we could "take him to somebody who makes them frozen." I asked if he meant a taxidermist like when people hang the animal on the wall and he enthusiastically said "yeah!" I told him I don't think we'll be paying a taxidermist for their services on this starling, lol.

Cabe's mom wasn't as enthusiastic as him when he tried to run in the house to show her, starling dangling by a foot in his hand.

  • Question
Brocock/BRK  Brocock Sniper XR Sahara or Commander XR

Does anyone have experience with these two rifles in .22 caliber? I'm trying to decide which is better for the shooting I do. Or maybe there's something better.

Brocock Sniper XR

Brocock Commander XR

I'll spend around 75% of my time with it on my backyard bench (40 to 60 yards, occasionally 85 to 100 yards), and 25% doing pest control and plinking. I'm sorry to say I sold my only Brocock a couple of years ago and I have missed it ever since. Right now I spend most of my time with a .22 Taipan Veteran shortie and .177 Daystate Revere. Both are very accurate. Thanks in advance for your help!

Umarex  This is my Notos, this my gun..........

This has got to be the most fun airgun I've ever shot. I carry it almost every day while walking my chocolate lab thru the woods around the house, shooting at targets of opportunity. I have shot many plastic insulators off the abandoned electric fence in the back field and have target set up along the way for my shooting pleasure. This thing is so light and easy to shoot, and carry it was just made for carrying around. I did a trigger job and now have it tuned in to perfection and can hit a empty water bottle at 42 yards offhand every time. I have a Monstrum prism with 5.5-6" eye relief and a circle dot reticle and it is the bomb for plinking. It is as clear as any scope I've ever used. I'm learning the trajectory of the pellets at around 750 fps, at various distances and will have it down in my mind soon. I get right at 4 mags with no descernable drop at less than 50 yards, so that usually gets me thru my walk. I need more mags, so I won't have to reload on the walk. I'm using Maple custom mags and they are sooooo much better than the factory crappy mag. I've also shot this setup at 35 meters and it will do one hole, when I use a round target and light up my reticle so I can hold the 3 MOA dot in the center. The dot is a bit big, but it's really not impeding accuracy that I can tell. I've shot .60 cal paintballs at 25-30 yards with ease.
I have eight pcps counting the Notos, and this gun gets used more than all the rest put together. It's so much fun that I'm seriously considering getting a backup so I'll have one should they stop making them, they're that much fun to own. If you haven't tried one, you really should give it some consideration as a fun everyday shooter. The accuracy is still amazing me.

Filling 6.8L tank with rovair compressor

As per the title, I'm trying to figure out if I can fill my 6.8L tank with my small rovair compressor.
I figured If I only ran it for 10-15 minutes with 30 minute breaks between it would be fine.
After the first 10 minutes, neither the needle on the tank gauge or the compressor gauge have moved at all.
The fill port on the tank has a micro filter built into it. Is it possible that this filter restriction is too much for my compressor to overcome and no air is getting into the tank?
I realize it's a large tank, and it will take a while to fill with this method, but I expected to see some needle movement.
Can someone help please?

Cajun Classic Results, first day rifle

Just left the range around 4;30 where the 50yd bench rest shoot off was still in progress. We had a long and busy day of air rifle shooting with much more to come tomorrow. We’ve had gorgeous weather and some scorching hot shooting on very tough courses. Please see rifle scores below at the mid way point...

Bipods/Rests  SOLD (SOLD) Unobtanium Trump 2020 Edition Accu-Tac BR-4 G2 Bipod

Been buying some airgun stuff (and outfitting my wife's new she-sheds...) so I guess that I need to sell some stuff if I am not using it.

Up for sale is one of the original (more colorful than the current model) Trump 2020 edition BR-4 G2 bipods. These were released way back when, and quickly sold out and became essentially unobtanium.

I bought mine used off the AGN Member Classifieds, and I have not ever mounted it to a gun (and I would guess that the first owner didn't either - see pics).

Is it a valuable collectable? You have to answer that for yourself. My price, shipped to the CONUS, is $360. Method of payment accepted: PayPal Friends & Family.

This may or may not be a highly desired item, so by date/time stamp the first "I'll take it!" gets priority on the purchase. So ask questions about it at your own risk, as you might lose out. How many questions can there be on an Accu-Tac BR-4 G2 anyway?

Thanks for looking,
Tom

Custom Barrel maker

As some have seen I had previously been testing my AAA Paradigm with many different slugs. After talking with Tom he gave some suggestions but ultimately told me that the leade of the barrel is cut for pellets and it would compress a slug to much to be useful. So when talking with him he made mention that he was working on a dedicated slug barrel for the Paradigm and Evol like of rifles. Now with Tom moving his shop from California we all know that moving a large shop takes time and can be a pain in the butt to have to set up again. So that got me to thinking about trying to source someone that would be able to make a slug barrel for these rifles.

Being as these rifles are able to get some stupidly consistent shots, a well made matched slug would be a killer combination! As much as I would love to keep the rilfe with all original AAA parts, I honestly hate waiting and want to play with something :D

So who would you guys talk to about getting a custom barrel made, preferably in .218 as I have access to a Corbin press with all of the 218 offerings.

FX  Panthera owners....POI and accuracy

I am currently running a very modded Impact M3... which is a vast improvement on a standard config M3 in regards to POI variations. I only shoot slugs at 100yds out to 500yds.

I am interested in the Panthera...

Owners of the Panthera..... How is the Panthera in regards to POI stability ?? "GENUINE" honest replies please...

Accuracy....... particularly in relation to a well set up M3 , how is it

Thanks..

Anyone else do this?

I got an early morning yellow beaks, and propped him up as a decoy.

About 20 minutes later I see another, probably female, checking on him from a low branch. I took a shot and missed as she jumped to a different branch. She didn't even spook really. I guess the decoy made her feel at ease.

Anyhow, they're both decoys now!

Interesting rifling in an airgun

Took a gun apart to finally getting around to getting it resealed.

The rifling is straight, no twist in it at all.

It was hard to photograph, but it definitely straight lines.

It's in an older Bosler Big Bore

New guy intended on break barrel, going PCP

New guy here. Stumbled onto this site after getting lost on AGD looking for a new break barrel springer or gas job to replace my 20yo RWS 320M. I I always wanted a FX impact but wasn't willing to spend the funds. after doing a few days worth of research i realized I kept stumbling back into the PCP section and that the entry level airguns weren't that much more than a break barrel. So after ready and asking some more questions, and drooling over RAY_PR's Avenge X, I realized that i could float my budget a little and splurge for one of those instead.

So as I patiently wait for AGD to get them Avenge X .25cal 210cc airguns back in stock, I find myself continuing to absorb as much as I can in the meantime.

Thanks for all the great feedback so far and advising me on the the make and model of attachments and accessories when I see them in use in your pics. Makes building the wish list alot easier. :)
