Optics  SOLD Athlon Cronus Gen 2 with sidewheel scope caps and rings

This is a very nice scope in very good shape. It’s been well taken care of. It’s very bright and clear. Comes with the butler creek caps, the custom 3d printed sidewheel, and the 34 mm rings with the level in one of them. The only reason I’m selling it is that it’s heavier than I like. The only trades I would consider is a Nexus preferably Gen2 I can add cas for the right one. I would consider a Gen 1 but might need a little cash unless it’s new.

ATS Raw Hm1000x power plenum

New from adaptive tuning systums. You may know Aaron hpp for his barrel tuners, but he also makes a really nice plenum for the raw hm1000x line up. No it does not stick out the bottom. Here is a picture of a Raw build with his tuner and plenum in a MPA chassis.

Turkey alert

This big boy strutted around our bird feeder this afternoon at about 20 yards while I shot about 60 shots at spinners with my pcps. Didn't seem to bother him a bit.

I have always thought it would be cool to hunt them with an airgun, and the season is in, but it would not be any fun to shoot this one in my backyard. I have nick named him Oscar. He acts like he owns the subdivision:neighborhood.

HW100 or PRO SPORT? Need a quiet air riflle

I was set on another spring air rifle like a air arms pro sport but for the price I could get a second hand hw100 pcp in .22 and a get a handpump.

I need a very quiet air rifle to shoot pests especially at night its quiet so i don't want to bother the neighbours.

Should I get a pro sport or a hw100? Any pros and cons. I've read pcp can be expensive because you need to buy a air tank and refill it. What if I just buy a hand pump, will I need anything else like a air tank or go to the shop to refill it.

I won't shoot it much. Il only be getting it out to shoot pests if I spot them so I won't be a daily shooter. Il only shoot maybe once a month

PCP Rifle  NLA Anschutz 8002 S2 12Ftlb WFTF rifle

Hey guys I an testing the water on this to see what happens. I am looking at getting another rifle and that means one would have to go. So I am looking at letting go the Anschutz 8002 S2 that I had upgraded too shoot 12ftlb. I was able to find a higher powered regulator from Anschutz USA, and then talked with Tyler Pratner to do the work.

I took the stock while Tyler had the rifle and hydrodipped it myself. The stock under the graphics is the standard black and blue if I remember correctly. I shortened the bloop tube, as I didn't intend on using the sights. I made a carbon shroud that is ended in a 1/2×20 threads for anything you want on the end.

The rifle shoots like a dream, and with an addition to the muzzle the rifle is damn near silent.

The rifle will come with the rifle, a spare air cylinder, original centra sights, fill adapter and anschutz hard case.

Looking at another rifle so would like to see $1500 and can discuss shipping. Ok with PayPal or other methods that can be discussed. Any payment will have to clear before rifle gets shipped out.

Any questions just ask guys.

N/A  PCP suggestions around $700

Anyone have a good PCP suggestion for around $700? Here is what I am looking for exactly. I want a regulated PCP 400cc or larger tank and under 9lbs . Asking for a lot I know but I don't own any PCP and just getting onto them and don't want to drop a ton of money on it. I am also open to a non regulated PCP that's capable of getting an aftermarket regulator that I could just add myself but than I would want to see that PCP under $600 . There a few options but at that price point you have to sacrifice something it seems so I am just having a really difficult time finding what I want. Also it has to be capable of grouping sub MOA @ 50yds

PCP Rifle  SOLD Huben K1 .25 w/ LW Poly Barrel by KRAZ Cool Airguns

I bought this a few months ago from another member here. I thought I was going to try to take it long range 300 plus yards using the CNC turned slugs from ATP. Ended up setting it up like my 22 Huben for a fast action yard gun. Works awesome that way but not using it at its best potential with its custom barrel. Decided to sell and get a different yard gun. Here is the original listing https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/custom-barrel-huben-k1-25-by-kraz-cool-air-guns.1298327/

Will include everything pictured except for the optics, light, and sling. (If you're interested in those with the gun I could work something out)

Probably not my best shot ever but damn proud of this one...

Yesterday, I got a rare glimpse of a ground squirrel sprawled out flat on its belly just chilling on part of my retaining wall about 30yd from my office door so I go to the safe and grabbed my Edgun Leshiy 2 with red dot to dispatch of it. Of course, as soon as I open the sliding glass door to take aim at it, the squirrel scurries off into the bushes. Disappointed, I lower the Leshiy 2 . . . only to see a tiny bit of movement about 5yds past the squirrel's previous location.

I had to squint and do a double take to see what it was . . . but lo and behold, it was the very tip of the head of the pocket gopher that has been digging up a large portion of the backyard. I've been trying to poison it for weeks but it was still digging out new mounds of dirt everyday. It was pretty skittish, only popping its head above ground for a split second at a time before disappearing again. I knew I'd probably only have one shot at it and my chances of hitting it with the red dot on my L2 were probably low so I went back to the safe and pulled out the trusty Impact M3 0.25 w/ 30x Hawke Frontier scope on it.

By the time I got the M3 back to the door, there were all sorts of thoughts running through my head. 1) This M3 has been sitting for weeks without being shot so there's inevitably going to be some amount of reg creep so how much lower is the POI going to be on this shot? 2) This rifle is fully decked out and pretty heavy but I don't have time to mount in on my trusty tripod so I was going to have to brace it against the side of the sliding door and hope for the best. 3) It was mid-afternoon so there was a pretty brisk right to left breeze to contend with. 4) I'm going to have a split second to time the shot before it ducked into its hole again (which, by the way, was slightly obscured by the dirt mound in front of it so the line of sight was obstructed). 5) And finally, I've got another Zoom meeting starting in 3 minutes so I've got to get this shot off right quick . . . needless to say, the adrenaline's pumping pretty good now!

Taking all those things into consideration, I steady myself against the door, tried as best I could to anticipate its head popping rhythm and pulled the trigger . . . then logged onto two consecutive meetings without being able to see if I hit my target or not. The meetings end and I walk out to the gopher's location with more gopher pellets in hand thinking that, at the very least, I would have a fresh opening into which to put the pellets in the hopes of maybe finally getting the poison to its intended target.

Here's what I found:

The red arrow is pointing to the gopher hole just in front of the palm tree trunk (about 35yds out)

I mean WOW - a shot straight through the back of the head coming out the front dead center at its neck. Talk about a DEAD RIGHT THERE shot; that thing didn't move an inch after impact. Pretty amazing!!! Imagine something smaller than the size of a golf ball, popping in and out of a hole (partially obscured by a mound of dirt) for a split second at a time and getting this result!

I just hope that was the last one b/c I don't know if I can pull off another shot like that (or even have the chance to)!!!

Results  Southwest Airgunners Silhouette and Field Target match reports, Duncan AZ April 2024

Group photo.jpg

As the completion of this announcement, https://www.airgunnation.com/thread...pril-2024-upcoming-matches-duncan-az.1307502/
Rex and gang hosted another awesome airgun weekend at Tom's beautiful river bottom property in Duncan Arizona this past weekend. The property offered the same great setting for field target and silhouettes that it has in the past, with a few bits of sour to go along with all that sweet. The ample shade and terrain and cottonwoods and etc all combined to make the sweet, while the sour this month was some rather serious wind and swarms of mosquitoes. There's a relevant saying about not fully appreciating the sweet without occasionally experiencing some sour. All in all, it was fun, despite the skeeters and the wind.

Here are some photos of the site and camping, etc.

With the Southwest Airgunners, what started as typical AAFTA-style rifle field target matches has, over the course of a few years, morphed into weekends full of field target silhouettes, pistol field target, and the most recent addition, field target pistol silhouettes. That's a lot of shooting crammed into just a few days! And how can field target and silhouettes be combined? Well, we're using our ft rifles and pistols, and ft shooting positions, to shoot silhouettes.

Pistol Silhouettes
The most recent event, held for the first time this past weekend, was pistol silhouettes. We of course used our <12fpe field target pistols, topped with scopes used at < 12x, and we all shot from the "Hunter" position, ie shooting sticks/bipod and stool/bucket. We also used the tiny little 10m silhouettes. Distances were 10, 15, 20, and 25 yards. This a bit of a learning experience, with the biggest learning curve that the targets are so small that the lead splatter and/or vibration effects on the support beam were knocking targets off that hadn't been shot. We kept track of what hadn't been shot at and reset them. With all the resetting we only made it through one "relay" each, making a total possible 20 points. There were a handful of us that were 19/20, but only two shooters that went 20/20: Steve Q and Dan L. The tie was decided by a shoot off, using the 40 yard 1/5 scale silhouettes that we typically use for rifle silhouettes. There were some grumbles about only having dope to 35 yards for the ft pistols, but the shoot off went ahead. Steve Q won the shoot off to become the first winner of pistol silhouettes. There was already much discussion about how to keep the peripheral targets from getting knocked off.

Some photos from the pistol ft match...

I've always wanted to get great photos of a bunch of the rigs used in a match, and finally made it happen for this ft silhouette match (somehow missed a close up of Dan's RAW micro but it can be seen in the shoot off photo above). An astute observer will notice a bit of a unicorn in these gun photos..I'll give a hint,....it is 1 of 1 in two ways, the ONLY .177, and the ONLY pistol using this airgun platform that exists anywhere (click on em for better images).
