Traditional Rifle  SOLD Beeman R10

This old girl has a story and i only know part of it. My step father bought new land and was out Surveying saod land, when he stumbled upon a rifle leaned up against a tree. The cocking link is broke so i can only assume someone maybe a kid was hunting when it broke and they left it there. Judging buy the condition it had been there a long time. Its a Huntington Beach marked beeman R10. Bore is in great shape. Rifle will need a full restore. I dont have the time to do it and its way to cool of a gun and story to not restore her. There is rust on the out side it will need to be cleaned and reblued. New seals for sure and new spring. I have no odea what the inside looks like but the bore looks great so id imagine the tube is not bad ether.

Asking price is 300.00 shipped or best real offer

PCP Rifle  SOLD Evanix Max Semi Auto .25

Up for sale is an Evanix Max .25 battery operated semi auto. I bought this a couple months ago and wasn't able to get it to cycle so I brought it to an Airsoft store where they tested the battery, turns out it was bad so I bought a new one, with a new charger. It then cycled perfectly. Holds air indefinitely and is in good condition. Went to shoot it yesterday and the bolt is stuck again. I'm frustrated dealing with it and don't have the time or resources to fix it. It comes with 3 original Evanix mags, and has a sling stud and 2 picatinny rails installed. Once it's fixed it can easily be converted to full auto if wanted. I'm selling it for $500 obo with the charger, 3 mags, new battery, fill probe and manual. Send me a msg with any questions. Buyer pays shipping.

Better wood on air rifles

I have heard all the reasons for why wood stocks are less available, less exciting in figure etc. From old growth availability, to high costs of timber etc. Yet every time look at PBs there is reason to doubt these ideas. Henry arms .22 octagon. This is a production rifle, not limited, or deluxe. Sub 500$, and yet the wood shows significantly better character than most AGs in the same price range.

I have a solid reputation on AGN as an excellent seller and buyer. Can provide member references upon request.

Too many airguns and not enough time to shoot them all. So, I am posting up my Pathfinder in .177. I am the first and only owner, purchased new from AoA in early 2023. It's only be shot indoors or off a bench, so no field use scrapes or marks.

This Pathfinder is tuned to shoot the H&N Barracuda Match 10.64gr or newer Benjamin 10.5gr single die right around 800fps and will post tight groups out to 45-50 yards. My friend Matt, @brawler1588, and I both easily cleared a KYL target at 30 yards with this airgun.

Comes with 2 - 13rnd magazines - the rifle comes with one and the 2nd was an extra purchase from AoA for $109. Also includes all accessories. Will come double boxed with original packaging.

Note: Scope and Rings not included in sale.

New price: $1795 + $109 = $1904

Asking Priced to sell: $1,250 SOLD

Tuning  Decreasing Hammer Spring Increased speed???🤔

I have a pcp that shoot great with 18.3gr pellets. Less than 2/3 of an inch at 55 yards with pellets. But the projectiles I wanna shoot are slugs. Not high gr ones but 20-23gr ones because I don't wanna be shooting a motor with my 20-37ft-lb gun(no matter how I mod it, I don't get more than that and I gave up). As I was tuning for shooting slugs, I found out that my gun doesn't like shooting those slugs at high speed. So, I tried to find the highest speed I can get without getting grouping more than 2 inches at 50 yards. While I was tuning, I found out that at 1800 psi regulator set point and up, decreasing Hammer Spring results in increased speed. I found that out because I have the hammer spring tension highest while adjusting the regulator then reduce the hammer spring little by little for each regulator set point. As far as I know, normally, shouldn't the speed decrease with the hammer spring tension decrease?
I've been pondering on this one for like a week now and couldn't figure it out. So, I posted here hoping that someone would have an answer to that.

My gun specs.
18 inch 1:16 left twist barrel in 22 cal.
1800 psi is mostly the pressure I set on reg.
The air out hole on valve, I think called port, was 4.5mm but I drilled it to be 6mm.
Transfer way (the part on action block that connect the port to the transfer port behind the barrel is around 4.3mm and I cannot find a way to increase it because the hole is unreachable with a drill.
The brass transfer port is the kind with two elongated holes with a bridge between them. Total dimension of the holes should be around 6-7mm.
Using probe with small pin that push the pellets/slugs in. (Slug probe??)
My hammer has short stiff spring that reaches its normal state 6-8mm before the hammer hit the valve. I've recorded the hammer in action in slow motion and I don't see hammer bouncing between spring and valve.

Air Venturi  Can Avenge-X shoot slugs?

Can the Avenge-X shoot slugs?
HECK YES !
I have the Avenge-X in .177
With reg at 2000 I achieved 3/8" to 1/2" groups at 50 yards with:
Knockouts 4.52 13.4g at 900 to 930fps
Zan 13g at 921fps
Griffin 14g at 907fps
H&N Slug HP 13g at 923fps

Accidental GooGone spillage on Break Barrel seal - done?

Sorry if question is redundant. Did search and nothing came up. Did 1st clean/degreasing of new break barrel (Umarex SurgeMax Elite .22) and accidentally got a drop or two of GooGone on the seal. Manufacturer states NOT to use any petroleum based cleaners but GooGone seems everywhere in forums on cleaning so I bought some. I wiped it off immediatey but that little nagging thought lingers. So...is the seal doomed? Will it melt in the mid/long run or is it ok? Thanks.

UPDATE FOR 2024 AAFTA NATIONALS Massachusetts Rifle Association MRA FT

We at MRA FT have been preparing to host the AAFTA 2024 Nationals and there has been some pushback from the Hunter class shooters wanting to shoot 2 shots per target as it has always been done. So I have a solution, the hunter shooters will be shooting one course while the remaining classes will shoot the other which is often the case. There will still be 25 lanes on each course with 2 targets per lane, We will have a separate scorecard for the Hunter class, the card will be for a 15 lane, 60 shot match. For instance, the Hunter shooters will be assigned the Yellow course lanes 10 -25 day one, then the Blue course lanes 1-15 for day 2 making a 120 points total for the weekend. The WFTF and Open Class Shooters will be shooting 1 shot per target 25 lanes per day for a total of 100 points for the duration of the weekend. Please respond and let me know what you think I hope that this resolves any issues.

N/A  Hand pump not filling R5M?

My R5M was empty. Last time I looked I thought it was fully charged. So a leak needs to be found unless the adult grandson has been shooting it without topping it off. My fill tank is empty and I was just going to do simple. The fill probe was not sealing so I was wanting to hand pump still. Tried changing the O-rings and it still wouldn't seal. Wondered if when completely empty it needed more pressure to start it sealing. I could crank up the Coltri. Just wondering about the whole business. Anyone with R5M experience? TIA and Be Well, Bandito.

Do .177 Pellets Ricochet Off Metal Targets

I have a backyard range that I use to practice Field Target. I have a bunch of steel targets, some of the resetting kind as well as a couple of knock down/sting reset and a half-dozen spinners on the sides of trees. My next-door neighbors are great and probably the nicest I have ever had. Today Mark came over and told my wife that two or three times he has heard my ricochets hit his window that faces my range. That window is 10 feet higher than my targets and 20 yards away (almost perpendicular to my sightline) from the nearest metal resetting target (which is 35 yards from my shooting point).

My understanding (and experience) is that my 13.4 gr JSB pellets are of such soft lead that they effectively splatter when hitting steel. So I find it to be a near physical impossibility that my ricochets are hitting his house. That being said, I want to keep the great relationship we have with them and want to keep shooting. So I talked to him and told him I would move target s further away from his house and he seemed to be happy with that.

But is it physically possible?

Cheers,
Greg

PCP Rifle  SOLD Anschutz 9015 Bench Start

Up for sale is an Anschutz 9015 Benchrest Start air rifle. I am the original owner and I had 2 of these rifles, sold one this is the last one. I was shooting 10 meter supported with this rifle and shot 2 match’s that’s it. This is as close to new in the box as you can get, there are no issues what so ever with this gun. I also purchased from Anschutz a 12 lb (light varmint) kit which has unadjustable regulator, hammer, and hammer spring adjusting tool which cost over $200. As you can see by the test target it shoots very well. I also upgraded the front and rear sight with Gehmann adjustable rear Iris and front non cant sight. I also switched the trigger shoe to a Tec-HRO touch point trigger shoe. I also have QYS training pellets I can sell to the buyer for $10 a tin and a Air Venturi 98 cubic Ft air tank for $275. I'll split shipping cost (rifle) if purchased by buyer. Will not break up whole package for sale of rifle. Asking $1800 w/12lb kit /$1650 just rifle. I live in Gilbert , Az and if you have any question please contact me.

Help to identify an air rifle.

Hello!

I recently inherited several air guns, which I believe are mostly Daisy. I'm having trouble identifying some of them, like the one below, because there are no markings! Most are vintage, but I honestly can't tell. I'm not even sure what it shoots. It's in a red "Red Ryder" case, which know that doesn't mean much. Do you have any advice on what I should look for when identifying these air guns?

Thank you!

Jeff

Hello from California

My first post here. I've been out of the airgun scene for 25 years or so, but recently found this forum looking for the old Yellow Forum. Seems like there's a wealth of knowledge here as there was on the Yellow Forum. I look forward to reading and continuing to learn here when I can.
