I've posted about my issues with 2 of my DAR rifles. Well, I just got a new Beeman Underlever Bullpup in 0.25 cal and right out of the box the trigger doesn't work. It takes anywhere from 2 to 10 tries pulling the trigger to finally getting it to fire. I tried adjusting the trigger but still no good so it's going back for a refund. That makes the 7th air gun I've purchased in the last 2 years that has been defective in one way or another. Six of them were China made junk. I don't think I had these issues with guns I bought years ago. But then most of them were made in England, Germany and the US. QC seems to be a forgotten step in the manufacturing process.

All were taken with the GK1 .22 set up to shoot 21.9gr AEA pellets at 895fps. These pellets have so far shot the best at close and long distance 9ver the FX 18gr, 15gr, polymags, H&N 18gr, 15gr, 14.66gr, and Crosmans.

The furthest shot wast 73 yards, on top I have a monstrum panzer ED 1-10x24 FFP and it is perfect, the illumination is also very good on this optic.

Finally about to pull the trigger on my revere, and I'm torn between going reg or not. Price is a little bit of a factor, but I don't want to be stuck with 177 going unregulated. I don't shoot 177 anymore and have no plans to go back.

Also, does anyone have a revere in 25 cal? If they're as accurate as the 22s seem to be, I may go that route since it will be a stalking/hunting gun.

Too bad they don't offer an unregulated revere with foster fitting.

Last week I returned a Gen 3 0.22 cal DAR that I bought last September because it suddenly lost 250 fps in velocity. That gun had less than 100 pellets through it. Yesterday, I got out my Gen 3 0.25 cal DAR that I also bought last September. The first 15 or so shots were fine. I then topped it off to 3000 psi and shot it and immediately noticed a drop in velocity. After about 8 or 10 shots it seemed to be back up to shooting normally. I decided to air it back up and shoot a string over the chrony. I found that the first 6 shots gradually increased from 530 fps to 725 fps which was at a gauge reading of 2900 psi. The next 30 shots were 725 fps or more with a maximum of 780 fps with pressure of 2900 down to 1600 psi. Shots 36 to 50 dropped from 725 down to 510 fps. So, I thought maybe 3000 psi is too much pressure for some reason so I filled it up to only 2600 psi thinking that would be in the sweet range but wouldn't you know, it did the same thing with the first several shots being low on velocity. To top all this off, during doing this , the gun decided to randomly dump ALL the air and now it has a slow leak which it didn't have before. This is supposedly a regulated gun, I didn't think regulated guns had this bell shaped velocity curve?? Could this be a bad regulator? bad o-rings?

With all the fancy stuff emerging nowadays, does this quaint outfit still have a place? About 28 FPE with 22 cal. Rich wood stock. Close to standard rifle design, not the tactical look at all. It is also priced affordable. Why not? Sorry, it is the R10 SE.

I took these two guns out today and did some shooting. The old Bosler that was most likely made in the 1740's was recently resealed using modern materials.

The Bosler was shooting a .465 ball which is undersized and I had no patches on hand... needless to say, it's accuracy suffered.

Career was shooting 495 round balls.

Bosler, 750psi and it went 614FPS
Career, 3000psi and that went 617FPS

I need to get better fitting ammo for the Bosler and see what it does though...

I have had this scope for a few days now I have run into some problems that I did not realize till I played around with it. I hope this can help somebody on this form. I would like to see you add any other thing we run into.

I was watching the screen on my phone from my Wi-Fi when I would notice the screen would lock up. I would pick the phone up and move it towards the scope and the screen would start running again. I have figured out that you are not within 18 inches of the scope with your phone. same issue would be when you were downloading files it would show down.

The next problem that I ran into was did not realize there was an update firmware for the ballistics calculator, I could not upload any profiles until I uninstalled the app and reinstall it, and then had to reinstall all of my profiles .

So the next thing that I ran into was I have several profiles one is low power, and the other one was high power for the same rifle. One would be short range at 15 yards. If you use the rangefinder, it will tell you are out of range after 30 yards .

I had used this scope on a rifle that had recoil and after every shot, the scope would turn off realizing later I did not have the battery cap tight enough.

Wood stocks and springers have my attention these days.
Could not pass up this deal.

I have 2 air arms tx200s in 22 caliber one tx200 and one tx200 HC. When I run them over a chronograph they are at around 640 FPS with H&N FTT 14.66 gr. Is this normal or low. Thanks for any input Jimmy

Finally, I've got some bodies, these youngsters didn't listen to their momma and went out anyway. Seems that they were no match for my Maverick .25 Sniper using 26gr RMR/FX Hybrids at 1040fps. 52 yards, stiff wind from behind me.

I want to chrony the GB but it’s not easy to break the valve even at 150psi. This thing is insane. I don’t want to whack my chrony. Estimate gotta be over 400fps. I might add a longer barrel.
Any data if you have one? I know it’s not a toy.

I have a synthetic stock for the Dreamline Classic. I bought it directly from FX USA. It has been put on my Dreamline one time for 5 days while I repaired my busted stock. Didn’t know how the repair would work out. I was happy with the repair so I took it off and put it in my safe. Like brand new. I do not have the two mounting screws that came with it. I’m moving and they’re packed somewhere in my trailer. If it doesn’t sell before I start unpacking in about a month or so, I’ll relist when I find them. $220 shipped CONUS. Now $200 shipped.

I haven't had much success with the 25gr Hades in any of my other .22 rifles (Leshiy 2, Caiman, Ranger). Tried them in the Commander this morning and found a winner. 30yds. I didn't have the chrony mounted so no numbers for comparison and energy info. Transfer port is on the highest setting. The first five shots were in the same hole but the remaining six opened it up some. Same with the CPHC's in the upper right. First half of the mag nearly one hole, then opening up with the remaining shots. I start getting uncomfortable in the shooting position and lose patience. Fun stuff, regardless!

I am receiving Atomic XR on Friday as Ranger was "out of stock" in .22 at AOA. Any 3rd Party magazines? Where can I get an adapter to make the folding stock? Where can I get zero degree vertical pistol grip? Suggestions for most accurate ammo and what velocity for them? I'm in CT USA

I’m very tempted to buy a Brocock Atomic XR. Are there any alternatives that I should be considering for the same or preferably less money?

I watched some videos and this thread is great.
I also browsed this thread, but nothing jumped out to me more than the Atomic.

Mostly will be plinking and targets in the yard 15-50yds and occasional FT.
What I want:
Accurate, enough to try some field target with it, but I don’t need any better than the Atomic for my skill.
Compact, folding is great but doesn’t have to if it is reasonably short.
Sub 20 FPE, preferably in .22, or tune to sub 20 while maintaining accuracy.
Decent shot count on a fill.
Consistent shot to shot.
Removable magazine, the only thing I don’t like about the GK1.
Quiet enough for backyard with neighbors.
Would be awesome to have semi-automatic also, but that seems to be a different beast at a different price point.
Also looks like the Atomic is reasonably reliable and repairable, so that is a strong plus. Any bad experiences?

UPS dropped off this Wildcat MK2 in .25 yesterday afternoon. I promptly aired it up, mounted an Athlon Helos BTR 2-12 (mil) and stoked it with 26.5 JBS Hades pellets. After a little HS tune, I had it sighted in at 40 yards into ragged holes at 890fps.

Couldn’t wait to put a few bodies on it, so I headed out to the dairy. Ranged this guy at 68 yards, dialed the 1.6 mils in the turret, held a mil of right wind…. and rolled her hard. Shot a few more at ranges between 40-75 yards in a nasty wind.

I think I’m gonna like this rig….
