I own a Uragan 1 in .22 Cal, so I know it is extremely comfortable to shoulder, but I am thinking on the possibility of buying a Uragan 3 king in the future and I do not know if the advantage of the double bottle compromise the ergonomics.

Very nice Walther Parrus rifle in .177. Very powerful, (18,9 ft/lbs) using 10.65 gr. H&N Baracuda Match pellets at 895 fps. Overall condition is near excellent.
My personal opinion on both the Terrus and the Parrus is that the overall quality of the rifles is excellent. The barrel lock up is to me, one of the most satisfying of all of my break barrels. Just a gentle, positive "click". You can just feel the quality. The triggers on the "sporting guns" is where Walther falls short. They're decent triggers, but they don't stack up to other German makes.

I’m reclining on cellar couch catching up on here and was thinking about money spent recently on my new airgun hobby. I found it amusing that when I was actively hunting and shooting from 14 to about 60 my equipment was based on getting the job done with no frills. Frugal is the nicer way to put it, cheap f ck not so.
I can only imagine the fine rifles especially I would have accumulated if working on life itself wasn’t a concern. Sorry getting melancholic . The loss of friends, hunting land , and body strength means I can only dream about it.
Not so with the Airguns . Today will be looking for that 0.22 inch hole that 5 of the various AEA and JTS new to try pellets passed through. Only 13 yards.

As often as trigger pull comes up as a sub-topic regarding almost any gun these days it seems like maybe I'm missing something here because it's never been something I've given much regard to.

Maybe being a poor I've never really had the opportunity to touch real magic, or maybe it's nerve damage. I dunno, but it hasn't been a biggie to me & I seem to adapt to whatever is in hand.

What about you? Is it deal-breaker as it seems to be for many?

Avenge X in 25 cal. The rifle 3 months old and has about 500 pellets through it. I had noticed that the regulator seemed to be creeping a lot more than it should. Using the analog gauge, I had the setting at about 160 bar. Overnite the Reg would creep up to around 200 bar.

Putting on a digital gauge showed that to be the case. Reg was actually at 165 bar. Overnite it rose to 205 bar. if I fired a shot, the reg would come to a kind of stable point at the 165 number but it would be creeping upwards constantly at a rate of roughly 1 bar/10 seconds.

I pulled the regulator looking for any issues. As far as I could see, the plenum seat and the piston seal looked ok. The o ring on the piston looked a bit dry so I lubed that. I also cleaned off the seat and the seal.

Pumping back up and setting the reg again to 165 it appeared that the creep was reduced. Leaving it overnite , the reg creeped to 183 bar. When I fired it, the reg seemed to settle at 155 bar.

Does this seem normal? Maybe the piston seal is janky somehow? Perhaps this regulator set up just works like this? If I was shooting the rifle, I would certainly be sending the pellets out at pretty much the same pressure unless I waited a really long time before shooting. It should be said that my last shooting, I was getting the 25 grain JSB’s at 920 FPS with a SD of 4.5. That seemed pretty good so maybe that’s all I should be worried about.

So this is regarding the GK1 but am sure it apples to all Airguns. If I fill my gun to the states 5k and I go to a cold weather environment and the gun goes down to say 4600psi, should I bring it back up to 5k or just leave it where she sits? The same old apply to the bottle as well right?

Found this just now. Only $550 Aus. If I had room in my safe I’d buy it in a heart beat but my safe only holds 4 rifles and I don’t want anymore then four. I’d have to trade one. I’m not going to trade my LGV Challenger or my Hw77 Stainless or my Hw50S. The only one left is my Benjamin Titan.

I have a Walther LGM-2 SSP and an FWB 600 SSP for sale. Walther is in great shape and shoots lime it should. Minor use marks as expected from a rifle like this. Has lower cocki.g.lever for earier scope mounting.

FWB 600 also in great shape although in bright light you can see some discoloration in the gluing here and there. Ther is also a spot under the cooking arm where the little rubber pad rests that has freckled a small area.

600 has a cheap FWB sight, globe front sight with one insert, a loading gate kit to make a cut down gate for scope mou ti g if you wish, and a spare set of seals (seals photo is in with the Walther pics. Sorry.

Here's the deal. This one got wet. It's a .177 cal. rifle with some "amature" modifications that you can see in the attached video. However, this was stored, muzzle up when a plumbing leak directly above it developed. It's fully functional and seems to retain full power. However, the bore is rusted and I have doubts as to whether it can be restored. So, If you'd want to pay the shipping plus $10 for my shipping supplies, I'll send it of to you for free. I made a suggestion to a guy with a bad barrel ? any way i suggested to buy an LW barrel and replace the HW barrel by removing the HW from the breach block and machine the LW barrel to fit . Now thinking about it , can that be done ? maybe drilling the HW barrel out of the block using a drill to fit the new barrel ?

Up for sale is a FX Impact M2 with the 700mm .25cal barrel. It is a great rifle and in great shape. I have never had any issues with it. I put it away in the fall after the last time I went out shooting woodchucks and the pressure gauge was right where I left it.

The accuracy is fantastic as you would expect out of an Impact. It has taken woodchucks from 10-100 yards. We used this rifle for accuracy testing of the Benjamin Match Grade 27.9g pellets. It shot them almost as well as the JSBs at 30 and 50 yards.

It is tuned to run JSB 34g pellets at 910-915fps.

I have added a carbon fiber barrel sleeve (not glued) and a Saber Tactical rail with both ARCA and Pic. Otherwise, it is stock.

Hey yall, been a lurker for a bit and wanted to see if Athlon optics are a good optic to start with an FX impact. I’m brand new to PCP guns and I haven’t seen the normal firearm optics (vortex/leupold/eotech/nightforce).

Curious as to what everyone wears for shooting glasses when shooting field target. I’m looking at shooting some matches this year and they are required for all shooters and was wondering what everyone wears.

I got a 22 caliber Caiman X last year but didn't try slugs in it until recently. When I cleaned it there was a noticeable choke and I just concentrated on pellets. But I had most of a tin of 21 and 25 grain H&N slugs and I was bored so I tried a few groups. To my surprise groups were pretty good. 3/8 to 9/16 inch for five shots at 30 yards. That is worse than it's favorite 18 grain pellet but it's close. So I ordered a sampler which is on its way. But I'm wondering if I should increase the regulator before additional testing.

I get about 910 on 18 grain pellets. I turned up the hammer spring and got them to about 925. The 21 grain slugs were at about 825 with the pellet tune and 860 with more hammer spring. The 25 grain barely get to 800.

These speeds seem OK for pellets but slow for slugs. Should I turn the reg up 10 or possibly 20 bar and see if I can't get the 25 grain up around 900 fps?

A related question is how much difference velocity is likely to make. For pellets I think it is more of a fine tuning thing. If a gun likes a pellet at 800 it will also like it at 880 but accuracy may still improve a little at a specific velocity. If slugs are typically similar to this then I can decide the weight the gun likes best and then vary the velocity.

What if there was a spring gun where the spring tube housing was below the barrel? The entire barrel and breach would sit atop with a small port to the pellet chamber not unlike a PCP at the rear. The pellet gate would also be fully rearward. The gun would be cocked either by an under lever or by the entire barrel to breech assembly. Not only would the rifle be much more compact but the scope would now be located on the barrel, not the breach, and the recoil would be in the correct direction thus no longer (?) requiring air gun rated scopes.

What if cocking used a ratchet system such that cocking could take two, three or even more strokes, depending upon the force of the gas spring or steel spring? Much more powerful springs could be used with longer travel or take half or less effort to cock?

The tube with a spring with a barrel on a hinge at the end is kind of getting old in tooth. As I sit here cleaning the barrel of my Marlin 1895. My interest is making the rifle much more compact and portable and potentially easier to cock.
