Went to my permission today at 0900 with my faithful retriever Pete, Phil met us there. Cool/cold overcast with the sun TRYING to peek through. Got sighted in at 75 yards, for a change everything lined up. Saw one at 110 yards but wasn't a safe shot, people working on the road. Saw one scurrying into a Burrow close by but no time to grab a gun. Phil sat on it for quite a while but it stayed in. Finally saw one out at 105 yards, let fly with a .25 26gr RMR slug, THUNK, down it went, then it started moving but I could barely see it and didn't have a good second shot, Pete and Phil went out to find the body, but apparently it crawled into a burrow, darn no body for the count. Sun started to come out and ...oh look one to the right by the road side, went over to get a bit closer, Phil ranged it at 53 yards or so, got zeroed in it sat up and, THUNK 26gr. and down it went, I gave it one more to make sure, Pete and Phil went over to find it, they wandered around aimlessly trying to find it, I went over to needle them then Phil found it wedged in a VERY tight hole. Hit it just above the front R shoulder. These things are slippery, I need to modify my grabber a bit to get more of a purchase on them. I was going too say I used my Tequila but....It was my Maverick .25.

We carry the Tequila in case it's still breathing, should carry some Tequila just because....

Apparently they come out more in the evening, just when I can't get there. oh well. On the bright side they actually mowed the weeds this year so it'll be easier to get the few remaining ones.

If I send my JTS Max barrel to you, along with an LW barrel blank, who can machine the breech end to match the jts, and the muzzle end 1/2-20?

Also any of you who do this? happen to have an LW Barrel in .22 in stock? This is for a rifle shooting pellets.


Breech threads onto barrel, then steps up to the barrel nut, then runs .63" all the way down to the muzzle.

I have the 25 caliber mini hunter, chassis version.

It’s shooting 3/4 to 1 inch groups at 50 yards using JSB, AEA and JTS 33-34 grain pellets. No real measurable accuracy difference between them. 825 ish FPS.

I’ve tried 2 different moderators and bare muzzle.

I called RAW and they suggested shooting at 100 yards to see how it groups. He said I may find the group size to be not much bigger at 100 than 50. He said this is possible because the pellet is still trying to stabilize at closer range because of precession and turbulence behind the pellet. (I’m paraphrasing him).
Has anyone ever experienced this phenomenon? It seems possible but unlikely to me.

He also suggested fine tuning the hammer spring by increasing tension. I’m hesitant to do this because the velocity spread impressively good. It seems like if turbulence behind the pellet was a problem decreasing the hammer would be the way to go, no?

About to purchase an HW50 in .22 caliber, based upon the excellent luck I've had with my .177, HW50. I'm regularly dropping water bottles and soda cans at 40 yards,. The .177 has a Williams diopter rear and Weihrauch red fiber optic up front. I like its weight, relative cocking ease and overall length. Trouble is, a velocity under 600 fps gives me pause about buying the .22. I'm considering an R9 in .22, but the cocking effort is higher and the rifle is heavier and longer. Will I be disappointed by the added weight of the R9? I don't hunt and I've had experience with the Diana 34 and other springers featuring 950--1000 fps, which I don't need. I'm simply looking to add a .22 springer for plinking and fun,. The HW50 velocity seems really slow. Can anyone weigh in on the HW50 performance in .22?

Have a need for CF tank. Just started looking.. I'm thinking ~98 cuft / 4500 psi.
I currently have an AL tank with a QD, gauge etc.. Appears I will need a new set up with fill hose,QD , gauge, bleeder, etc..

I found that when I convert my Ghost to the carbine length, I really prefer the shorter OEM under rail / trigger guard

I bought the Marauder 25 back in 2016 for pest control of squirrels, rabbits and racoons at 25-50yd ranges. I was never overly happy with the shot count or the accuracy. It sat for several years collecting dust, but I recently decided to give it a second chance before potentially spending $1-2k for something more capable. My goal was to get about 16 consistent shots of the 26.54g Hades pellet at around 830-850fps.

I replaced all seals and cleaned the barrel for good measure. I added a Huma regulator and the Jefferson State TSS springs. I can barely touch 800fps for maybe about 8shots. This is with a 3000psi fill, the valve meter screw wide open, regulator around 160bar (I started at 130 and worked my way up to increase fps), and gradually increasing the hammer spring tension to its current point of being nearly maxed out. This setup eliminates any free-flight and seems to defeat the entire purpose of the TSS. The hammer striker is also fully retracted to give the longest hammer throw. (Side note on the TSS...I feel like it was $85 down the drain. In order to maintain free-flight I have to have the screw backed out so much that I was only getting about 550fps with regulator set to 130bar. With the regulator set to 160bar, I was barely getting 300fps.)

Is the Marauder capable of doing what I want without adding additional components, or should I cut my losses and move onto something else?

With a Manufactured/ first inspection on 12/11 it is for those who own a compressor as it probably won’t get filled by a shop due to the expired inspection date.

Works perfectly fine and I fill it to 300 bars all the time. There are 2 small gauges in the valve. One for tank pressure and the other one for hose/fill pressure. Both in PSI.

I'm uncertain on the proper method for removing the bottle of an impact m4. This is just for curiosity sake...in order to remove the bottle, does the rifle have to be degassed? Or can the bottle safely just be unscrewed/removed?
If degassing is required, what is the proper method to degass the rifle?

Easy question. I inherited a few thousand Norma 9.1 grain pellets and am wondering if they are on the high end of what my Beeman R7 can safely handle. I don’t want to over-work or strain it’s power plant. Thanks, Tom
