So hung a new ( to me ) pot on the 75y rack and wanted to hear its report so had the r9 scoped handy but not a mildot just plain crosshair. So it figured how well i coulg holdover without mildot help. Just wing it to around a bout on the vertical line

Wow! Getting dime sized groups with just about everything I've tried so far, besides crow mags. Those did decent too.

Without wind, it would've been a much tighter group. One flier, but I dont sort pellets. Inside of 25, itll stack crosmans. I haven't put 100 pellets down the pipe yet.

Also, she got her first blood on a young starling who obviously couldn't hear this rig because it's very quiet.

to preface,

bought my notos in February of this year,
sort-of as a niche gun for times my impact would blow through the silo/barn roofs.

wasnt completely happy with it out of the box, the factory mag seemed to not group well,
so i snagged a carm mag,
made a world of difference in accuracy.


so i made the trigger nice,
adjusted the hammer spring to really flatten the shot string
(24 shots,749fps with 16gn fx pellets +- 2fps)

if you are a penny at 35yds you are in serious peril.
and at 50yds it will do better than an inch on a windless day.

so why would i want to sell it right?

after getting it setup i took 60+ hosps and starlings with it,
but now it just sits in the case.

when i go to my permissions i never seem to take it,
and my impact is too powerful for shooting in my yard,
so at home i shoot my sig virtus .22 semi and sig m17 pistol. (too much fun)

In my attempt to try and get decent fps out of my crown mk2 i have bought a stiffer spring from huma air.
Out of the box i cant get the crown to shoot more than 890 with 13.4gr at 140bar and max internal HS adjuster.
Someone told me that I May have a weak spring so I bought one from huma.
I have also drilled a bigger TP in my barrel from 3.5mm to 5mm and that didnt do anything to my fps.
But now I see that the air go into a hole in my pellet probe and out and that has to be the restriction that holds everything i do back, so Will this new spring actualy help me in this matter or is a slug/pin probe a better upgrade?
It dosent help with bigger hole in my TP when the hole in the probe is much smaller?

I'm looking at buying a BRK Ghost HP .30 cal. I wanna switch the bottle to 580cc 300 bar. But is the 250 bar stock fill limit determined by the stock bottle or the regulator? Because if it's the reg, then that would mean that no matter what bottle I got, I could never fill to 300 bar.

So I guess the elephant in the room is.....Is anyone filling their Ghost to 300 bar....period?

I used to drink this coffee when I lived in Japan. Japanese are crazy for canned coffee, go figure. A little Asian grocery store opened by my house so I stopped in to check it out. I started to nickname some of my airguns, this one is Blonde. She has a gorgeous piece of wood. Anyways its a AZ Tuned and modified Theoben Rapid .22cal non regulated. Setup shooting a JSB 18gr at 900fps. It was a very calm evening last night and she wanted to stretch her legs.I shoot 9 shots at 100yds, 7 out of 9 were MOA groups. I smile every time I shoot this Rapid. I have owned several in the past and did the young dumb thing and sold them to try something else. Man, do I appreciate them now! The shot cycle is so smooth it doesn't even move. Thank you so much AZ.

I have been loosing velocity with my tx, Change to a vortek pg4ho and velocity still low. So I went to change transfer port o rings and the transfer port came out with the rings, I am just wondering if this is why I am loosing velocity. Ordered a new spring, not here as yet. should I lock tite the port back in. Steve!

I have an m3 first reg delete with a huma reg installed secondary. When screwing the bottle in the reg gauge it's going to the level the bottle is charged to like it's bypassing the reg. Should I take the reg out and check the orings in it?

I had not shot my .177 Akela in weeks…. was texting with a friend who also has one… motivated me to pick it up…

….but a storm was rolling in. Set up a 30 Yard Challenge card anyways… 3 shots to zero with new tin of 10.3g FX pellets…

… shot a 190 7X… no sighters - 24 straight shots from the tin using Akela magazines.

… in the rain, and the wind, in the dark… with a 14x Athlon Talos BTR FFP scope. Reticle too thick for tiny target so to “frame” the bullseye I use the space gap between the center “t” in reticle and when the crosshairs begin.

Shot the whole card in less then 10 minutes to get me and equipment out of the rain.

Think its easy? Try it - 30 Yard Challenge with an inexpensive, unregulated .177 (that you haven’t shot lately) and 14x scope in the rain, wind and in poor visibility…. in the mud, and the blood and the beer, lol.

Low Psi shooting 22- 46 cal balls in less than 30 seconds at 1,000fps with about 800psi created with hand pumps.. and replaceable air tanks. Currently, a .45 cal lead ball weighs in at 137grains...

There's a litter of groundhogs and a mama in my yard total of 7 groundhogs. Landlord wants them gone so figured I'd test my air rifle out.
(Jts airacuda standard .25 with h&n hornets). 10 yards I took one out with a perfect shot to the head outside of the groundhogs hole. Now I'm new to this so not gonna lie it tugged on the soul a bit, but maybe somebody could chime in on the matter idk. As soon as the shot hit he went limp for a second then started flopping like crazy so now my hearts Going a mile a minute. Now i assume i hit his brain since he was flopping so that made me feel bit better. He then stopped flopping and I took another shot to the head neck area then he was still, sould I have did a follow shot like I did? Also the mama comes out right after sniffs him a bit then grabs him with her mouth and drags him in the hole so now I can't even confirm were he (or she) was hit. After that I told the landlord I aint shooting no more groundhogs.
So yea I guess my question is was it super f'd up that I shot one of the little hogs?
And can I leave them be and will they eventually relocate themselves?

****EDIT**** the 100 FPE .30 is gone so is the bottom stock in this pictur, but the Winchester stock is still availlable and now sits on the .25.

I have a Huggett Magna fitted to a 40 ft-lb .22 pcp and I'm not at all impressed with the sound moderation.

Maybe it's as good as it gets. But, on the off chance, any recommendations for an alternative, quieter .22 mod at 40 ft-lb than a Huggett Magna ?
