Quick question with a need for some not so quick answers.

Q? has anyone done a FPS check or chart for the Various Sheridans based on the Caliber and pellet weight and # of pumps?

Examples of what i am trying to find:

.177 (1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8) strokes 7.3 Gr = fps = ?

.20 (1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8) strokes 11.4 Gr = fps = ?

.22 (1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8) strokes 14.1 Gr = fps = ?

yes i am being a bit lazy here because i want to protect my 69 year ol shoulders. So if i can save a bit of multiple pumping sessions it would really help.

Hello everyone. I think I have a problem with the regulator on my Alphawolf. For the past few days, I’ve noticed worse consistency and accuracy when shooting. I did the tissue test to check if there was an air leak at the transfer port, but it was actually my daughter who noticed, when sitting next to me, that every time I shot (only when shooting) air was coming out through the regulator knob.

Initially, I had it set at 84 bar, although the rifle was suggesting that I increase it to 140 bar. I ran some tests, and when I raised it to 140 bar the leak with each shot was considerably smaller than at 84, but there’s still air escaping. I understand this isn’t normal, but before taking anything apart I wanted to make sure that I really do have a problem. Thanks for reading.

Hello I've been working on building a bull style stock to put underneath my hatsan at44. I don't have a plethora of tools or skills to attempt this latest adventure. What I have done so far is to start 3 times and failed 3 times. But each restart was due to different problems and each time I start over I carry that knowledge over to the next. So now I'm on #4 and I'm further along than I have been with my other attempts. The trigger linkage is where the journey takes an abrupt stop. It's close but not right. Spongy sticky stiff are some of the polite words I use to describe it. I WILL FIGURE IT OUT but I did have to step back and leave the trigger for another day. So I did some work on the exterior. A little premature to do the outside before I have the insides working. Hopefully it won't be another lesson of what not to do on the next one. Anyway here's a few pictures of my progress. Let me know what you think. If anyone reading this has done this particular project I would really like to hear from you on possible solutions to trigger linkage hurdles.

It's the opening valve on my Huben GK1. I got it a few months ago, emptied the mag twice, then it developed a leak. Due to other more pressing issues, I wasn't able to address the teardown until today. When I did, I noticed the face of the opening valve looks like it's made of concrete, and there was no plastic cover for the striker.

Did I get hosed?

These pellets are extremely hard to beat. Incredibly consistent and makes a good regulator GREAT. I’ve run through 18 different brands and weights of pellets and so far these are the clear winner in my BRK pathfinder on high power and lower power at 14 FPE. Just bought a HR 83 is anyone else shooting these rifles.

I got my first groundhog last week. This is the first one I've seen on our property but I wasn't about to wait until it fully establishes itself near our house. It took 12 days from the first time I saw it until the kill shot. I've had it in my scope sights a couple of times prior but I just didn't get a shot then. I learned its habits and schedules and waited for it on that faithful day. At first, I noticed that it was very skittish and well aware of its surroundings. It was very sensitive to even the slightest sounds. As time went on, it started to become noticeably more comfortable and more complacent being in our backyard.

Taipan Veteran Standard .25 caliber at 44 FPE shooting JSB King Heavy at 765 FPS. The shot was from 18 meters away from inside a window. One shot between the left eye and left ear.

Pardon the blurry face. I'm still not totally comfortable taking animals even for pesting purposes. Although, I do eat a lot of animals.

I just finished shooting 10 5 shot groups at 30 yards with my P35-22. I shot my first 200 on the 30 yard challenge two years ago with this gun using H&N 21 grain "Match" pellets. I shot a couple 198s earlier this year with it. But the last 3 targets were 189s. I cleaned the barrel (wasn't dirty) and checked the screws and found the stock screws loose but it didn't get better when I tightened them. I was pretty bummed. I like this gun. Tonight I started shooting groups with mainly 18 grain pellets to see if maybe it had just decided it liked them better or something. FX and JSB 18.1s were pretty good and H&N 18s were not bad (but the point of impact was much higher for some reason). Then I shot a group with the Match pellets and the velocity was only about 800 fps. It normally shoots these about 820 fps. It doesn't have enough power to shoot them much faster. The group at 800 was poor, consistent with the 189s. So I gave it half a turn on the Hammer Spring. Velocity went up to 820 or a little more and the group was probably the smallest I shot. Not much bigger than the 9 ring diameter. Then I tried the JSBs at that setting and I think they got better too.

I did not turn the hammer spring down but the gun wanted it turned up. I remain unsure that the accuracy difference is due to the velocity or a harmonic thing with the gun liking more hammer spring. But I don't care. One of my favorite, perhaps my favorite, airgun seems to be back to shooting quite accurately. If the weather cooperates tomorrow hopefully I will shoot another 195+ target with it.

Trying to purchase specific o-rings for FX Dynamic without out purchasing entire kit or ordering 75 pieces to reach a certain $ amount some I don't even see listed by Captain O-ring or the O-ring store....very frustrating any help would be appreciated

1. You only can use one arm/hand to load, add air, and shoot at squirrels at a distance of 25-35 yards while standing at back door. Accurate and ease of use is priority (right arm not working yet)

2. The guns must be stock a PCP Pistol ( favorite/necessary grips are ok along with scope/red dot)

3. If you have another pcp pistol preference please advise which one and where to get in USA and why you believe it is better. Must not be over$499. Is it really 200-300 $ better?
