PCP Pistol  WTS Barely used, excellent condition .25 AEA SS Tac Pistol

Really fun to shoot. But I also have an AEA SS Plus all decked out that I use and this one is just collecting dust. Fired maybe 200 shots out of it. I installed a brand new valve pin as well just to "reset" its life expectancy (easy to do if it ever fails). No leaks, wear, or issues. Tiny scratch at the end of the barrell is the only sign it's used. Shoots slugs no problem. $300 plus shipping. Shipping from Florida east coast. Zelle or Venmo. Once you agree to puchase, I will get a shipping amount from US Pak-N-Ship right down the street here.
Comes with:
Gun
2 11-shot magazines
2 picatinny rail adapters
1 fill probe

I'll respond to DM's very quickly.
I know I haven't been very active on here, so if you have any credibility concerns let me know what I can do to put you at ease.

Results  OKCGC N50 match results and photos! May 2025

air gunners logo ideas-04 - Copy.jpg

Oklahoma City Had their 2nd N50 match of the year. We would have had an April match but we got just a little rain here! Actually a lot of rain!!
It was a nice day to shoot temperature wise but a little switch wind. The wind stayed around 5-7 mph but was really switching from all direction making it tuff to read. We had 17 shooters show up and shot the first match. And 9 of those guys stayed and shot the second match! We all had a great time shooting N50, as we always do!!!😍. Here are the scores and photos.
Thanks to all that help setup and tear down for the matches. Cannot do it with Y'all.....

Palm Beach Airgun introduces the IA Fix Mod

  • Question
Hill Airgun

!!Update!!
So i couldn't see how to delete this post so im updating .
Just received a email and my package was shipped with tracking already so yeah i was just being to high strung.
Thanks Hill, awsome!
Anyone purchase from Hill Airgun recently?
Is he still in business?
Maybe a one man band who isn't the best with email?
I've seen nothing but good things about Hill here so I placed a order very late Friday or very early Saturday (couldn't sleep) and I haven't received any kind of order confirmation or anything. On Google there are some not so great things but most are older, like around pandemic times. I emailed today but no reply yet.
Maybe doesn't work Saturday Sunday or Monday?

Tuning  Jumping to conclusions. When knowledge, resources and ability are a curse.

I believe the more you know doesn’t make you immune to getting spun. A new guy to a hobby gets spun over the things experienced guys easily work through. The experienced guy gets spun sometimes worse by overthinking things or overlooking the obvious. I recently was about to set fire to a gun because it just wasn’t shooting as good as it did previously. Did a bunch of testing, found nothing so I put it back on its original settings. I was in a topic conversation and a guy 6gun had mentioned barrel cleaning being one of the slug hurdles. I knew I didn’t have that many shots through the gun but it does go long periods of inactivity. Even though I didn’t reach my cleaning number, I cleaned it anyway. Bam, accurate gun again. I went on a nut mission when all my gun needed was cleaned.

Here we are a month later. Another gun with a barrel I built was always a pretty good performer. After hunting season I was giving it the monthly checkup I do with some of my guns that require it. I wasn’t happy. Yes, the first thing I did was clean the barrel this time. It was solid at 30 & 50 yards but not as good as I’d like at 75 & 100. So I changed the reg pressure and got to its happy speed a different way. It was good to go. A couple nights ago I got it out to shoot it and it wasn’t good. I got pissed, went down to the shop and retrieved a TJ barrel I used on a RTI back in 2019. It was a shooter but I had to push that old Priest pretty hard while using it. I had to work some machining wizardtry making what I had to work with fit a FX. I got done with it but before I tore the gun down to install it and the components that accommodate it, I shot the gun again. Tack driver. Got up today and picked off starlings out to 115 yards. So the newly machined barrel now gets set aside.

Moral of the story is I spent hours machining a barrel because I could. If I didn’t have that option, I probably would have started twisting knobs and digging into pounds of other slugs in the stash because I could. What I need to get back to is just not jumping to conclusions and maybe blame myself for having a bad day or overlooking something obvious because I should. I think the hardest thing for some of us to admit is we are just having a bad shooting day. These guns, especially with slugs can make us paranoid and quick to cast blame. I need to burn it into my brain. It takes three consecutive shooting sessions of unhappiness before I dive in deeper than a barrel cleaning.

Altaros Dominance at Oregon Extreme Airgun Competition

@Altaros Slugs again dominated at the Airguns of Arizona and Airgun Oregon Extreme Airgun Competition. I need to get the exact numbers, but as far as I can tell almost ALL of the top shooters at the 100Y Benchrest (Slug) and the Long-Range Challenge shot Altaros, either .22 cal 40 grain Kings, .25 cal 49.5 grain Smooth or .25 cal 60 grain Queens. Even shooters that normally don't shoot Altaros (and there were a few but we won't mention names) shifted over to them when the competition was on the line.

I shot Altaros .25 caliber 60 grain Queens and they were absolutely amazing... 5th in 100Y BR Slug, but gun broke during Long Range - I was doing well. 😞 Team Centercut had five shooters competing with Altaros slugs.

The Winner at the 100Y BR (Slugs) shot the .25 cal 60 grain Queens.
The Winner at the Long-Range Challenge shot the .25 cal 49.5 grain Smooth.
Altaros Slugs. Simply next generation precision and accuracy!!!

Seeking advice: Home-filling a 100 cu ft 4500 tank

I have a 100 ft3 4500 psi SCBA tank that I use for refills at the range. My dive shop just raised prices on fills so I'm thinking that changes the math for home-filling vs dive shop.

What do I need to know before I start spending money?

What's a good compressor that's low-maintenance and cheap-ish that can handle this?

Thanks in advance!

FX  FX Wildcat Mk1 Resurrection

Hi,
I'd be very grateful for any ideas as to what is / has been wrong with my air rifle. I apologise for the long winded posting!

Its been a while, but life and a move to open a business in France has got in the way of my air gunning.
This posting is because I always want to know "why?" something either works or doesn't. My Dad was a far more contented person, because he generally accepted that some things didn't need explaining, so he enjoyed himself instead of wondering and posting on forums :)

I have (finally!) unpacked my FX Wildcat Mk1 (UK 12ft/lbs) from it's storage after several years, gathering dust.
It still held full pressure and was totally unmarked. I added some pellets to the mag and fired it - terrible! Inconsistent and weak. I could throw the pellets further!

So I bought one of those mini digital chronographs (looks a bit like a four poster bed!) and tested the gun. At best 9ft/lbs!
Air pellet supplies are as patchy as reliable deliveries out here in rural france, so I'm glad I already had some trusty .22 Accupells.

Anyway, I went to refill the gun from my diver's bottle and the O rings blew on the filling probe! The local gun shop had never seen one, so I travelled further afield and had to buy a complete unit - which worked fine!

Then the gun developed an air leak at the filling end of the cylinder! I had some O rings that I bought when I bought the gun and managed to replace it. Then the O ring leaked at the other end grrr! (due to the tapping at the other end maybe?) I replaced that as well. Finally it holds air again.

Same bad results on the Chronograph though.

Because of where I am, I'm limited to what I can buy online (and expect to ever arrive!), so I thought I'd adjust the hammer spring.
I tried a hot air gun on the tamper seal - no use, even at 280C! I then read a non-airgun article about a guy who uses brake cleaner to break Loctite bolts open. Tried it - bloomin' perfect. Unscrewed easily!

So after 2 full turns of the adjuster, I'm up to 13.9ft/lbs (the limit for non FAC in France is 14.75).
The gun now shoots 1/2" groups at 30m again.

So, what "is" the problem/fault? Should I leave it as it is, or investigate further?
All help and advice thoroughly welcome.
Thanks

Air Tanks  SOLD Scott SCBA 60min Tank & Fill Valve

Up for sale is my Scott SCBA tank and filling station with home made PVC tote. The tank will expire in October this year and was last hydro tested in 2018. After October this tank will not be filled by any commercial fill stations making it suitable for the person who has his/her own compressor….use at your own risk. The tank has always been protected by the neoprene sleeve seen in the attached pics thus other than minor surface marks, it has no deep scratches nor gouges that would compromise it’s integrity . It comes equipped with everything seen in the attached pics.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:The tank is in very nice condition. This tank is recommended for buyers who have their own air compressor or access to one as most if not all reputable air fill shops may have limits on hydrotesting and refilling due to the 10/2010 mfg date of this bottle. “The Standard 15yr Life For Firefighter Use is Expired”. If you don’t have your own air compressor then please reach out to your local air fill shop to verify if they will refill this tank before purchasing. This air tanks will be shipped empty with valves open to follow shipping rules and regulations.

I’m offering this complete as shown in the pics for $235.00 plus shipping. Shipping cost will be determined by buyers address. I am able to get discounted shipping t by FedEx through PayPal Shipping. PM me with any questions.

Our newest FX model. And people are liking it.

Here at TopGun-Airguns.com, we're always trying new things. Actually, we made a couple of these beauties before, and forgot about them, so maybe not the newest, but definitely cool!

I noticed that when you put a suppressor on an Impact Compact, there was a lot of wasted space under that barrel where the bottle would be. So I swapped out the 300cc bottle for a 700cc. That's 2 1/3 times the volume for TONS of shots! TopGun-Airguns.com calls it "The Compact Sniper".

The scope that was requested by the last 2 customers was the Element Helix Theos 6-36x, but it looks fine with the Element Nexus or Titan. The rings are Accutac with built in levels, and they are my favorite.

Oh, and for those of you that notice a magazine is in the Impact, that is our US made aluminum magazine (On sale for $99). That magazine can be inserted empty into the rifle without any pellets in it. (You'll figure it out if you get one.)

The bottom rail can either be a DonnyFL or Kraford and Lypt (Both very nice quality) with Arca Rail and Picatinny in the front.

The buttpad is the KLS-3 with Monopod Krayford and Lypt. Add one of our Accutac or Atlas Bipods and you have your own built-in bench rest.

Take care, safe shooting, and GOD bless!

Air Venturi  First .25 cal choices

I currently have a notos and original avenger in 22. I'm looking to purchase my first budget 25 and have it narrowed down to the avenge x wood stock tube or the barra 250z. I was ready to get the avenge x but the reg creep issues kept me from fully committing, then I discovered the 250z. Which one would you purchase if you could only pick one and why? I'm also strongly considering an sl30. The rifle will be used for shooting groups inside of 60 yards about 90% with the other 10% spent pesting.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Uragan Gen1 Compact, .22, Synthetic, XLNT, $865 Shipped CONUS

*** SOLD ***

I'll likely kick myself for selling this gun, as I have in the past. But the State closed our big shooting range and I don't need to deal with the ground squirrels destroying our berms any more...

I had one of these and loved it for ground squirrel control at the big range out to about 70 yards. Then I sold it when I bought my EVOL mini. But I sold that one off too, and really missed my Uragan Compact. Last June I saw that Tony at Talon Tunes had the last of the gen 1 Uragan Compacts, so I bought this gun.

Unfortunately in the Fall of last year we found out that we were losing our shooting range. I really didn't go after the ground squirrels after that - the range was becoming more theirs than ours and it didn't seem right to continue taking them out. So this gun has had very light/limited use.

One thing I love about these guns is their ability to hold zero. I could leave it in the gun bag for a month between matches, and when I pulled it out it was always dead on with the first shot. This one slings JSB Hades/FX Atomics (15.89 hollow point) at an average of 819 fps at the muzzle, as received and tuned by Talon Tunes.

Comes with everything you see in the pics - OEM box and soft case, owner's manual and TT test sheet, 2 OEM magazines, fill probe, fill whip, caliper and key ring.

$865 payable via PayPal Friends & Family, including shipping in the CONUS.

First "I'll take it" PM wins.

Thanks,
Tom

FX  Could this be my leak? (Gauge)

Hello members
I'm chasing down a leak on an FX Indy 25
It's leaking at 25B per hour
I have done
- balloon test (negative)
- Snoop solution at all external fittings and at the regulator vent hole
None have found the leak

I'm wondering if the gauge is the problem
PICTURE
NOTICE: at the 0 BAR/psi position there is a screw missing
SEE: the screw hanging out at the 60B position

Could that missing screw be causing the leak?

Thanks
Edward
