Ok I have a 600mm impact. The 700mm was only $50 more when buying a whole gun but I choose to go with the 600mm cause at the time I wanted a more compact gun. But after watching many YouTubers videos. I only see folks shooting the 700mm. And they are putting hole in hole at 50 and 100 yards. Really rare to see someone shoot a 600mm. My 600mm gun can't do that. I'm getting like 1inch group at 50 yards and about 2 inches group at 100 yards. So I'm thinking, did I choose the wrong barrel length? Now to upgrade to a 700mm. I have to pay $350 for a complete barrel kit. My goal is power to shoot slugs and accurate to 100 yards and more. Would upgrading to the 700mm will improve my accuracy or are these youtubers, won't name them but you guys know who they are. Are they picking only the best and don't show the whole story. Or is the 700mm just better than the 600mm.

Looking to trade for an FX Impact or Maverick compact in .22 preferably but will consider other configurations, may even consider other bullpups aswell of similar value.

I have a chance to buy a Impact Mk2 Matt Dubber Edition, I also have an abundance on CPHP's, has anyone tried shooting them in a Dubber Edition? I know it doesn't make alot of sense to shoot cheap pellets in an expensive gun but I have them and would like to shoot them with acceptable accuracy out of this gun if possible.

What’s the best tool for the job? I think most people would think you’re giving something up going with the pellet gun, but I don’t think so. I haven’t hunted small game with a rimfire since I got a pcp, but id say it increases my harvest.

I think a good pcp is the best squirrel harvesting tool ever devised. What do y’all think?

Dream Tact bought 9-30-21 so two years warranty left and I have the receipt. 400cc bottle, 600mm barrel, Tactical entry buttstock. Pictures show the only tiny flaws on the tank. Gun holds air and operates perfectly ie magazine indexes, safety operates, trigger has no issues (it is just as I bought it). I have not chronographed it as I do not have access to a chrono. My SPA M10 is in need of repair. Is there anyone that works on these? The the trigger group is fubar. The seemingly weak link to this gun. So, is there someone that repairs these airguns. Can the trigger group be swapped out with a more robust trigger group. I would like to get back to shooting this cannon. Please assist me in getting it functioning once again.

What is the BC of .177 JSB Hades 10.34 @ ~800fps?

I have been working on getting my Gen2 .177 Fortitude back to MOA or sub-MOA reliability with CPUM 10.5 pellets, but even after several barrel cleanings, the CPUMs just haven't come back to sub-MOA like they did for so long.

So... I once again tried the collection of pellets I recently purchased and low and behold! The Hades 10.34 are coming close to MOA and sometimes getting MOA @ ~800fps.

The only thing I don't know about the .177 JSB Hades 10.34 pellets is the ballistic coefficient to plug into ChairGun.

Without changing anything, the Hades are shooting ~800fps where the CPUMs were shooting ~750fps.

Anyway, thanks to anyone who can tell me the BC for these pellets. (smile)

Hi guys. I see nsa have both cup base and flat base. Does it matter which base for the best accuracy? I've seen other brand of slug have most cup base. I have a 600mm .25 cal slug A liner. Just want to know if u should go for the flat base or cup base slugs.

So to start off I have my own opinions on what is the best budget scope. I usually go with the hawk vantage in either 4x fixed or 2x7. My purposes are general airgun hunting inside of a maximum of 50 yards but most often under 35. The purpose of this thread is to see if there have been any new developments in optics that might change my mind. I need a new scope for a 20 cal airforce talon p for my kid so a small scope like the vantage would be my preferred choice but any of your favorite scopes would be welcome. Let's cap the price at 200 dollars as this is my idea of budget. I found that at 130 dollars the vantage is durable enough even for a springer and clear enough for my purposes but looking forward to seeing if there is a cheaper alternative or clearer glass for a bit more. Well, the P-17 was delivered earlier today. All I have done is take it out of the package and look it over. I'm kind of impressed. For a $35 gun, it has decent heft to it. Not quite like holding a Glock, but it does have heft. The sights on this thing put the sights on my 1377 to shame. Again, for a $35 gun, these are pretty nice sights. I obviously haven't shot it yet, but the pull on the trigger seems very comfortable to me.

Now, I need to quit screwing around and get my trap set up in the garage. I can't do it for a couple of days. I had some surgery this afternoon that I didn't know I was having. I thought I was just going in for a preliminary appointment. Oops! So maybe later this week I'll get things together and get a few rounds downrange.

I'm new to PCP. I bought a Gauntlet 2 and got hooked. Now I'm looking at other rifles and FX have caught my eye. I like to tinker. And I like the idea of .25 and .35 as I have a farm with pests and game.

What I'm wondering is, how often are FX guys stuck fiddling with their guns instead of shooting them. I mean I get that the whole point is to fiddle with them, but after fiddling and taking good notes, can one return to previous settings or at least close enough?

And what's all this talk of constant POI shift?

I guess what I'm asking is can I grab the gun and shoot, or do I have to tinker first?
