I have always wondered why in our American FT version why we have the option of 14 different sized circles on our Field Targets when WFTF only has 3 I believe. I would like to see AFFTA follow the World FT rules on the number of sizes. It complicates setting up a match trying to stay in the AFFTA restraints on maximum distance from all shooting positions.
Most clubs couldn't afford to own all those sizes anyway and don't use many of them. Use the KISS principle as much as possible. We support out WFTF shooters and cheer them on as they challenge the world. It might help them if we at least use the same size KZ's over hear. Am I right or wrong or does anyone really care?

Selling my AEA HP SS Plus .25, its in great condition and I recently replaced the valve pin, so it has maybe about fifty shots on the new one. Trying to sell it as a package deal with the included T-Eagle 3-12x42 FFP IR scope with an awesome mil reticle. It a great little compact scope that compliments this airgun very nicely. Also included are the UTG Pro rings, great rings for the money, 2 magazines, fill probe and the soft padded case you see in the pictures. The shroud has carbon fiber vinyl wrap on it and can be easily peeled off if you don't like it. Has been holding air for months, with no leaks what so ever.

Fun little gun to shoot but I have not shot it much lately. Been shooting the .30 more.

Has anybody run across this? (Probably not lol). Friend of mine jammed some pellets in the barrel of her wildcat. I'm not sure but I think that when she tried dislodging the pellets, she drove the barrel back into the breech. It looks to me, like the pin that lines up and stops the barrel was bent over. I can move the pin up and down but can't pull it out. I can also pry the brass piece forward flush with the breech but did not try to go any further. I'm sure with some creativity I can get it all the way out. I'm almost embarrassed to ask, but can anyone guide me in the right direction to fix her gun?

Shooting results from 2 weeks ago. Wind was coming from 2 o'clock 6-8 miles per hour. 3 pellet types 4 and 5 shot groups. Lost count a couple times.
Shooting off bags. Really like the gun.

Utilizing a Vortek PG4-Steel HO spring kit, I hand cleaned, polished, and lubricated all internal components. The spring kit was disassembled, cut, and reassembled to allow the rifle to have the best combination of accuracy and power, while allowing the rifle to cock and lock smoothly and perfectly.

I am thinking about getting a used Prophet in .22 caliber. I would like to shoot pellets and slugs. I'm thinking that it is adjustable enough to tune for both. Are all the different models (barrels) capable of shooting both accurately (pellets under 50yds and slugs for 50-100yds)? I see that the Prophet in .22 has a 20" barrel and choked. The Prophet II in .22 has a 24" barrel and "lightly choked". Is there a Prophet Performance LR with a different barrel? Which barrel/model would you recommend for someone wanting to shoot pellets and slugs?

I am considering adding another PCP too my collection.
The leading contender is a Crown MKII. The other option is a 22 Maverick Compact that my wife abandoned after getting her M3. I have thought about converting it instead.
The question is what caliber.
I currently have a 22 slug gun and a 25 compact pellet shooter. For some reason and not necessarily a good one I am drawn to the 30. The other option is a 25 cal set up.
I am wanting to put together another slug shooter. Talk me into or out of the 30 cal. Cost of projectiles is not a factor. I am wanting considerations on ballistics down range accuracy etc.

First, yes, I know that there is a "projectile" section. But I don't see the same names as I see in this section...for what ever reason.
So...here goes, with this group.

I noticed a long time ago, that many pellets come in different diameters.
Like the H&N Baracuda, in .22 caliber, have three different diameters. 5.50", 5.51", and 5.52" diameters. Some others also offer small diameter differences.

Have any of you attempted an accuracy check (a locked down gun is the best for checking) with the same (no matter the brand) weight pellet, but with the small diameter differences ?
