I made an under ground range for my .22 long rifle and my airguns, it is 30 meters long from my heated shop so I can shoot all winter.I would of liked to go to 50 meters but I had to big over my water line to the house so that was out.
I made a target changer out of an old knife sharpener made two rollers on my lathe and it hold a full roll of wall paper enough to keep me busy all winter long.
The block of wood you see is for my crony and the lights are for that also. hope you like it .Steve!

I've just started PCP shooting and this is probably a dumb question, but what is the difference between benchrest and field target shooting? I did a quick browse through those two forums and they seem the same, just shooting at a target from a stationary position.

Purchased new by me, then I found out that I disliked the violent firing cycle. So, I bought a couple different springs from Jim at Air Rifle Headquarters. Still no good. Well, then I sent the barreled action across country to Steve H (NitroCrushr here) who installed the 22mm skirtless piston kit from Tony Leach. While Steve was installing and tuning the piston/sleeve kit, he also stoned/polished the trigger sear. I opted for a polished trigger blade externally.
Steve returned the finished action to me along with all of the original pieces (spring, piston, guide). Wow! What a transformation. The first spring gun (that wasn’t a 10m match airgun) that I could actually stack the pellets.
The original guts that were returned to me are included in this sale, along with the two JM springs (soft and firm) from ARH. All of these bits as shown are included in the sale.
I like spares for my airguns, so I purchased an additional synthetic piston seal/o-ring, delrin piston bearings and two additional fitted delrin/oring breech seals. Enough spares to last for a VERY long time.
Tony’s kit along with Steve’s installation & tuning completely transformed this spring gun. Cocking motion is soft, silent and silky smooth. Of course there is no buzz from the spring. It’s’ pellet is the JSB 8.44 Diabolos !

Other included extras are a Rowan Engineering, machined black/aluminum cocking lever grip, a spare yoke that attaches the barrel to the fore stock, and a spare Air Arms rubber bumper.

Hawke Sidewinder FFP 4-16x50SF scope with MIL illuminated reticle (17410) and SportsMatch one piece adjustable mount can be included, or not.

No flaws that I can discern on this TX. It’s mint.

AEA 30 cal 32 in barrel with everything it came with new in the box plus ammo. I have a 257 and a 308 so I just don’t shoot this rifle anymore. Actually shot very little but some small light scratches from use. One tin almost full JSB Exact 50.15 grain and 40 count FX Hybrids.

How do I repair this or is it feasable to stop the air . This is on an Omega 100 cuft tank . It was sitting in my shed for a year.

It seems that I can't find anything I like that are already made, guess I've to do it all myself. I like to make thing that is more useful than just cosmetic look. Not sure what to call it, but a cocking indicator sound best or maybe Bang's CockDicator, with power adj marking as well. Even though there's only 6 number but you can set those numbers in between as well etc 1.25, 1.5 or 1.75.

The indicator is painted Love Rocks, only color choice I have from my wife. But beside the color choice, it'll working as should. The resin adj and oem adj stuck together by tension/offset of where I set the holes at or you can perm glue it together. Now, you DON"T have to count the turns when adj power and NO need to cock again just to see if you're loaded or not.

Been a little while since I got my Brocock Sniper XR. The weather here has been bad and worse for a while. It's not too bad at all now. I finally reinstalled the pic rail and added new rings. This enabled me to get the eye relief that I needed. So much better now. This afternoon I shot over the chronograph for the first time also. Pretty pleased with the results.

Not bad. It's shooting right at 28 FPE with the 18 grain pellet. And the accuracy is phenomenal. I'm literally getting pellet after pellet in the same hole out to 50 yards. Absolutely love it!!! The only thing I have not done, that I would like to, is to make some trigger adjustments. Don't really have to, but would like to lighten it up just a bit if I can. But the trigger is really good as is. Should have bought one of these Brocock's a long while back. It's that good.....in my opinion.
I hope to actually do some serious hunting with it over the next couple of months. Happy New Year to all.

So I’ve been into PCPs of different brands, and calibers. About a month ago, I purchased the Cf carbine Texan in .50. At 65 yards I cannot group smaller than 6”. I’m using 3600psi top off and 3 shots between refills.

Has anyone had this problem? Is 65 yards too much for the .50 Texan?

About ready to step up the game and treat myself, looking at Crown Mkii in .22. Would love to swing for the continuum kit but will likely end up with a 500mm Synthetic.
Question is, is there another option in:
- traditional rifle format (not a fan of action or airtube near my ear)
- less than 40” not including moderator
- adjustable, I have my avenger tuned to go 22 to 35fpe with hammer spring only and I use it
- sub 7lb
- needs to shoot pellets (I have tons of cphp and jsb 18s)
- as well as slugs (I also have tons of Nielson 17-23gr)
- budget is up to about $1500 on the upper end

Not a hunter, I pest rats in urban (has to be quietish) backyard and paper punch 20-125 yd. When target shooting I usually use sticks and stool or a natural rest, sometimes prone if I’m feelin it.

I like the idea of the Crown for its versatility and the opportunity to try out some higher weight slugs for 100yd.
