Well I picked up one of those black friday deals at PA. Figured this thing would fill my needs perfectly. Received compressor #1, got it all set up, topped off a couple guns, all is good. At least till the next day, unit wont power up. Checked the fuse, checked the power cord, just doesn't turn on. Call PA, get a RMA and shipping label, & I send it on its way. Replacement gets here, bottom of box was opened, silicone oil was half full on the compressor. Starting to wonder about this thing, did I get a refurb replacement? Top off the silicone oil, fill crankcase up, top off a gun and crank oil looks dirty, but it works. I fill another gun and retire for the night. Today I shoot a little and go to replenish air in the gun and guess what, it wont power up. Call PA again, pack it all up and EC-3000 #2 is going back for a refund. Hope you guys have better luck than I.
So now I'll be looking for another compressor in the same price range other than the Hill unit, suggestions?

The greys have always raided my pecan trees by day until I found out that the Racoons were up to their dirty work at night. Well, the nuts were raining on my roof at 04:00 this morning and I knew that it was a "masked bandit" so what was I to do but to grab my lil Cricket! I creeped out of the back door, glassed him/it, flashed him/it and squeezed off the shot with a follow-up shot. When he/it hit the ground, it flopped a couple of times and for the sake of my safety, it took another one to the ole brain pan. This one makes the 4th one that I've taken out within the last month or so but this time it was my laser shooting Cricket in .22 caliber.

The greys are raiding my pecan trees by day and the Racoons are raiding my pecans trees by night until they're met by the Cricket in .22 caliber

I am thinking of buying a airgun moderator. I know about Donny FL and 0 db moderators. Are there any other airgun moderaters that I need to know about or look into? Like more a small quantity builder? Operations like the Silent Thunder Ordinance? The gun I am wanting to get is the FX Panthera 500 version.

What I got here is a WAR Flex 30cal.

SO !!!! I had it completely gone threw and had the parts that should of been inside it purchased and installed.
It now shoots fantastic!!!! It also is zeroed at 50 and it will stack shots. I've only shot it to 125 yard and it shot sub MOA. some groups better then others, But I also only shot the zan slugs out of her.
So all in all it's Now a great shooter. I'm asking $850 Plus shipping.

I have a good condition BAM B40 for sale. Had some galling problems in the main tube. Pulled apart and replaced the piston bearings with TX200, polished and lubed with moly. No problem now. Gun shoots great. $275 shipped. Loved CPHP. Scope and rings not included.

My new Sniper XR arrived on Wednesday! Yesterday I was able to get a scope mounted and try her out. I did nothing but clean the bore, mount a scope, grab some pellets and start shooting. I am really kinda blown away with the rifle in general. To me it has a great stock, is light weight, compact and very accurate. Did I say very accurate? It is the most accurate pcp that I own now. I know it's been around a while and "old news" to many. But it's a different ball game for me.
I ended up taking the pic rail off and just mounted a scope and rings that I had on hand to the dove tail. I don't have any rings not already in use for the pic rail at the moment. I plan on replacing the pic rail and mounting a different scope on it later....but this will do fine for now. It got me shooting.
The trigger, as set from the factory, is a bit heavy for my preference. I will eventually make adjustments to that and lighten it up a bit. But it is still very crisp and predictable.
No chrony work or pellet testing yet either. I just grabbed a tin of JSB 18 grains and began shooting. I have a lot of them on hand because the two other rifles I shoot regularly really like them. The Brocock does too.
I am definitely a Brocock Bro now !





I shot many groups yesterday and the consistent accuracy is a blast! I am no competition bench rest shooter. But the groups I was getting is very exciting to me. I am 100% sure they can be tighter once I adjust the trigger a bit.

I purchased new a FX Impact M3 in Fall of 2021. Model is 25cal with 600mm barrel. The first regulator was originally set at 150 to 155, but after 8 months began to fluctuate from 130 to 170. The standard deviation went from 8 to 10 fps to 30 to 40fps. The rifle looks like new and kept in the case in perfect conditions. I have only shot 3 or 4 tins. After sending back to dealer , I have been told both regulators were replaced and also the first regulator guage replaced as well. The first regulator was now however set wide open, so it mirrors the tank guage pressure. This was recommended to avoid the many problems associated with this gun's 2 regulator system. The second regulator is set at approximately 115. Has any one else had this issue and was the solution to open up the first regulator and shoot and operate the Impact M3 in this manner?

I’m in the city, don’t see them much to know anything. And is there anything to worry about or precautions to take?

I'm in the market for another .177. The Huntsman classic in .177 I had I gave to my sister as a wedding present. I do have a Leshiy classic .177 but I found it clumsy to reload in the dark while pigeon blasting. I need it to have at least 18-20 ft-lbs, magazine for quick follow up shots and easier to reload in the dark, need it to be some what short (under 36 inches), back yard quite (don't want something that sounds like a .22 rim-fire going off), good shot count so a reg is a plus, mid-cocking, don't want semi-auto, and I don't really want a bullpup but if that's the best option, so be it. I want to mainly shoot pellets but slugs would be a plus.

I've been thinking of several options I could do.
Option 1:
- I was thinking of purchasing a 500mm Maverick .177 barrel kit from Utah but I've read mix reviews on FX's .177 barrels. Not sure if I want to take a gamble. Another concern is I'm not sure if the Maverick will like the .177 barrel.

Option 2:
- The FX .177 Dream Tact Compact w/ bottle might be the perfect choice. I just need to know if the Dream Tact will give me 18-20 ft-lbs. I believe it should. Again I noticed most people aren't raving about the .177 barrel.

Option 3:
- AGT Vixen .177 is another choice. I would choose the standard version but the long version would be nice since it seems it can shot slugs really well; according to videos made by Cedric. I'm not to sure about the ergonomics with that tank in the rear. Reminds me of a Texan.

Option 4:
- AOA has the Brocock Sniper XR .177. I do have a .22 Brocock Sniper XR and its a really sweet shooter. Just want something different but not ruling it out.

Option 5:
- Uragan Compact .177. I do have a .25 Uragan and it's a sweet shooter. If the Compact version shots just like my .25, I know I'll like it. I just want this to be my last option since I already have Uragan and it's a bullpup.

I have thought about the Revere .177 but I do want to try other brands. Any other options I haven't thought of, let me know.

But weight, the truth is I can not really afford it anyhow, plus there are plenty of scopes I know of that are great for less than $300. I admit I buy used ones a lot, why is because then I can afford the $547 scope I never heard of, but wait,I ain't getting it anyhow because I would rather have a used scope that is way lighter,of known quality and I can resell for what I paid for it.....just saying.

Got notified of a furry friend, he started eating the bird feed from my jar, but for some reason he stopped and started sniffing around and then jumped up to the bird feeder (same feed). Any ideas why? He may have been away of my presence but why go up to the feeder?

I ended up stalking him up a tree, onto a branch where I put a 22 hades into his head and popped his eyeball, he swung and was hanging by one leg. I walked around to get a better angle to put another one into him but he fell and did the dance. Put 1 more into him upper body, still dancing. Put another into his head, stopped dancing (this makes me question what is really going on after the first brain shot because they always stop dancing after the second brain shot coupe de grace)

Been on conference calls and teams calls all day. No time for a walk. We finally got a break 20 minutes ago.

We’re walking through the woods, and Penny looks up and starts running which is her signal that she’s found a squirrel. She trees it. I could see where the squirrels hole was in the , it was trying to get to. So I stood on that side of the tree.

I caught a glimpse of tail, so I backed up until I could see more. Candidly, I had no shot at the vitals. So I knocked him out of the tree by shooting him in the rear. Penny was on him when he hit the ground. End of story.

The 25 knocked him right out of the tree. I 17 would have done nothing but made him hug the tree closer.

I was very impressed, and at 5 pounds dripping wet it is a pleasure to carry.

Maybe they have a new valve design? That is exciting to me as FX have used the same design for many years now.

Good afternoon, I've got an AF Condor SS that I purchased from PA about 4yrs ago, with a high flow tank that I purchased from Talon tunes. I've had this gun just sitting around for about 2.5yrs. The tank has developed a slow leak, that I can hear and if I place my ear up to it, I can only hear it directly from the gauge. I already tried Teflon tape on the threads, but that didn't work. Anyone have any ideas, or do I have to send it back to Tony or AF for repairs?
