so I decided to shrink wrap tank and man was it a pain. Got it all done and decided to do barrel also. Thanks again for info brawler1588 !!!

So first of all…round of applause to Weihrauch. The finish on their rifles could go through a hurricane and be fine I think. I had to use about 8 coats of Kleanstrip to remove some of the finish, not even all of it. I had to go in with 60 grit and 150 grit sandpaper to remove a good chunk of it, but as you can see there is still some finish left. The end near the buttstock is particularly annoying because it just won’t come off no matter what I do.

Thoughts? How should I remove the rest of it or should I just leave it and see how the new stain I bought blends in? It could look like an art piece I guess…

I was inspired by @seangabrell who refinished his LGU. I chose a different color, mine will be carbon grey. Will look cool I think. I bought this HW77K for a very cheap price…total cost with parts put me at $245. Paint puts me at $265.

After months of research, several straight days and evenings reading past threads I finally made my choice.

Hello Airgunners, greetings from Peru!!! .. This is my first post in AN... Maybe you can help me to have the right understanding to get the correct setting when I'm going to the highlands with my Rifle.
Normally I shot at sea level up to 1500ft , and my Rifle (a Cricket Tactical 2 Cal .22) works pretty well and accurate with a constant 940fps per shot.
When I go to the highlands for trout fishing I reach altitudes of 9000ft to 11000ft . Sometimes I bring my rifle with me, but I noticed that the accuracy of my shots up there change at all. My shots seems to have a flatter trajectory as the one they have at lower altitudes. Therefore, I try to fix my shots but without having all the factors which I should consider and the resources/tools that I have at home.
Does someone have tips that I have to consider when going to highlands?? What does really happen with the FPS and ballistic behaviour of the pellets? (btw I only use JSB 18.13gr and 25,39gr)

This R&D done @ 2 years ago to the month & originally shared on the GTA forum.
Pending caliber of slug, depth & diameter of HP cavity a different size Phillips or Pozi-drive tip will give the best results.
* The tips used in doing this were thinned slightly to give cleaner scoring lines, tho not required pending tip used.

Thought the AGN membership may find this of interest if a pester and using less costly NSA etc slugs.

I’m 61, needed reading glasses for about 10 years and now I have a distance prescription as well. Up close I can’t read without my glasses, distance I’m ok but I can’t see real clear. I just bought an Impact M3 in .22 and I need a scope for it. I plan on plinking and target shooting, no hunting. Even some shooting competition in the future would be fun even if I finish last, lol. What are some scopes I should look at?

I have a really nice Zbroia Kozak FC 550/290 power tuned by GA. It is currently set up shooting 15.89 JSB Hades at 950. Target below is 5 shots from prone off a bipod at 30 yds. If you look at the GA website, it has lots of room for power. It’s very accurate, quiet and well built. The gun does have significant marks on the fill port cover. Looks like someone used pliers on it. Not too bad. You can see them in the pictures. Stock has been modified so you can adjust the hammer spring without removing it from the stock. Gun will be shipped in its original box with all accessories included. 2 mags, fill probe and such. $775 plus shipping. I live in WA State. Open to trades. Always interested in what people have. I have a few .22 pcps coming back to me from my PCP Dr. In Texas so this one needs to go.

This is a Beutiful walnut AA400 extra fac in 177. I had Motorhead rebuild it with a Huma regulator, and set it up for silhouette. I think he set it at 890 FPS with 10 grain JSB. Pretty quiet with factory shrouded barrel. Smashes those rams at 40 yards.
It now has standard fill port, but I will include the AA fill fitting, also has match trigger.
I have too many rifles, so I have to thin down the herd. 795.00 plus actual shipping unless you want to meet in Central PA. Probably 50-75 for shipping/insurance? I prefer USPS MO, or Paypal FF.
