In every video I've seen, the valve has only 4 lines.

What's the best springer for pests at 50yards? Probably spent 12hrs over the past couple days researching PCP's and just seems like I'm gonna dump 1k before I even get going. Probably spent 4 hrs researching springers today and I'm so lost in the sauce. One minute I was looking at Hatsan 135 QE Vortex in .25/.30, Then various Gamo's in .22, and almost pulled the trigger on a Beeman R9 but then starting reconsidering cause we do have some racoons and plenty of armadillos that destroy my 2 arces.

Hellow everyone! Need some help with fx panthera and how to degas the riffle after I've shot it around 6 times and the air still doesn't want to flow out of the plenum? Don't want to keep shooting it it's under 90. Don't want to damege valve pin again.

Well my last thread got locked because member chose to go of the rail with political commenets.

I think that that gun will shoot at about full power when new if it has a good cleaning and lube . I had sent it back to Beeman once that they installed a new power sping. I have a perfect new AGT Vulcan in .30 cal. Rifle was purchased new by me and fired once by me. Rifle is flawless. Rifle comes with all original goodies inluding booklet, plus Optisan EVX 6-24x56i scope, mount, UTG 360 bipod, rugged vented hardcase, and 399ct AVS .3063 61gr slugs tested and ideal for this rifle by the owner of AVS. Slugs have been washed in ultrasonic cleaner, dried, and lightly oiled. Container says 100ct on it but that was from on of the original AVS boxes to identify the slugs.

I need to use a Steyr lg110 (most 10m guns) tool to loosen the base cap.
It has 3 holes for a tool with 3 prongs to fit into to unscrew the air cylinder base, the part that screws into the gun.

I was given an old air gun. The clamp that holds the pump handle is broken. There are no labels or markings on the gun to indicate the make/model. Can anyone help me find this part?

Yesterday I was getting ready for my weekly ground squirrel hunt, making sure my Maverick Compact .22 was dialed in. I thought the breech o-ring is about to go, sure as heck,,,10 shots later it let go. Now I've got Months of pellets through it as in thousands so it's not unexpected. I just thought it was interesting that I had that premonition. Now, it I could just get it to work on a serious lottery ticket.

Ordered a HW97k last year. Finally showed up. Guess what I am doing tomorrow.

Quick update - decided to verify accuracy and shoot a group since it hasn’t been getting use in some time and discovered that it appears my reg is creeping (1st shot was really low fps) and now seems to not group as well as it had previously.
I was getting about 2” groups at 35yds where as before I would get 1/2-3/4”…
So as it sits it has issues and will need some TLC to sort it out.
Still a very nice rifle but reduced price due to current issues

I purchased this rifle used from Utah airguns. It had a pellet clipping issue when I received it which i resolved some time ago by opening up the baffles in the factory shroud and also realized that the shroud was over-tightened which was another contributing factor to the clipping issue..
She prefers JSB 13.43s with the current tune and slings them out at 875-880fps.
One great traditional style hunting rifle that’s taken its fair share of squirrels in the past.
No leaks, a few small blemishes from normal use. Comes with one mag and the fill probe, scope not included in sale.

Only parting with it because I’ve been bitten by the power and speed bug and have a few too many rifles which I’ll soon be selling as well.

The wood stock has some safe bumps on it but it’s a hunter and functions flawlessly so it shouldn’t matter if you are looking for a precision shooting tool. Includes 2 mags, spare o-rings, manual, adjustment pins and test targets.

I was checking out the classified and say someone was accepting USPS Money Orders and certainly if you know the person and trust them there is no problem. With that said I know for a fact that USPS Money Orders can be fraudulent. I worked in the financial industry before retirement and dealt with fraud against customers and against the company. Basically if it is printed it can be copied, I’ve seen 1 IRS check that was fraudulent. If you accept one once you know it has been cleared and is no longer negotiable make sure you shred it.

I was on my range blasting away with two favorites. A HW77k and a HW97kt both in .25 cal. These two guns are the best, really enjoyable as well as reliable. Neither has a spring kit yet, but act as though they do. When hitting steel they let you know with a solid ring. Another bonus is so easy to watch the shot. This pair is hard to put down, never get enough. Prefect on my range 25 yd. to 45 yds.
Do many of you shoot the .25 cal. springer?
Went to AGS to buy paper targets, I”m out and so are they.
I did check out the new Air Arms Laminate and Black Stain. I liked the black stain. It changed in colour from black to purple, looked really cool. I was eye balling another Pro Sport which I don’t need, it sold about 2 hours before I got there. Problem solved. Someone got a great deal and gun.

I'm kicking around the idea of getting a .25 capable of around 50fpe or around 830fps with the king heavies. Why you may ask? Similar trajectory to what I've been shooting for years with .22s in the 28-30fpe range but much better BC for windy days compared to my 16gr JSBs. Probably a bullpup as I'd want it under 36". Curious what you guys would recommend? Oh nothing FX as I don't feel like messing with harmonic tuning or poi changes. Only reason I'm asking is I haven't had a .25 in years. Only one I had that I really enjoyed was one of the first .25 Taipan Veteran Standards in the states. I do wish I could get that one back. But I'm not sure it's really capable of that power with a decent shot count? Anyways just something I'm kicking around to be easier to shoot in the wind compared to my .22 without going to slugs. Oh and budget around 1k maybe.

I understand that HFT division requires no more than 16x magnification, and the use of hold-over guesstimates instead of dialing turrets.

Question - is it legal (and best practice) to zoom into the target at greater magnification (say 32x) to set your parallax, then zoom back down to 16x before shooting?
