Picked up a 35L from the classifieds this week. It been up there for months now and I've been drooling over it ever since, hoping someone else would grab it before my willpower gave out. The seller claims it was a 1973 release but the HW database says 1975 so I'm not really positive when it was made other than early to mid 70s. That being said, I am a bit confused by something. The barrel also says "Made in Germany" as opposed to "Made in West Germany" so I am assuming the barrel had been replaced at some point more recently? Any thoughts there?

What I find very cool about this gun is that it has the German Feimark on the barrel which, according to a Tom Gaylord publication, would mean this gun was originally built for the German sub 7.5J/5.5ftlb market. It would also mean that if it still has the original piston is slightly short stroked compared to most export 35s to reduce power. Based on the shot cycle and the 6.2fpe I'm getting from my chrono numbers, I'd say its probably original inside with the exception of the updated seals and spring. Now of course this all assuming the barrel stamp to be correct which I'm thinking its probably not unless I'm missing something. Anyway, here are some pictures. I received my order of new 18gr pellets and will now run several shooting test to compare all three Brands. I will test each pellet at 10-meters and then at 25-yards and shoot them straight out of the Tin. After zeroing the scope on a separate target and filling the rifle to 3,000psi, I will shoot eight (8) times at my “Pellet Comparison Second Target” paper target. I will repeat this procedure for every test at both 10-Meters and 25-Yards. The three “open” rings are 1/4", ½" and 3/4" and the Black Dot Bull is 1/8".

The three pellets/brands are:
1) JSB Jumbo Heavy, .22 cal 18.13gr
2) H&N Baracuda 18, .22 cal 18.13gr
3) JTS Dead Center Precision, .22 cal 18.13gr

Below are the results for the 10-Meter Test and I will post the 25-Yard Test results later. As you can see, the JTS is just a hair better in the grouping. It will be interesting to see the 25-yard results.

Well last time I shot my beautiful paradigm was 6 weeks ago (September 2nd to be exact)... I had just 35 minutes today to pack the jeep up, drive down to the range on the property , setup and get a handful of groups in.

I'll preface this whole thing with.... this next set of pictures, "This is what a guy looks like who's focused on driving his ferrari"



Needless to say the quickly shot 9 shot groups at 100 yards can speak for themselves. Aside from one shot pulled all 3 were moa or less at 100 with a full magazine dumped on each one. This little shooting session reminded me why the American Air Arms Evol is top teir. The trigger is superb. The ergonomics are fantastic. The barrel is rugged and sturdy. All of it working in complete unison to get the job done.

I’m putting my GK1 .25 up for sale. I know it’s hard to get these and that’s why I’m asking $1250 for it. I’ll include the shipping for free at that price.

What is your "Go-to" rifle? The one just come to "first in your mind" in like survival situation, not second guessing/overthinking. And of course, no powder burner.
1st: RWS Diana 48 in .22 simple, affordable than AA, HW and no need for support equipment: pump, compressor, tank, scope, etc. Just rifle and some tins of pellets.

This non regulated Wolverine .30 Cal is powerful, gives a lot of shots per fill and it is as accurate as you can be.

Everything I could expect from a hunting rifle.

It's time this gun was made available to the public ..... (albeit 18 lbs w/o scope).

There's something terribly wrong with my setup. Impact M3 22 cal. I was shooting Diablo Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13 grains and accuracy was decent. I was using what FX gave me: Line 4, Macro Wheel 16, Micro wheel 2.6, 1st Regulator 150, 2nd regulator 87 (or you could say 90).

Now, I switched to FX Pellets 25.4 grains, the only thing (this YouTube guy said) was to change the 2nd regulator to 95. Did that, but now the accuracy is terrible.

What did I do wrong? What else do I need to change? I'm still new to tuning, so I'm not sure what needs to change.

Something others rave about but you don't get the hype.

For me personally it was the Daystate AlphaWolf. Not because it's a bad gun, although I've heard some negative stories....but for me it was just souless and quite boring. Cocking had no feeling, trigger had no feeling. Everything was too easy. Yes, that did result in a very accurate rifle, but it took the fun out of it.

I am trying to find a used 10M air rifle possibly a walther or FWB. I cant PM anyone here on the classified for some reason. Any help would be appreciated.

Just purchased this brand new in July 2023 from Tristan from Atlas Airguns. Perfect in every way, like brand new, It might have 2 tins of pellets shot through it and then it went in the safe.
