PCP Rifle  SOLD Veradium Air Artemis M16A .25 REDUCED

Looking to sell or trade my new Artemis M16A in 25 cal. Gun was tuned by Brian a Veradium air. He polished up the cocking lever and trigger very nice. Not sure what all else he did but this gun shoots sweet. Currently tuned shooting 26 grain JSB at 890 at 3/4" at 50 yards. Probably can do better but its been windy here and havent got to shoot on a calm day. Regulator is externally adjustable but I havent changed the tune from Brian. He did say he shot 25 grain NSA slugs very well. I like bullpups so selling for $375 or trade for a 25 or 30 bullpup. I can pay cash the difference if your trade is worth more. Having trouble loading pictures so I can text them to you if interested. I take paypal FF or pay the fees. Please message here if interested. Thanks for looking. Gun comes with the Donny FL adapter 1/2-20. OPEN TO OFFERS. Will trade for scope of same value or GX battery powered compressor.

What's better? Carbon fiber tank or portable compressor?

Hey all. I'm wanting to hear thoughts and ideas. I currently have a yong Heng compressor and 9 liter carbon fiber tank. I had a tuxing portable compressor a couple years ago but it did not hold up at all. I am getting into big bores more and more and have realized I need to up my air "game" if I want any extended shooting sessions. The tank is nice but only allows around 30 shots. Give or take. I can get another tank and lug it around as well or buy a portable compressor and top the guns off as needed during extended shooting sessions. Please let me know how you address this issue. Thanks in advance.

When a Routine Wipe down is an Occasion...

When it's a Theoben SLR 88 Imperator FT .177....in retirement...we should all have it so good! Living in air conditioned comfort with oil rub downs now and again. I plane to put it on static display when our addition is completed, along with some other choice pieces...wife said I could...until than it remains in the case on the "top shelf"...waste of a good springer I guess but needs to be preserved for future generations...Old world workmenship by masters of their craft is a hard thing to come by these days...and this Imperator fits that discription perfectly...I had a pretty bad stroke just a few days after receiving this gun...ok now a year later...but my wife has instructions as to it's future if something happens to me. Our slab has been poured for the addition so hopefully it will be on the wall by summer...I hope.

Barrels  SOLD 28 inch, .22, 3groove, TJ Barrel

As the title states...

PXL_20230328_170712229.jpg

0.561 outer diameter

Machined with 1/2x20 threads at muzzle and M14 threads on the other end so it will drop into a Taipan Veteran.

Full disclosure is that this needs to be considered a project (depending on expectations), either for a Veteran or having the ends lopped off and machined for something else.

Here was my experience with it....https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/dont-feel-left-out.1243430/post-1413680

I never tried heavy slugs.

If interested, shoot me a PM and I can give more history on the barrel.

$150 shipped to Continental US. Paypal F&F.

FX Impact Sniper .22 - Recommended Pellets/Tune

Rank newbie here. Lifelong (firearms) shooter and handloader, but haven't shot an airgun since I was a kid. Have an FX Impact M3 Sniper in .22 inbound, with expected delivery in a few days.

I ordered several tins of JSB Redesigned Monster Pellets (25.39 gr) along with the rifle. Anyone have any tuning suggestions (for best accuracy) for those pellets with that rifle?

Any other .22 pellets or slugs, with tune configs, that anyone might recommend (again, with best accuracy in mind)?

TIA. Looking forward to this next adventure in the shooting arts!

WH 97 or try a PCP?

Hi all, long time GTA member been out of the game for a few years. Just found this forum and really digging the topics and interactions so thought I would post over here.
I've had an RWS Meisterschutze Model 34 Pro Compact in .177 for some time and is my nicest air gun. I have a few other Crossman/Gamo referbs I picked up cheap for plinking and letting friends use. Been some time since I got anything new and have always wanted an underlever either a Air Arms TX200 or HW 97. I was then thinking about maybe trying a PCP as something a little quieter would be nice for backyard. I'm not looking for a super power PCP, just looking for something with good consistency (I'm guessing regulated) that I can use off-bench or off-hand.
I understand there is a greater cost of getting into PCP, but if the benefits outweigh the added initial investment, I'm good with that. Not like there are any cheap hobbies anyway.
But man, those underlevers sure look good and they are pretty much grab-n-go. I imagine the PCP always has some setup before you can use.

If I go PCP do any of ya'll use a hand pump? Or are you getting tanks filled at a local shop?

First time sorting a tin....wow

So having been dropped into the NAC last week , I decided I will sort my pellets for this competition. I am absolutely in awe how big a variance there is in weights. At the end of one tin the lightest pellet was 33.3 the heaviest was 34.8 , thats 1.5 grains!!!!! That is a big difference in my opinion, itching to see if the JTS pellets come out in different weights I want to shoot, have heard better things than what I am seeing here with the two weights theyve released thus far.

Picture was taken before I finished. These are .25 33.95 MK2

Resized_20230327_192822.jpeg

I got my Western Airguns Sidewinder back from repair service.

So, after a horrendous start with the Sidewinder, I had to send it back to AOA due to a faulty CF Bottle/ O-ring, it came back today and I had time to shoot 3 mags.
The thing is accurate and powerful, it shoots .30 Cal 44.7gr JSB pellets at 930FPS with the reg at slightly less than 150 bar. The spread is less than an inch at 50 yards and the mag cycles with no issue. The only cons I see so far is that the gun is really loud, too loud for backyard plinking, and the stock baffle/shroud is proprietary, I have a 0db 160 suppressor and it doesn't fit the barrel, also I don't like the lack of real estate to attach my red dot, 5x magnifier and a Dbal D2 and flashlight. The mag costs $150 apiece and is a total pain in the ass to insert. The gun shoots well, but it doesn't have the premium feel as an FX gun can have.

Body shots on bandits?

Anyone take vital shots on coons? What would be a safe power level to drop one at about 40 yards? Or are they pretty much head shot only.

I'm working with a 30-35 fpe 22, or I have a 38 fpe 25 and a 55 fpe 25 I can use. Obviously, in this case, I'm thinking the bigger 25.

Would this be ethical? I'm not worried about a run off, it'll be one in a hand cuff trap. Wanting to save the pelt for my buddy and possibly recover the skull hence no head shot.

Need opinions for my next PCP (long winded)

Hello everyone,

I have owned PCP for a few years and I currently own four of them, I'll list them, so you know what I'm dealing with for this thread.

1) A big bore 9mm...I don't recall the make, but I believe it's Korean.
2) Career 707 II .22
3) PRod in .22 I thought it was in .25, but saw that it was never offered in a .25
4) AV in .25...this is the rifle version.

I am looking to buy a hunting only PCP and was leaning towards a .25 due to FTE and that it can be backyard friendly. I've been looking at this forum and the longer I take in my research, the more questions than answers, so I thought I'd ask the experts on this forum.

I really thought that I decided on an Air Force Talon P. I'll go over the Pros/Cons that I've come up with for this pistol.

Pro's
1) Light
2) Compact
3) Parts/service is plus since it's made in TX
4) Simplistic compared to other PCP
5) Cost vs performance
6) Power/performance

Con's
1) Single shot (not sure if that's a real concern, other than trying to load pistol in the dark)
2) Dovetail as I prefer picatinny rails
3) Shot count (this isn't my concern, just what I've been reading)

My biggest concern for the AF Talon P is that this PCP will only be used for hunting, and mostly night hunting. I own a Bering Optics thermal and am considering buying a SightMark Wraith mini or PARD N008S LRF. Does anyone have experience with trying to load the TalonP in the dark, since it's a single shot PCP? I'm not sure if I'm reading into things, or trying to find a reason not to buy the AF TalonP. I am concerned that it may be difficult to single load the TalonP in complete dark conditions.

I am also considering a bullpup PCP as well. I'd prefer a synthetic stock, as I don't want idiot marks on wood. I would say my max budget would be that I'd like to stay around $1,000.00, but I'm willing to spend more if you can give me valid reasons to up my budget. I am pretty open to brands, but I'm not going to want to tinker with the PCP, so I'd like to get one ready to go.

Some requirements
1) Must be simple to work on-as I am never going to be a PCP expert and I'm a PB guy at heart
2) I'd like to keep the PCP around 6lbs with just the bare bullpup
3) Enough power to take down Fox,Coyote with head shot...this is why I was leaning towards .25
4) Moderator ready, so I can quiet it down

The bullpups on my short list are:

1) Taipan Veteran-I like the compact--not sure about weight and wood
2) Stoeger XM1 Bullshark-I like 5yr warranty and since it's in USA, "easier" to get than P35
3) P35, minus the customs since it's shipped via Kral
4) AV Avenger bullpup-weight is more and looks bulky compared to other options
5) Edgun Lelya 2.
6) Kral Empire XS

I'm looking forward to everyone's suggestions.

Gun I don’t regret but……

Have you ever bought a gun that seemed just so right for you? Then you spend several months with it and you come to appreciate what it is and does? Then you take it out to the field and discover that despite all of its redeeming qualities it just does not work for you? You love the way the gun shoots, the accuracy has been very very good and it has not given you one single headache?

This is the position I find myself in with my Crown MKII 600mm in .25. The gun is perfect in every aspect except it just doesn’t fit my style of air gunning. I really thought I was going to find this a great gun. Turns out I do not like and do not want to deal with the length. It is just too much out in the field. After two feed lot shoots and two trips out for ground squirrels, on the third run for GS’s, I looked at the case in my back seat and said no, you ain’t leaving the truck today. It got passed over for my two bull pups.

The only good news to come out of this is that the Crown convinced me that I would not be dropping any money on a Panthera. Once again, despite all the wonderful attributes, I cannot get past the length.

Anyone else ever had something like this happen? Something that just focuses your attention to what you really want for your style of air gunning?
