Got another great gun that should go pretty quick. Kalibrgun Cricket II 45 in .22cal. Gun is in overall great shape, nothing worse than general wear from normal use (Pic Rail and grips). I'd rate it an 8 out of 10 in appearance. Shooting performance is awesome! This gun is a Laser with 18g JSB's and Hades shooting well over 900fps with groups at 30yds nearly hole in hole. But as with almost every bone stock Cricket with a 450mm CZ Barrel, that's where the performance stops. The gun does not like any pellet over 18g and will not shoot slugs. So fair warning, this is a PELLET ONLY GUN. It's whisper quiet and definitely the most BackYard Friendly PCP Air Rifle I've ever shot. Awesome "Plinker" with an amazing shot count. Great gun for small pesting, Back yard Plinking, or starter gun for your kid. Gun comes with Six (6) 14 round magazines (3 new & 3 well used), a 420cc 300bar CF bottle (gun fills to 300bar), new Huma-Air Regulator installed set at 115 bar, Custom Soft Ambidextrous Cheek Rest, and a Kalibrgun Cricket II Buttstock Monopod. Compact Hardcase is also included.

Got the .22 Shorty from Kraz Cool last night. I put this Leupold pistol scope on it for now, but I am going to go with a dot or open sights. I just wanted to get an idea on accuracy. Shot 400 pellets today. 25 yards. No wind, but it was raining. JST 21.53 Top 4 groups tethered at 4500 psi. Top left group 9 shots at 770 , top right 10 shots at 740, second row down left, 9 shots at 820, right 10 shots at 820. The bottom left group had 18 shots with 4900 psi fill starting at 865, and the last shot was 830 & had 2500 psi left in the gun. Bottom right, same thing, but as fast as I could get on target rapidly. I did have clipping with my Impulse .22 with five sections, but this Fx Impact Donnie .25 cal was fine. I was disappointed that my 3d printed from TorqueMaster would not fit due to the muzzle being so close to the front of the air tube. The Shorty Performed great. Been budgeting and researching for a micro-compact precision plinker and occasional small game hunter.

I have a FX boss (CF bottle version) and love its build quality, precision, and simplicity but under 50yd it is too much gun. So I want that level of quality and simplicity.

Here is a tip that I read about someplace that works so I will pass it on . Use a portable fan in conjunction with your compressor to keep it cool while filling . While topping off a bottle with a cheap compressor I watched the temp quickly rise to 50 and climbing . I put the portable fan on it and the temp quickly dropped to 42-43 and stayed there until I decided to shut it down .

Decided to try something new. The Raw just lost the "best trigger title " . Just started tuning the Alpha. Started with jsb 18.1 . Sweetspot is 940 fps top left target @ 70 yds. Next up will be 25.4 rdn. Shout out to Centercut for info on factory mode and set reg 5 bar above minimum pressure to achieve desired speed. Long day and tons of shooting. Wolf has the best trigger I have shot. Stay tuned.

getting my stuff together and got a basic electric pump. 4500 max and only runs 25 min and fill 1 litter recomended.... so what is the best options for inexpensive buddy bottles? and ...how many times will fill....say an avenger. how many fills do you get from your 1 litter bottle? still learning and trying to figure everything out, and considering options. thanks guys for all your awesome advice, knowledge and skills!

The other day I was just mentioning about some plastic or teflon pallet/slug. But I was thinking if such can be made in precision with lead core for weight it may serve a good purpose, in lesser air pressure one might achieve higher velocity. Teflon once locked into the rifling might glide smoother, with no carbon dust emission for subsequent shots, airgun has no firepower so heat may not be an issue. Come to think of ur barrel might even last forever!

First off, from Skout themselves(Mainly Luke, as he designed and built them), are new, beefy, feel the power…..COCKING HANDLES!!

According to Luke, only colors black, red, blue and gold will be available at this time.
Really makes a difference especially for the competitive shooter. It’s hard to explain but those of you that have upgraded to beefier cocking handles on your competitive rigs, you all know what I’m trying to put down. Anyway, Great Job, Luke!

The Skout Epoch magazines, have got to be one of the best out there in the pcp multi shot industry. Their mags are equal to the impact in shot carry amount(or close to it) but better in build as it’s all thick metal, and a magnetized lid at three points, as well as bring magnetized in attachment to the chassis. It’s as if the magazine throws itself out of your hands and into the mag slot, perfectly aligned and seated. And when your mag is empty, you simply pull it out with no clip or lever to pull or press over. They truly are a well engineered design.

But what it lacks that the impact has, is a pellet stop, something to let you know hey, you’re out of ammo. I put Elis onto this task, and like everything I’ve ever thrown at him, it’s always been a piece of cake for him. Truly a skilled individual. What he did was recreate the center cores, the spinning carriers, to work just like the impact mags-

They worked flawlessly as I’ve shot close to 1200 rounds thru my epoch, all using his inserts:
But wait! What’s that off to the right in the second magazine pic, you ask? You impact owners that remember Elis’s speed loaders? Well, he’s made them for the epoch mags, and they, too, work perfectly without one hitch. Makes reloading a factory mag lightning fast. And on these, he uses magnets at three points not only to secure the lids to them, but to attach onto the factory’s three point magazine magnets so the chances of spill out are not even close. Which is better for 44 grain JSBs? I heard the 1:40 was made specifically for 44 grain JSBs.

Drove to the Post Office in town. Walked out with a long heavy box. It was my first stop of a 7 hour journey. Drove me crazy to have it behind me all day, whispering to me. Got home. After unpacking and sit down with a coffee, I finally check it out.
I give my rifles a name and this one is “Lucy” same as Albert King’s guitar. It’s a HW90 .177 cal. #3. I can’t wait to play with the pump and gauge on this one. Last nite I read an article on Weihrauch’s site about the 90 testing down to 10 bar.
The 90’s are growing on me like an infection. I actually went to buy a .22 cal. but they were sold out, so I got the sister .177. Definitely a good candidate for a custom stock.
