Altaros MOA Booster Periscopic device for Airgun ELR shooting 500-1500 yards

We would like to introduce our new product, which you could see in many videos from previous years and which allows us to aim and shoot accurately with airgun even above 1000 yards.
This device is the Altaros MOA Booster Periscopic device, that can be characterized by the following characteristics:

- Increase the maximum aiming distance several times by adding 0-120 mRad (412 MOA) to your riflescope elevation adj. range.
- The default setting of 30mRad, it will prolong the aiming range almost twice.
- The device can be easily mounted on any standard rifle scope with an outer diameter from 40 to 62mm (reducers are produced according to the required size).
- The add elevation change occurs immediately after the MOA Booster is inserted and there is no change in the point of impact when removed from the rifle scope.
- MOA Booster doesn't change the position of the rifle scope to the shooter so there is no need to change the cheekpiece position as is the case with adjustable mounts
- A spirit level is included for precise positioning on the riflescope to keep maximum accuracy.

Other  Akela vs. P35 vs. Bullboss

I have space and budget for a 'budget' bullpup.

Budget because it is my first bullpup, I want to first see if I like the concept, then I will possibly buy a higher end rifle.
We are also quite limited on choice over here in South Africa compared to Europe and the USA.
I am also not able to walk into a store to look and feel, I need to buy online.

I spent a lot of time reading forums, watching reviews, but am still not sure.

They are all similar in price, power and functionality - I am looking at .22.

Any personal experience of why one over the other, or rather why not one of these?
(My preference with the limited knowledge I have is Akela, then P35, then Bullboss).

Daystate  Uhh ooo did I make a mistake? Regulated vs non

Just ordered a Daystate huntsman Monday. Thought it was a great deal because it was a 25 and I have read here that the 25s were low powered and less resale. The real reason for the low price was this was an unregulated model. This is just for cellar and open window to backyard gun.
However I don’t want to go backwards in technology. Think I gotta cancel and choose again.

AEA Pellets and Speed versus JSB, etc.

Im curious now that these have been out if there is a consensus on good target speed. Traditional thinking from what i have seen is that pellets should be fired 880-890-900 speed(ish) This makes sense as past Mach 0.8 you run into stability and drag issues and with a projectile that is drag stabilized this makes sense..

Well now AEA came out with their pellets and they don't look fundamentally different. There are differences of course but they aren't like slug versus pellet difference. Now with these AEA pellets we'v seen remarkable accuracy at 1000FPS and I think there is even a video of 30 cal Challenger slinging them at 1100 FPS with close to MOA accuracy at 100yards.

So I guess my question to all you guys that are much smarter then me, whats changed. Were we wrong with the 890ish guidance or have AEA found som kind of secret source.. I know the pellets are a bit harder but not sure how that would explain being able to go faster.

PCP Pistol  SOLD GK1 carbine for sale

Up for sale is my GK1 in .25 cal. It's the V1 model and serial number 68 from the first batch. It's a great gun but prefer traditional style rifles for hunting. Have had zero issues with it and it absolutely loves 34 grain JSBs and that's what I've shot most of out of it. Set at around 800 fps and gets a full mag at that power. I'll include everything in the pic except the scope it's self. I'll include the off set rings that work really well. PayPal F&F preferred but can also take Zelle through my bank. Asking $1250 shipped in the US only. Thanks for looking James from Michigan (Graphic pics below) Only possible trade would be for a DRS classic walnut .25 600mm.

  • Question
Diana  Opinion on Diana 460 Magnum?

Hello, first post on the traditional airguns forum. So I am getting into air rifles and have previous experience with the diana 34 I bought for my dad. I liked it quite a lot but was wondering about getting a 460 as I like the idea of higher power and fixed barrel. What are peoples opinions on it?

Beeman  Getting my feet wet!

I’ve been looking at springers for several months. Been reading on this forum and researching a few dealer’s websites for reviews on springers that I favored. Finally settled on an R9 in .22 cal. I ordered a Hawke Airmax 4-16 Compact with Sports Match adjustable rings. As soon as I got it, I made several passes through the barrel with J-B honing paste then cleaned it well. Mounted the rings then ran a honing bar through them to make sure of a good seat. I struggled the first 100 rounds to get a decent pattern with Hades Diabolo 15.89’s. I’m about 200 into it now and after a few adjustments I think I’m finally onto a good pattern at 15 yds.(I started there because of a squirrel issue I have in my front yard just outside of a dormer window about the same distance) I also have H-N Terminator 16.36 that I have not tried yet. Starting to see the light and a smile every time I squeeze the trigger. Already have sights on an AA TX200 and a PS. As soon as the acorns dry up in the front yard, it will be raining squirrels!!🐿️

177 pellets and older fingers

So I bought my first 177 about two weeks ago. Never thought I would own a 177 or a clone CO2 pistol either. But I am teaching a friend who has never shot the basics of PB handguns and the Umarex PPQ M2 seemed a good starting point. No recoil and no loud report.
Any ways, I have learned to hate 177 projectiles in less than 2 weeks. My old fumbling fingers struggle with the Liliputian sized projectiles every time I go to stick those 21 micro pellets in the magazine.
All the above is somewhat tongue in cheek but I am wondering if there is a secret to handling these minuscule wonders more efficiently.
Also, didn’t think I would enjoy shooting this thing but am having a ball shooting it in the garage with a minimalist back stop.

Long shot, Dead squirrel with no penetration.

Today this hapless critter showed up at the wifes garden while I was working out an R7 tune over my chrono. I grabbed my Hw50 and took a shot at it's head. I heard it hit like nut. The squirrel slinked a few feet on the drive and went still.

I was pretty shocked. It was at least a 60 yard shot. The chronograph recorded 785 fps with a 8.64 FTT. That's only 11.82 fpe. Upon inspection I couldn't find a wound. I think I killed it with a concussion.

I normally keep my squirrel shots within 40 yards on this rifle but it was the strongest air rifle at hand.

Kalibrgun  .30 Cricket 2 Tac ~ Zan 56gr pellets

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything. Tuned a Cricket 2 Tac that came out great and thought I’d share. The Old Crickets are still hard hitting and accurate with great regulators! I did some porting on this barrels transfer port, changed out the valve spring and cut a custom hammer spring. Tuned for the 56gr Zan pellets at 880 fps. I also did my mod on the magazines which helps smooth indexing. Here’s the chrony string from a 260 bar fill down to the 150 bar reg setting. This is with the 580cc factory bottle:

Y’all be good‼️

Never Had Faster Service.

I said it before, and I'll say it again. Skout is the fastest most engaged, and courteous experience I've ever had from any manufacturer, or vendor of anything. I ordered my Skout Evo 5 days ago. And today it arrived. Even after I changed the delivery address to my work, so I wouldn't have to take a day off to sign for the package. Truly impressive. 5 days. Two of which were the weekend. Which incidentally didn't stop Darryl from answering an Email after hours. Truly great. So... 3 business days. With a weekend in the middle. You just can't beat it.

Now if my scope, mount, and ammo would get here..!

Selling my RAW TM1000 .177 <20fpe FT rifle. This is a Martin build with Serial #005. It was sent to Motorhead for his magic. He did a complete reseal, rebuilt the regulator, new spring, hammer, and valve seat, SSG anti bounce, etc.

Scope, rings, and Riser NOT included but anything is negotiable…

Asking $1,700 shipped.
I normally use PayPal, but am flexible depending on the buyer. I have a long history buying/selling with well known members here.

Debit/credit card protection?

Another debit card denial on my purchase of airgun related books. This has happened twice now on books from the UK to me. Had a Krale purchase nixed by my card. Tried to get HP gauge and fittings to deal with my HW90. That was denied a second time after I thought the bank straightened it out. All of these denied purchases were airgun related in some way. Just had to blow off steam. I don't play well with others and know it. So I make a supreme effort to be polite. I also pray a lot. It helps me greatly. YMMV. BE Well Brothers, Bandito.

N/A  Question for those that tune/machine their rifles.

I acquired a Reximex Ixia/Throne sub 12 (I'm in UK) as a project so as I have modded Turkish guns before to very good effect I made it an SSG plugged the plenum volume and turned the reg down to 80bar and added a .177 barrel as it was previously .22, now this setup is very accurate, but the fps is not at all consistent with various weights of pellets.

So re stripped and when through the trigger sears as there was a little too much tension on the hammer from the sear, so that sorted I then had a look at the reg and decided that the transfer port of the reg was very small so bored it out a little more and the sealing face was IMO a bad design and not good for sealing so re machined that and put it back together, but the fps is still not consistent and will vary by over 20 fps from one shot to another, so I am at a bit of a loss, although I may just buy a Lane bottle reg and see if that helps but the STD reg has to stay due to the design so it either run it as a second reg with the first taking the bottle pressure down to about 90-100 bar and have the STD reg handle the jump to 80bar or just open the STD reg up so it's just passing through but I maybe barking up the wrong tree completely, so any input would be appreciated.

Sheridan  Am I now an honorary American?

Hello all! We had to go to Bordeaux today for a hospital appointment, something that usually fills me with dread! But this time, I had a repaired gun to return to a gun shop down that way.

An excuse to check out the stockroom full of unwanted wrecks!

First I found a Diana 56 that needs repair, I said I’d do that as they are easy to work on. Then I spotted a pumper!

I thought it was a Benjamin a392 as I didn’t have my reading glasses, and it looked like brand new so it can’t be an old one.
Then I got it home………

Please can you take a look at this video and give me a rough idea of age? We never saw many over here, but this does appear to be an 80’s gun in brand new condition Any help most welcome

Pump Up The Jam! With the Sheridan Blue Streak. Is this an 80's sleeper? please help

Is there anything in between the Zelos and the Impact m4?

I have an Airacuda Max in .22 and an Umarex Gauntlet SL .30. I would like a .25 cal bullpup style rifle. I told myself I would save up for an M3 or M4 but I am just not sure I want to spend that much. The Zelos/Snowpeak looks great but I really wish it had a little higher shot count between fills. Is there something great in between the cost of these two rifles?
