Accessories  SOLD Shoot in YOUR HOUSE!!!! Indoor/Outdoor Pellet Trap

I won this at EBR and have never used it. I have the original artist/maker's paper with it. I was told by someone that is good up to 20-ft-lbs. The paperwork says 12ft-lbs. VERY well constructed and it is definitely a work of art. 7"x 8" opening. With a built-in magnet to hold your target. Please make a fair offer no low ballers. I am sure there are at least 5-7 man hours in this. I think it is walnut but not sure. Very, very nice piece for WFTF or 10-meter disciplines.100$ and accepting offers!!!

FX impact M3 m3 thread pitch size that hold backbone

Anyone know the m3 socket head thread pitch size for the screws that fasten the backbone to the action? The ones under the cheek piece. I know the .5 pitch bolts don’t fit. They are a finer thread. I want to replace them with stainless steel since I don’t use the cheek piece and want to prevent corrosion from my cheek sweat.
Thanks
Gabe

.177 Eyes wide open.

Hi AGN, I wanted to express my enthrallment with this HW50 in 177. I've always had 22cal springers and PCP,s. I bought a HW50 in 177. I was very surprised by the power and accuracy of the HW50. But then I soon realized how WHAT a ROLL the wind will play. I love this kind of challenge. Keeps me moving. Anyhoo, my range faces west, max distance 67 yds,(unless)lol,,,,,,,, So my targets r at 25 yds, dingers. I have a constant wind of I'd say 5 mph from north to south. BUT the normal west to east wind kept falling off. In fact that west wind kept switching from west to east. I could feel the cold wind on my neck. It was rather chilly. Sometimes I nailed it,,sometimes not. I have to tip my hat to those that compete in F&T. I walked away with no shame but I definitely found alot of respect and admiration for the 177. and those that compete.

Tough squirrel, 177 pellet or poor shot placement?

I shot my fifth with my P35-177 a few minutes ago. It is tuned to shoot the H&N Baracuda 10.65 grain it likes at about 900 fps. I saw this squirrel on the fence separating my yard from my neighbors. I went and got the P35 and it ran up an oak as I and my dog Cola came out the door. It did not go very high, maybe 25 feet, but was hidden somewhat by a limb and partially on the other side of the tree. I waited for it to shift position and when I could see the body, but not the head, I shot. I still had to avoid a limb and thus only had a window to shoot through but I heard a distinct plop of the pellet hitting the squirrel. But it didn't immediately drop. A few seconds later it dropped and I put the gun on a chair on my back porch and went to retrieve the squirrel. I saw a bunch of blood where it hit the ground on the wrong side of the fence but no squirrel. Then I looked up my oak closest to the fence and it was there about 10 feet up the tree. It was very shaky and I didn't have my gun so I waited for it to drop. It did in a few seconds and my little dog, Cola, got it. But it was fighting her and she dropped it and it ran under a bush that was right there. Cola got it again and shook it until it stopped moving. Whole thing took a minute or two but wasn't the clean quick kill I like to have.

I hit it low on the neck, I did not get the spine at all. The pellet went through the neck and broke the off side shoulder and came out the lower leg. I am surprised it could climb like that but it did twice. I've had them fail to be able to climb with a leg broken like this before. But the neck wound was fatal, just not real quickly. It had to bleed out. So my placement was not great. But would a bigger hole have dropped it quicker? I think it probably would have. But I'm even more confident that better placement would have dropped it quicker. This is the second squirrel out of 5 with my 177 that Cola had to shake to finish it off. That never happened in 20 squirrels with my 25s. Cola definitely gets an assist for this one. (the picture of Cola is from this summer, she is debating attacking a snake) I think the squirrel was also more determined to escape than many I have shot. It was a 16 ounce male.

25 meter and 50 Meter Benchrest Rifles...

I have been looking at getting into 25 meter and perhaps 50 meter benchrest type shooting. I have been searching the rifle rigs. It looks to me like the basic entry rigs are based off of 10 meter competition rifle specifications. Many appear to be custom built, as I would expect, but for those that are "production" the more traditional 10 meter guns appear the base. However, it appears to to me that some transition taking place in the 50 meter type shooting events where more of the Daystate, FX etc seem to be coming onto favor compared to the more traditional players.

I get the other equipment from rimfire benchrest. The 1 piece stands etc. I understand what I do to do with the stocks and peripherals. What I do not have have clearly in my head is the air rifle profiles. In rimfire I would build of the action (RimX, etc.) or in production look to the likes of Anschutz etc. actions. Using quality subsonic ammo, etc. What is the profile of a 25 and 50 meter BR rifle?

Is this an accurate perception of the air rile profile here? If not, what would be a production entry into 25 meter benchrest look like. How would that be the same of different from a 50 meter air rifle benchrest rig?

SOLD [SOLD] Edgun Lelya 2.0 0.25 w/ HUMA Regulator, Nice Walnut Stock, Soft Case & Accessories

Hello AGN,

I'm looking to sell a very nice 0.25 caliber Edgun Lelya 2.0 w/ a nicely figured walnut stock, upgraded HUMA regulator, extended power plenum, cheek piece, 2 magazines, fill probe, bipod rail, soft case, full o-ring kit and other extra accessories. I bought this rifle from a local seller and it is a great shooter. I had it scoped with a SWFA 3-15x42 scope and it was such an awesome, compact, lightweight and accurate package that was a joy to shoot.

This rifle is an excellent & consistent shooter as you would expect from a high quality Edgun; it is currently shooting JSB 254.g pellets at ~900fps. Noteworthy on this particular Lelya 2.0 is that it has an upgraded Huma regulator and extended power plenum installed to give you more and consistent power. It recently had the regulator o-ring fail and local airgun genius jack.k replaced it and gave the rifle a full cleaning/maintenance. As a result, the rifle now holds air perfectly. A complete o-ring reseal kit will be included should you need to do any maintenance in the future. It also has a cheek rest and airtube picatinny rail adapter installed; the shroud is wrapped in high quality carbon fiber vinyl wrap that can be easily removed if you don't want it. There is light wear here and there on this hunting rifle but nothing of any significance. Rifle will be shipped to you in a nice VISM padded soft case w/ internal straps and 4 external accessory pockets.

Price is $1,350 + 1/2 of actual shipping to your location.

Local pickup is available in the SF Bay Area - otherwise, payment by Paypal Friends & Family is preferred (or add 3.5% if using PP Goods & Services). I have a ton of feedback here as well as on the old Yellow Forum so feel free to due your due diligence to know that you're dealing with a reputable trader.

SOLD Aztec 5.5-25x50 FFP Scope

I’m downsizing my “arsenal” to fund another interest, and this scope‘s rifle has been sold…
FFP scope with a great reticle for field target or any discipline using holdover, includes a 4” focusing wheel. Scope ranges accurately at 16x, with nice yardage spacing between long yard marks. Nice glass, solid turrets, clear and simple reticle, this scope is a great choice for Hunter field target. There are a couple of minor surface marks, but glass and mechanical functions are perfect. I’ll include medium rings and pay shipping conus. I’ll be adding photos later today, $325.00. Thanks.

SOLD Walther LGU 22cal UTG Scope

I bought this gun 3? years ago on a whim, but since then I became obsessed with my PCP guns so I only put a tin of pellets through the LGU….mechanically, it is essentially new with scope as well.

Unfortunately! as you can see, I left it in a case and it developed the rust that you see in the pics. The stock is perfect as is everything else except for the rusted areas, including scope screws

I thought to reblue it but since I am not using it, I would like to sell it.
It’s sighted in at 15 yards and shoots into essentially one hole

This is an incredible gun but I like the PCP’s much more

I paid almost $700 for the gun and if I remember correctly, $250 or so for the scope and mounts, so I am into the gun for almost $1,000

That said due to the condition of the gun, I am not expecting top dollar but I won’t give it away either

If anyone is serious about the gun, message me and hopefully we can agree on a fair to both of us price.

I do want to sell the gun so I will consider reasonable offers

Thanks!

Its a Before & After

I ended up taking a shot on this guy once he was out in the middle of the yard at about 20 yards. Aimed for the head and took my shot. WHACK! An extreme happy dance ensued and he relocated to another part of the yard about 15 yards away. Checked him out through the Hawke and I must have missed his cute little noggin. He was just sitting there in distress. Levered up for my second shot and CRACK! Tail curled up and slowly straightened out with no movement.

Ultimate AirForce Talon SS setup?

I used to have an Air Force Talon SS and I regretfully sold it. Now I'd like to re-acquire a nice setup with a couple barrel/valve options.

I mainly shoot paper so accuracy, range, and air-efficiency are my primary drivers. I'm trying to decide between .177/.22, short/long/heavy barrels.

What is the most accurate setup? .22 with 24" heavy barrel?

What is the most efficient setup? .177 short barrel?

Any valves or trigger mods recommended?

Tuning  Fx Wildcat Bt Compact and medium/heavy .25 slugs

Hi guys,
greetings from Italy and this is my first post in here. Planning to buy a Wildcat .25 Bt Compact, love the Compactness and the power.
I would like to shoot 30/33/35 grain Zan Slugs
In my mind I would like to shoot them around 950/1000 fps with a Very low extreme spread, I do not want to deal with FX reg creep so I decided to buy 2 huma’s reg, huma slug power kit,High Flow new V2 Dual Hole Transfer Port and if necessary a Tungsten hammer.
I have few questions:
1) how many bars should I set the first and second regulator?
2) What kind of accuracy Should I aspect from a standard 500 mm barrel?
3) Should I buy a Heavy liner?

Thanks, any help is appreciate.

Question about regulator pressures?

My Huben has 2 gauges - one for the air cylinder and one for the regulator volume chamber.

After rebuilding the regulator - replaced the o-rings and lubed up the bellevue washers, I've been keeping an eye on the gauges looking for leaks, etc.

Over the past week, the air cylinder gauge has been steady at 185, but the regulator gauge has been dropping slowly, first 170 and now a week later 160. Is this just the regulator "settling" in after the rebuild or is there a leak? Or is this so-called "regulator creep". I would have thought with a leak somewhere in the gun, the gauge on the air cylinder would drop too?

Kral gets another DRT!

Got this grey burying the pecans around the yard. Waited for him to get back to the shooting station and hit I'm with a 17.5grn NSA slug leaving the muzzle at 28 fpe out of my Kral Pro 500(in a jumbo stock).
He laid over, took a couple breaths and expired. Not a single flop. Went threw right shoulder, hit both lungs and heart, and broke the left shoulder and stayed just under the skin. Some would say that was a perfect shot... I agree with them!

more on my AA S510

more playing with my new to me S510 . well another mystery ? went to try a moderator on this gun , simple just unscrew the thread protector and ??? what not 1/2 x 20 ?
looks to me it is a threaded barrel measured @ 37/64 diameter threads ?? Owner had a mod on it but did not sell with the gun . looking on the net and nothing found .
Donny FL has a male to male adaptor but states it will not work with a S510 that came with a moderator ?

If you bought a AA S 510 with a factory mod you can't change the adaptor ? and what is that thread anyway ?

One hole group challenge - smallest group size

For a nice indoor ( or outdoor) winter challenge, how about shooting for smallest overall group size possible. I propose the following:

1. Minimum 15 feet distance from shooter to target
2. Any airgun platform you care to use. Optics ok.
3. 5 shot groups on paper or card stock
4. Either 177 or 22 caliber.
5. Score by measuring outside overall group diameter in millimeters.
6. Keep it safe - don't shoot the fridge or the cat!

Your "target" for group size would be 4.52 in 177 cal and 5.52 in 22.

Here's my target sheet for today. My entry is lower right target (all the others sucked 🤣) I am shooting 177 cal from 6 yards (I am trying to keep in sync with the NRA targets I use which are 15 feet/5yds.)
