The barrels really get confusing Most compacts have the 400 or the 510 mm barrel, LW or CZ barrels new barrels will not be out until april of 03.
Now I am not sure of the big bottle RTI Prophet I have heard some of the Prophet II have been released with the new pellet slug barrels , People need to put down what gun they have what barrel they have keeps me from getting confused .
And the FX people just thought they were confused , LOL

I have a under lever air rifel and it dosent cock when i open the barrel and push on it to cock it after some pressure the lever just slips from inside the gun where its connected at the spring i check and the place where connect and pushes the metal is king of broken so i want to know what part i have to change

My winter hobby is shooting in the basement at 8 yards from a bench with my Weihrauch HW44 in 177. I am determined to get at least one group that measures right at 4.52mm with 5 shots. Whether it's possible or not is not the issue. It's the hobby - gives me a mission for these cold, snowy Northern Michigan days. Anyway, I am closing in on that elusive group as shown below.


The lower left bull is the closest I've gotten so far. I'm using QYS Chinese match wad cutter pellets 8.18 grains. I also use JSB match hand sorted 8.26 grain wad cutter pellets.

If you’re looking to trade for your impact barrel…just keep your shroud and I will keep my shroud and we will just send the barrels+probes without the shrouds. The Impact shroud doesn’t fit the wildcat/Maverick.

FYI edit: Impact probe will not fit in Maverick! So if you have a .25 cal Impact barrel, that’s the only one I can trade for since my probe is a .25 cal.

Just came into possession of one. Out of the box , first thing that hit me was how light it was! Felt like 5 lbs. Feels rock solid. Going to have to learn reg adjustment and hammer spring adjustment as well. look forward to shooting it next week, weather permitting.

I am new to this and just trying to wrap my head around some of these compressors being many thousands of dollars. Is the Amazon ones around $500 ok for beginners or are they junk?

Does anyone know any places (farms, livestock places, homes) in central Minnesota that need help getting rid of pests? I really want to start a Youtube channel for pest control, but I have no idea how to go about finding people/farmers/owners who allow or need help with such. Now, I can just shoot for fun, doesn't have to be for Youtube. I love those videos of airgunning for rats, ground squirrels, groundhogs, or anything that crawls that drives the farmers nuts.

Any ideas?

My dad and grandpa taught me gun safety and how to properly shoot a rifle when I was about 5. I would go hunting with one of them every year for either Whitetail Deer or Squirrel. When I was about 8 my grandpa gave me his old Ithica Single Shot Lever Action .22lr rifle and taught me how to use iron sights.

I remember back when I was about 9 when my dad would hand me a handful of .22lr rounds, grab my single shot lever action Ithica Rifle out of the safe, and tell me to go out and hunt squirrels on the backside if the farm for the day while he worked on a project vehicle. This became the norm on a day that I didn't have school to attend or chores to get done. I remember thinking I was the youngest of my friends to have the opportunity to go out on my own and hunt with a firearm without supervision which was a nice bit of freedom to have!

Fast forward to present day. I am now 32 years old and have a daughter of my own that just turned 4 this fall. She is always outside with me when I am either working around our property or shooting one of my airguns. I patiently waited for her to ask when she could learn how to shoot or become interested in having her own rifle to shoot. So for her 4th Birthday I surprised her with an Artemis PP750 kitted with a Red-Dot and a DonnyFL. She was so excited to have her own rifle! We are working the importance of respecting the rifle and general safety guidelines. I learned that teaching a girl how to shoot is a lot easier than teaching a boy haha. Boys are more of a pull the trigger and listen to the instructions afterwards!

After our first few shootings lessons I have learned that the Red-Dot is a bit complicating for her to understand how to use at her age so I swapped it out with a laser so she can focus on trigger pull and keeping the rifle on target (which works better as I can see exactly where she is aiming at all times). All in all she enjoys shooting and hopefully I'll have a Squirrel hunting buddy in the near future!

(Some might think 4 years old is too young for backyard shooting. I believe it all depends on the child's maturity and willingness to learn)

In the past I owned two avenger rifles. 22 and a 25. Regret selling them as they were mostly great. The one thing that plagued both pretty badly was a super low POI out of the box. I had to shim scope rings on both to obtain a 50 yard zero. Anyone that has bought a recent avenger notice this problem ?

I thought i remember seeing an Air Gun Show in SE Alabama last fall ? can't find any info now . seems it was near the FLA border ?

We have purchased our own lead wire extruder for our slug machines. We have more capacity than we need for our machines and wondering if people making their own slugs/pellets need lead wire.

We can extrude pure lead wire in these sizes: .166, 200, .222, .264, .327, .430, .470. I can have other dies/sizes made if there were enough people looking for a different size but this is the size I make our slugs with.

Looking to see if people are in need and also if they would need it spooled or wound like it comes off our machine. We of course would hand wind into a smaller box. Our machine is made with a special unwind that lays the wire in a pattern that will not allow it to tangle. You can see how it comes off our extruder machine in the picture below.

It would be a little cheaper if we not have to spool the wire and just lay into a box and protect it with foam or whatever we come up with while being shipped. We only spool for our automatic machines (we spool off the pallet from the wire like in picture) which pull wire off spools but for manual swaging I don't see a need but let me know.
