Putting up for Sale my first and last bought new by me gun. I’ve had my fun with it, and now it’s time to try something else.

I have several .22 springers and PCP’s. As a lefty I could let this one go. It’s got an excellent shot cycle and it’s a precision shooting machine. Nice front sight is fiber optic orange (metal and good, not cheesy) & easily seen.
Beautiful stock, not a single mark on it. Stays in a case.

Nice straight aftermarket Rekord trigger blade, Rekord trigger group, black 5 & 6mm stock screws. Leather sling and barrel band, factory one that will not come off or get loose. I’ve owned roughly 20 Thomas tuned springers and this one is fresh but broken in. No dieseling whatsoever.

It’s raining so just decided on what to list. I have no problem shooting groups or over a chronograph for fps, just not today.

LH FWB300 isn’t going anywhere.

I’m asking for $500.00 + $30 shipping/insurance in CONUS.

Best plinker?

If you were going to buy a pistol or PRod style carbine, what would you get?

Had to be:

Low power.
Quiet.
Carry it's own propulsion (SSP, pumper, etc.)
Easy-peasy to cock/pump.
Pleasant to hold.
Accurate enough.
Quiet.
Low power.

Let's assume cost isn't a driving factor here.

Leaning towards the FAS 6004/SIG version, but would love to hear other thoughts.

Theoben Eliminator For Sale/ Are They Worth It?

Howdy, I’m new to the forum here and only have a modest stash of Beeman barrel cockers for backyard enjoyment.
A local fellow stopped into our small town gunshop the other day with a Theoben Eliminator 22 cal. What a monster! I have always wanted a Beeman crow magnum and was told this is a very similar gun.
He wouldn’t give me a cash price and had already committed to listing it with them through gunbroker.com.
I may track the gun listing down and place a bid, it looked like a dandy. I assume like the crow magnum it will have a bit of a collector following and won’t be cheap.

So here is my question for you experts. Are these actually the same gun as the Beeman crow magnum? Are there any issues to be aware of on these guns? I assume if it is the same gun as a crow magnum it is definitely a giant old dinosaur with a lot of power!
This gun really intrigued me even though I had my heart set on a crow magnum.
Thanks for any input and I apologize if this has been a topic of discussion before.
Thanks a lot, A.C.

NLA NIB HW35 in .177 ** reduced **

Purchased two hw35s from Krale in mid September of this year, only intending to keep one of them. I put about 50 pellets through the .177 and the shot cycle is very smooth. A five- shot string over the chronograph registered an average velocity of just under 800 fps with Crosman Premiers, and shot to shot variability of less than 7 fps. Asking US $330 plus shipping (double boxed in original packaging with lots of bubble wrap). Will discuss payment options with prospective buyer.

Okay nice. I’ll ship it later today and let you know.
(Hi, so I’m here at FedEx and shipping is way above what I expected. $25 more is needed.)
($45 with extra charges $5 that’s $50)
(I trust FedEx. They deliver swiftly and also well packaged that’s why I use them.)
I'll send you another 25
(Okay that’s great!)
(Good morning Mr Fred! You should get your package this evening or latest by tomorrow morning.)
Thank you
(Hey, the package got tangled up with Alphabet org.. the papers are in check and my license is valid they obviously just want money!!!)
(Now they want $100 for the rifle and scope to be released!!🤦🏻‍♂️)
You have a tracking number I can't pay any more for that rifle
(I have $60 w me I need 40 more to get this clear. I’ll owe you a couple of mags for the stress. I’m really more professional than this)
I'm going to call FedEx do you have a tracking number
(I don’t collect the tracking cause it’s not always accurate, so no I don’t have it.)
So how do you know I'm supposed to get it today or tomorrow without tracking number
(I have direct contact with the driver delivering the package.)
(I know if I pay them off now it will be all over. If you can help me with the 40 I’ll owe you. This is surreal man and I’m genuinely sorry for this experience.)
I called FedEx they told me an air rifle is classed as a toy and the package would go to the sorting depot in my area then it would be delivered locally i they doubt very much you would know the driver also they suggested I talk to the people you are saying want money I'm going to go to the PD as I work for the city here and ask them about this situation and no I will not send you more money
(I hate Alphabet org See what they caused )
Ok so the air rifle never arrived I have been advised to ask you for my money back.
I have not heard anything else from this guy.

Candidate for the worst airgun article ever?

I would at least read the article before publishing. Hard to believe Airgunwire included it, but I find AI written articles are entertaining nonetheless. “When you mount a scope to a windshield…” “ And make sure you choose the right shotgun shell.” 🤣

SOLD FX Silencer/Moderator

I have a FX silencer that measures 125 mm long and about 35 mm diameter. The outlet on the end is about 8.5 mm so it looks like it could be for .25 cal or under. I have personally only ever used it for .22 cal, and it has always worked well for me.
It is threaded with the standard 1/2" x 20 UNF. Both end caps are threaded (you can faintly see that in both picture the last inch or so is removable), so it comes completely apart for cleaning or I assume swapping out ends if you have ones that would fit.
This was what FX was selling before teaming up with DonnyFL.

Numbness from Shooting

I have been shooting regularly now for a couple of weeks - 3-4 days each week @ 2+ hours per session. I shoot at a bench supplied at the range, so different benches depending where I get assigned. I have noticed a numbness in my right pinky finger along the bottom edge (I am right handed). Yesterday I paid more attention to my shooting posture. I shoot with a bipod and a bag for the stock but mostly use my right arm as the rest - on my elbow without the bag. Well this really seems to be the cause as I'm pinching the nerve and really noticed it last night. My question is "What have folks been using in the way of 'cushioning' to take the pressure off the direct elbow to wood position?" I did move my position back so that I was not using my elbow and definitely could feel the difference - and the shots got worse! I have been toying with the idea of going to a really stout tripod that will hold the rifle completely to alleviate some of the "elbow leaning" but not sure if that will work on the bench as well as I want to reduce the pressure - it certainly will do better than my tripod with the V holder that I use for hunting! Any suggestions would be great!

Field Target for Fun?

Other than following the power requirements. I would like to be able to show up at a match with my 18 FPE PCP, range finder, bipod (attached to gun), and a bucket too! And simply shoot the match for fun. I don’t own or foresee owning such a variety of sweet reactive targets. So I’m there to see how many I can knock down, no scorecard submitted at the end. Do field target matches allow such a thing? We understand that knocking down reactive targets is fun… why not a “fun class”, where scores will not be submitted. The clubs still get the match fees, the serious players are not affected. And the “funners” fun gunners enjoy a novelty shoot. And if they start to “get serious” they can migrate to the other classes?

How much has your FX impact POI moved today ????🥴🥴

Well today a record was set, a full 4” to the left at 50!!!yards the point of impact shifted. That’s probably 8” at 100 yards 😳😤😭🤯😢🤬😡

I think I’m going to call this rifle my
FX Impact shift M4”.

If it wasn’t because this rifle shoots so damn accurate ( after I correct the POI ) I would be very disappointed.

This is not a 700mm is a 600 mm.
Tensioner barrel
Carbon fiber sleeve
I just can’t trust this rifle anymore.

I still think it is an amazing rifle but the more I get to know it the more I think is more of a bench rifle and treat it like if its made of glass.

Vertical Shooting with PCPs

I have searched the forums and threads and have not found a thread addressing this issue. I can’t see where or why anyone would encounter this style of shooting outside of pesting or hunting, but I could be limited in my thinking.

During the opening weeks of squirrel season I have been seeing and hearing many squirrels high up in the trees eating acorns, other nuts, and pine cones. Particularly in the pine trees I’ve seen squirrels close 25 yards up (according to the parallax knob on my FFP scope). While situating myself close to the tree trunk I’ve taken up to 3 shots at a squirrel way up there and they don’t move. I’m shooting JSB King 25.39 grain domed Diabolo pellets from an EDgun Lelya 2.0 in .25 caliber. I haven’t seen them flinch. I can’t figure out how I’m supposed to be aiming because I don’t know where my shots are hitting. I’m not sure if pellets are arcing and hitting pine needles or small branches on the way up or what.

While kneeling or standing I’m pretty much resting the rifle but almost on top of my shoulder. This positioning of the but feels awkward. I have shot at steep angles with success, but shooting vertically seems to be a different ballgame. With so many leaves still in the trees I’m sometimes limited to particular angles that I can take where I can see the desired kill zones clearly. I’ve only practiced shooting steep angles at pine cones. I could stand to affix an angle indicator to my scope to give me a better idea of the angles I’m referring too.

My question is, what has worked for some of you to hone your shots at a virtually vertical shooting angle? Is anyone taking these types of shots with success?
