Anyways shes a far better shot than i!!!, but first impressions with the huben?!?!?! OH MY FLIPPING GOD!!!!!!!!
Please carefully inspect those time stamps. This thing is not tuned aggressively and it is hammering those 33.95s with authority! The shot group is an entire 17 round mag rapid fired at 50 yards , that shot group coincides with the chronograph readings shown, let that sink in for a bit..... the rifle and air tank also sat in my car all day at sub 30 degree temps.

I may have found my new favorite rifle but time will tell, this thing is just..... HANDY. It is ergonomically amazing, light, the trigger is actually just under my Taipans as far as awesomeness goes, it is crisp, predictable and light. Loading may be a bit tedious without being able to just slap a new mag in but its very easy to load the rifle (with a bipod) . It is also extremely quiet for not having a suppressor, I also got a very, very good deal on it as it has some cosmetic aging marks on it, little nicks, scuffs in the anodizing but nothing that stands out wildly.... anyway on to pics.

Hello all from a newbie to the forum. Am in the process of building a Crosman 600 carbine and am having difficulty finding a reputable source for an extended barrel. Have reached out to one shop in South Carolina and one in California without luck. I'm looking for a standard 24" long 7/16" Crosman barrel in .22 cal. machined to fit the 600, nothing exotic. Any ideas would be appreciated. Will post photos and performance improvements when the project is finished.

A brief history of my PCP experience. I traded for a 25cal maunder that was tuned already for energy. It shoots great and I squirrel hunt with it. Thats it. I have a hand pump and will need to get portable compressor to fill. I don't want to drive to town to get tanks filled.

I am want a high end pcp like the ones listed above but I have needs. LOL

Here they are:
1. very dependable
2. I am not a tinker at all, don't want to mess with tuning all the time. Just want to grab gun and go.
3. Mostly for hunting but some plinking. mostly squirrels
4. Accurate
5. good shot count per fill
6. I'm lefty so needs to be ambi. no mags hitting my cheek or having to move head. Bolt can be on right as long as I don't have to lift my head up to work it.
7. compact like the FX M3 compact
8. quiet or able to add moderator

Sorry for sounding so demanding but if I am going to spend 2 grand or so just on rifle it needs to do these things. Most important thing to me is dependable and doesn't need to be tinkered with all the time. I am hunter

Whatever your reasons for being a shooter we can all agree that it brings with it some emotions. We share some of those regardless of platform or pursuit. Thoughts of the “first time” you shot a gun. The sweet feeling of hitting what you’re aiming at consistently. Being able to handle your guns proficiently. Most long time shooters know that feeling. Missing our marks? All shooters know that feeling. We’re lucky there are so many good choices in the airgun world. And its just natural that some prefer one brand/platform over another. Its all good, we are lucky to have such a hobby.

Being the day after Christmas, my day today was packed with meetings that really screwed up my trigger time, so I was forced to plink at night. Here is a little video:

I missed four shots that I didn't show on video because there was no point, but all of the shots were from 45-80 Yards. I don't think that you could really see the cans that I was shooting at on the video because they were in between the tree limbs, but I am so familiar with my range that I can pull this off. I was shooting, standing at a door.

So, this is my therapy for the short days. I bought a little flashlight that is really bright that will mount in my Picatinny mounts on the bottom of my gun. I've thought about getting a few big flood lights, but I do have neighbors and don't want to make it look like a stadium was built next door. How do you guys deal with these short days, and limited daylight to shoot at stuff?

Hi, Noob here,
I installed a Huma regulator in my Gen 2 Marauder last week. I am very happy as my best 50 yd 5 shot groups went from 3/4 inch down to mostly 1/4 inch. But my compressor fills the rifle to its normal 3000 psi level but now the Marauder air pressure gauge, which screwed into the Huma regulator when full says it's 2100 psi. Is this normal? Otherwise I am very happy after over 500 rounds with this Huma regulator.

The gun has a Maccari tune kit installed by me. The kit is composed of a spring, delrin guides, and seal. It’s his “Hornet FAC kit”. The gun shoots JSB 8.44 at 835fps for 13ftlbs at the muzzle. Has a pleasant shot cycle and cocks smoothly. This gun is ready to shoot.

It has a Rowan engineering brass set back trigger and Macarri black gloss aluminum trigger guard. The scope is a Hawke Vantage 4-16x44 side focus mildot on sportmatch mounts. Everything is about 4 years old and was stored in a safe. Only used to target shoot in my backyard, wiped down and put away.

I have a few hunter friends that think I'm loopy because i get excited about hitting targets at 100yards with my .22 and .25. Then I get an earful of their long shots of 200, 300 yards etc.

So how to calculate equivalents of target and distance with different size targets? A pigeon at 100yards is similar to a deer at how many yards? A moose?

I just recently started shooting Hunter FT. In non-positional lanes I've been shooting from a crate and bipod, shoulderr/hips positioned about 45 degrees to the target, with the butt of my rifle in the pocket of my shoulder. Is it legal to shoot from my crate, with my shoulders/hips aligned with the target, with gun resting on the bipod and across both my knees (similar to the deadman WFTF position)?

Thinning the herd after acquiring too many airguns this year. Purchased new by me direct from Talon Tunes earlier in the year. This Taipan Veteran Compact in .22 caliber is an amazingly accurate airgun. I've shot some extremely tight groups out to around 40 yards with JSB 15 and 18gr pellets. Wonderful trigger as is typical of the Taipans. Upgraded to a Huma moderator for more precise setting of reg pressure (set to 120 or 130, can't recall). Installed DonnyFL speed adjuster will take you very quickly from 500 - ~900 fps with JSB 18gr with very consistent velocity. Also has a DonnyFL moderator adapter in case you want to quiet it down more. MagPul pic rail adapter mounted under stock.

Comes with 6 - 10 round magazines and the Taipan magazine holder attached under the scope rail.

I consider the condition to be very good.
